Clarins Skin Illusion Natural Hydrating Foundation 30ml

I recently tried the Clarins Silk Illusion Foundation and found the perfect color match with shade #105. The shade range is well-curated and not overwhelming, making it easy to find the right tone. The consistency and texture of the foundation are excellent; it’s lightweight yet provides good coverage. Overall, I’m very pleased with this product and its performance.

Dry skin? THIS. IS. YOUR. HOLY. GRAIL!!!

This first thing I HAVE to say about this foundation is I LOVE the way it wears through out the day. It doesn't just "come off" in areas, like around the mouth & nose, but more like "absorbs away". After several hours(6hrs+) my foundation still look great, skin tone evened out. But it's at this point when it starts to "fade". It's a very gradual fade, kind of like when you start to lose your summer tan, it fades evenly. Even after 14hrs I STILL have tone evening coverage without patches. This stuff has changed my game, as I was starting to get absolutely sick of trying different foundations to get that truly natural looking finish that doesn't have "shimmer" or specks of "glimmer/glitter" like so many dewy type foundations have. Foundations I looked at where either really good for the first hour, but then dried out after an hour or two, or felt super heavy & then settled harshly into my wrinkles and lines... This stuff is neither. It has a watery like consistency that floats on to skin & blends so easily it's like watching magic happen! Let's face it, almost ALL foundations settle into wrinkles, it WILL happen. The difference between foundations is how easily it can be corrected and how many times you'll have to correct it before it stays in its permanent spot, if at all. After allowing it dry down for about 20 minutes there might be a couple areas that have slight settling, this is sooo easy to fix with just the touch/press of a finger. Areas like the forehead with lines/wrinkles just lightly press in (once you learn your problem areas it helps to do this from the beginning). If you have settling under the eye, gently swipe your finger downwards (opposite direction in which the line runs). After you've corrected the settled areas, most with a hydrating setting spray. This enhances the natural/ slightly dewy finish. If you have oily skin, this really isn't for you and I don't recommend ruining the gorgeous natural finish this foundation has by putting powder over it

Healthy and satin skin look

Was very impulsive purchase, but appeared to be really good one. Love the effect on the skin, it’s sheer and light, no sweaty/wet finish that I dislike so much. Was wearing 4h yesterday and it kept satin finish all time.I have quite dry skin atm (oily skin on treatment), but with good moisture the effect is amazing. Also surprisingly 109C shade (was the only cool shade presented in samples that I could try) fits my fair skin quite good (will be even better with some summer tan)

It's became my go to fave foundation after first u

I have mild rosacea (mostly flushed cheeks and large pores) so was looking for something that can cover redness but doesn't break me out/irritate my sensitive skin. This foundation looks soooo natural! With only a little bit, it covers my redness and evens out my skin tone without looking like a foundation. Love it! Feels moisturising and stays on all day at work (with powder on top). Colour is great too! I'm very pale and this is lovely. Love this !!

My forever foundation. Light and dewy.

I’ve used this foundation for years. The Clarins consultant helped my find the perfect colour. I will never change. It’s moisturising and light and looks fresh and dewy. I only need 2 drops so it lasts me 6 to 8 months. If I need more coverage I add another drop once it has dried. I’ve also got away with quickly applying a bit more at the end of the day before rushing out for dinner. Beautiful Product.

New holy grail!!!!

I'd just like to take a moment to appreciate this foundation! Everything I've been looking for and more! I'm 31 and usually wear too faced born this way which is still my go too if I want full coverage.. but this one is perfect!!! . Glides on effortlessly. Blends into my skin. Gives my skin a lovely natural glow. Feels like I'm not wearing foundation but its made my skin so perfect. I got a tester as I didn't want to waste money but I'm defiantly buying! Its just so amazing and doesn't exaggerate my fine lines its just beautiful.

Not skin Illusion

I was very disappointed with this foundation, it certainly didn't give a " skin Illusion". I followed a few different tutorials regarding this foundation including one by clarins and I got the same result every time. It seemed to turn to a chalky texture the moment it was applied to the skin and gave an overall painted on appearance.An older relative once told me she gave up on wearing foundation as it started to make her look older, it's foundations like this that make me understand what she meant! Can't return as it was opened so waste of money.

Skin illusion foundation

I bought this foundation at a Clarins event at Barbours in Dumfries. Kimberley from Clarins - who is absolutely fantastic- demonstrated the skin illusion foundation. It looked great on the model so I decided to give it a go. I've used the Everlasting Youth fluid for years but wanted to try a lighter foundation. This foundation is gorgeous, it gives a flawless and dewy finish. It feels like air on your skin. I only use Clarins products - make up, body treatments and facial products. My skin has never looked or felt so good. I'm 54 and people often comment on how lovely my skin looks with or without make up. Thanks to Sam and Pamela from Clarins at Barbours and to Kimberley for all the advice and tips on how to get the best from all Clarins' products.

The Best Foundation ever!

This is my holy grail! My all time favourite foundation, I have purchased this so many times & love it every single time.The coverage is definitely a medium buildable & lasts me all day! ( i am a beauty therapist and am on my feet all day so need something that’s going to last!) from the moment i apply to just before im going to take it off it looks beautiful.100% worth the price tag! I’ve tried “dupes” of this and nothing compares.

True to Promise

Very good product. True to colour. Great coverage which makes skin feel smooth and blemish-free. I have very sensitive skin but have never had a reaction to any Clarins product in over 30 years of use. My only criticism is that needs not so easy to get the right amount from the pipette. All in all I would recommend this product.
