I received a sample of this product. I suffer from chilblains which leaves me with extremely red swollen and very dry skin. It also affects the nail bed. I have used this product for the last three nights and it's a miracle cream. It has reduced the redness and alleviated the dryness which was so awful it looked as if the skin was cracking. There is still a way to go but if this is the results after only a few applications on a night with gloves, well l am more than happy. Thank you for sending me the sample. A happy Clarins customer.

I have tried the new Hand and Nail Treatment Balm and it is absolutely amazing for dry hands, especially during the winter. The product very quickly absorbs into a beautiful silky layer which just instantly makes hands feel so comforted. I have recently taken a break from Gel Nails and I can say that my natural nails look amazing after using this sample, they feel strong and moisturised and very healthy! Superb product. I can highly recommend, especially at night as a hand mask, it is just amazing!! Thank you Clarins for this luxurious beautiful hand balm!

I have combinationdry skin which is quite prone to blemishes. I use this Micellar water everyday to remove my makeup and it is the best one I have ever used. Years ago, I used to use the sensitive Garnier micellar water which I found didnt suit my skin and created these horrid little pimples on my forehead therefore I discontinued the use and switched to this Lancome one instead. It is a little more expensive, but it suits my skin so much better and I can see a huge difference in my skin since I have been using it for about 2 months now. A very good, very effective hand cream. It is incredibly moisturising with lasting benefit. I use this at night because it leave a film that works brilliantly but may be a nuisance during the day. The film works over night to leave my hands soft and very moisturised. It is also effective with nails and cuticles. It has no obvious fragrance, just a very, very faint aroma that fades quickly. I have extremely sensitive skin and my tolerance of fragrance is not good but neither the cream nor the fragrance upset me. The tube allows you to squeeze a small amount out and the lid fastens well. This is a cream I keep returning to because it keeps my hands feeling soft without any hint of dryness. Smells like original hand and nail treatment cream and is richer making this in my opinion a just before bed cream. I received a sample of this product but upon first application did not really enjoy the texture and absorption. Initially the product balled and pilled. After a while the feel was a bit heavy and tacky. I like that Clarins was trying for a richer treatment formula but I wouldn't buy this product. Have finished nearly two full size tubes of the original and prefer its feel and silky application even though those suffering from rough chapped eczema prone hands might prefer a different or second option.
First time I used this cream borrowed from someone. The smell reminded me of cream my dad used to use for his hard working hands about 20 years ago so I bought it. It is one of the few creams that actually do something to improve my skin. However when the skin is very dried, for example when I come back home after spending time in minus temperatures and my hands crack and need hydration it is a bit too harsh and can cause redness and slight stinging. However it's good to use from spring to autumn. Would avoid it wintertime, there are other creams for this time of the year. I am currently going through my third tube and got a bit tired of the smell. Also last tube I bought i have a feeling its disappearing from my skin quicker then previously.

When starting new there is no issue, a fine line of cream is dispensed upon squeezing but after a couple of days the consistency is very unreliable. Sometimes you will get a clean fine line and other times a very thick gunk of cream. I have been regularly cleaning the hole the cream comes from and this helps a little but nothing fully. I'm sure you can appreciate that, for me, your products are high ticket items and to waste so much cream from each tube is not financially viable for me. I truly love this hand cream, but I really wish it had no fragrance or only a natural fragrance. It’s SO strong and if you have any residue and happen to eat something, you end up tasting it too. My husband hates the smell as does my dog. Come on Clarins, you use so many other natural ingredients and plants are a big part, please consider making this with a totally natural fragrance, or perhaps make a fragrance free version for those that are sensitive. I can’t use many of your face products because of the perfumes in everything. Your body oils smell amazing, perhaps add something fragrant from one of those?? Please please!! I know this an iconic product and fragrance, but it’s time for a positive change.
This is a great hand and nail treatment. I use a lot of clarins products and this is worth every cent. It is a little expensive for a hand balm but it has restored my nails which were splitting and it protects my hands from environmental factors. This sinks straight in and leaves no greasy feeling at all which I love as I hate greasy hand creams. It leaves my hands feeling so soft and takes care of drynesss. It’s easy to use and leaves a protective coating on hands and nails. After using this for a while my nails are repaired and so much stronger, no splitting or breakage. I love the silky texture and it’s comfortable to wear. I would highly recommend this product
