Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Bi-Serum 30ml

I am a HUGE fan of serums. I don't know what I would do without a serum. This one is one of my new favorites because I can use it both in the morning and at night whereas a lot of the serums I use are either for morning or for nighttime. This serum certainly has revitalized my skin in ways I couldn't imagine. I have had a lot of dryness on my nose this Winter, but that is now gone after a week of using this serum alongside the Clarins Hydra-Essential silky cream. If you have sensitive skin like I sometimes do, this is super gentle and soft. I recommend you warm the product in your hand before gently pressing it into your skin. It's extremely dry and my nose is super flakey. This serum really does soak in all my moisture, but this serum works best with the hydra-essentiel cream (or any other moisturizer). It's like a booster for your moisturizer to lock everything in. I feel like this serum isn't as fragrant as the cream, which I actually like the cream's scent because its super fresh.I thought the texture of this serum because its so light, it feels like water almost, wouldn't work but it does. I am planning on buying a full size because my nose needs it especially with this awful winter weather. If you're looking for a product to really hydrate your dry spots on your face, this is this trick.

Fantastic product

Love this serum. Really nourishing for my 62 years old skin. I use this under the Super Restorative day/night cream. I find this basic serum best for my sensitive skin where other multi targets serum might cause a reaction. Highly recommend.

Fragrant silk in a bottle

This arrived on my doorstep this morning along with the Essentiel day and night cream. The texture is like pure silk and my skin feels amazing. Ive applied the day cream on top and I can honestly say that my face feels so comfortable that I feel like I have had a facial. Just devine. Well done Clarins

Great hydration

I received the sample size and didn't expect much! To be very honest I only started using it because my skin was so dry my foundation set patchy and flakey, which led me to take my foundation off, apply the serum then re-apply my makeup and it looked great!! The texture is like a water consistency that is almost immediately absorbed by the skin, but for myself I liked not feeling like I had a layer of product under my foundation. I could go on talking about my experience with just a sample. It is pricey which is probably the only con to this product but I'd say it's worth the money.

Not impressed with new formula

I have used the biphase hydra serum for years but unfortunately the new serum burns and stings my skin. It feels like it’s tight after using and not plumped with moisture like the old formula i loved. I took a break from using in case it was something else but after 2 days use this burning and stinging is back. I won’t be buying again, such a shame as this was my go to serum.

Quality Serum

Love quality serums and this one hit the mark. Just a few drops applied to a clean face and you immediately feel your skin soaking up moisture and then begins to tighten the skin. My skin glowed and felt tightened. Very impressed with this serum and would highly recommend. In fact I did, to my best girlfriend!

REMOVE THE FRAGRANCE

This is one of the most hydrating skin care products I have ever put on my face. But WHY do you heavily perfume it? Fragrance does not belong in skincare! I use it when my skin is desperate for a drink but my eyes water up every time. Please listen to your customers and take appropriate actions. I cant repurchase this until this is taken back to the lab.

Still good

This seems to be a slightly new recipe of the regular Bi-phase Serum I've been using for years. It doesn't seem very different to me - maybe the tiniest bit oilier (in a good way, a little more moisturising). Still happy with it. I use it solo in summer after washing face, and under moisturiser at night in colder months. Am in mid 50s, olive skin, and it still works well for me.

The IT product

such an excellent product. I have always had very sensitive skin which reacted to any new cream, serum or oil. I have tried a few skin products from Clarins but this...THIS IS IT...I have purchased almost the whole range and it is incredible. my skin looks hydrated and plum and healthy

Took a few tries to get it

So, this was my first time using this product and it took me a few tries to get it right. First morning using it, I pumped some in my palm and applied it to my face. I failed to read I was supposed to shake the bottle first. I wasn't impressed with the product. Next morning I read the directions to shake the contents first so I did, and then pumped it into my palm and applied it to my face. I was still unimpressed. Not wanting to give up, the third morning I shook the contents, pumped some into my palm, rubbed my hands together to warm it up and then pressed the serum onto my face. That made a huge difference and felt much more moisturizing! I hope this helps others who may be new to the product. Now that I know how to apply it, I like it.
