I attended a Clarins night at Barbours Dumfries. Kimberly from Clarins hosted with the Clarins girls Sam and Pam supporting. Kimberly demonstrated how to use the products to maximise best results. The new nude lipstick ranch was available- absolutely gorgeous. There’s a nude colour for every skin tone and the lipstick has longevity. Another great night. Kimberly is so friendly with great advice. Sam and Pam always go out of their way to ensure you receive products to suit your skin’s needs and makeup colours that suit your skin tone. Clarins is a fantastic brand with products that really work.

FAB-U-LOUS - I absolutely LOVE this colour. It’s a great everyday colour to wear with any outfit choice. It’s a between colour of a pink/nude but more of a pinky side if you prefer pink to light or dark nudes. It honestly is really beautiful and girly. I always feel so glamorous when I finish off my makeup with this lipstick and the wear lasts very well. While yes reapplication does have to happen throughout the day, I always reapply after I’ve eaten when I’m out for a meal and if I nip to the ladies for a quick touch up but other than that the lipstick stays fabulously.

It’s smooth when applying, good smell, extremely hydrated to the lips. The lips were moisturised whole day. The reason I gave 4 stars because it pretty much feel like lip balm than lipstick. My colour sample was Woodberry (shrine) which was perfectly for my lip’s colour tone. Colour was very fade/pale despite of be applied many layers (just my lips felt thicker and thicker). So, as Clarins said “not just a lipstick”, it actually works as a lip balm to me. I may use it as a base layer before applying other stronger colour lipstick. The idea of refillable is good however I haven’t tried yet to say does the case will hold well. Let’s see!

This product was gifted to me for the purpose of a fair and honest review.This is a beautiful looking product - the case has Clarins in gold around it which adds some glam. This is a refillable lipstick which makes one feel better about waste. It’s beautifully light but moisturising. This is definitely not an impact product. The tint really just emphasises your natural lip colour. A pearlescent finish. The lip colour on the packaging is not indicative of the product colour. The looked like hot pink on the box but it a muted brown pink. Not my tones but I appreciated sampling the product.This product was gifted to me to provide a fair and honest review.
Sample arrived in the post along with a well designed leaflet telling me everything I need to know about this product. Shade sent was satin grenadine and it lives up to its claims. Cream texture with a luminous satin finish, providing hydration and comfort as well a beautiful long lasting colour. Love the refillable idea but a little too pricey for my budget at ÂŁ19 for the lipstick and ÂŁ10 for the case; I guess if I wore one shade of lipstick daily it would work out more cost effective in the end though. Costly if you like lots of different coloured lipsticks rather than using one shade at a time. Having said that my lips are still soft and hydrated the next day so I guess it works like skin care as well as a lipstick, so it is worth the cost to get the extra benefits.

It feels hydrating, and nourishing and it won't dry your lips as you wear it. I love the soft berry shade. It looks natural and soft for sure. It like one of those colours “my lips but better” shades I LOVE the fragrance of this lipstick too! And the packaging looks even more fancy and high end than my Dior lipsticks haha. This is definitely a treat and I have found my favourite lipstick.If it helps, I have light skin tone and naturally pinkish lips. And for me personally I think this shade is perfectionAlso, it does have shine. So, pretty!
This lipstick colour is absolutely stunning. The lipstick is buttery soft, glides on beautifully and is a perfect shade for me. For some context, I'm a blonde, fair skinned woman. My skin is pretty pale all year round but tends to tab nicely in Summer with plenty of freckles. This colour is perfect with both my Winter and Summer complexion. This is probably the nicest lipstick I've bought in 20 years. And I will most definitely be buying it again once this one is used.

It feels buttery smooth, and hydrating as well as smells so good! My lips are usually fairly dry, and this lipstick did help keep them moisturised and hydrated more so than most lipsticks I have tried. The scent is sweet and fresh, definitely not like a standard lipstick smell.My lip’s definitely held the colour for a few hours without the need to reapply, which is a big plus for me!The size of the lipstick tube is big enough that I won’t loose it in my handbag, and doesn’t feel chunky in my hand when I apply.

During the lipstick sale I thought I would take a chance and try one of these and I’m glad I did. Super moisturizing, even after it has worn off. I love that it doesn’t stain my lips.
