I bought these to replace my Bushacre 2s which I accidentally shrank. Compared to my old pair:-The last seems wider but has a good bit less clearance above the toes; I went up a half size and I'm glad I did. Not crazy about how wide they look in comparison, but I'll get used to it.-These actually have support underfoot, which accounts for the lack of space; it took about two days to break them in and now they fit like a glove.-The color is quite a bit darker; they weren't kidding about the 'coffee' moniker. It's like full-strength black espresso color. They'll still work with my wardrobe (actually more of it than my last pair), but I wasn't quite prepared. If I could have a do-over, I'd get the 'dark brown' colorway instead.Overall, I do think these are an ... MoreI bought these to replace my Bushacre 2s which I accidentally shrank. Difficult to tell from the pics, but the taupe shade is suede. The suede seems nice with a good nap. The new cushioning on these is much softer than the old Bushacre boot. Some cons are the white layer visible on the heel and the fit is off compared to old CDBs. The opening around the ankle seems bigger and my foot slides around more and the toe box seems both more boxy/less sleek than previous DBs but doesn't have as much room vertically for my toes. Overall, I'm happy with the buy, the price and the ease of in store pick up.

My husband loves these boots. First the are low, more like a shoe boot than a boot, but this is why they are so comfortable. They don't make your feet too warm and are easy to get on and off. They look fantastic too! Dress them up a little with a jacket or shirt and tie or just with a good pair of jeans and a tshirt. The color is warm and rich and the leather is so soft. This boots look and feel Gorgeous! Now the most important part, they are made so well. The sole is great quality and they stitching fantastic! I highly recommend this boots. Not to surprising that Clark's has made a great quality shoe.

Love these awesome chukka boots. The do run slightly large, so something to keep in mind. Most people suggest a full size, but, I went a half size and they fit perfect.Quality is spot on, as they are made from genuine leather, and they are very comfortable for walking. Highly recommend.
The shoe itself is actually extremely nice, as expected from Clarks. I do have 2 problems however...1: The shoes appear to be a bit darker in person than in the pictures.2. They seem to run a bit large to me. I measured my feet and got the exact same size in CM as my best fitting shoes- and these ones I can fit 2 finger lengths between my heel and the back of my shoe.If you're open to getting a shoe that may look a bit different in person, and runs a little large, these are still amazing shoes. I will be returning and downsizing.
I bought my original pair of these 4 years ago and wore them HARD regularly. These have held up extremely well and still are quite usable if not quite as pretty as when new. Extremely strong construction and seemingly decent actual leather that wears very well and form to your foot shape very comfortably. Even the sole is still in good shape. Strongly recommend.I've now bought a 2nd pair and am pleasantly surprised that Clarks has not appeared to have cheapened these. The construction looks exactly the same, so I expect these to last me a long while as well.
I bought these for my husband as an xmas gift. He asked me to return them because they're made with a piece of leather, sewn on the inside over the achilles portion of the foot and the heel bone. This results in a ridge that rubs the back of the leg & foot. He said it was very uncomfortable.
Ordered first pair cyber Monday. They arrived in crushed box and when I lifted the lid , no tissue, just boots that seemed all scratched up. Knew my son would object, so ordered another pair in case they used boots. Second pair arrived individually wrapped in plastic bags and tissues in good box…hmmm like new! I might add that second pair didn’t get cyber Monday price so we’re about $12.00 more! Hopefully when son opens on Christmas the boots fit and he likes them.
They are really not a wide fit as advertised. Slightly wider than a medium width. Abit disappointing in that regard as I will not wear them. Probably donate to a goodwill store. I don't do returns, I try to not repeat mistakes !
Pros: Looks great and the insole comfort is ffantastic if you stand a lot.Cons: Poor lace design that creates unstable heel lift. If you need to react quickly these will not be friendly. The leather is thicker (good and bad) which can cause discomfort at the flex points. It's as if these were purposely designed for a shuffle style of walking. The lace flaps are awkward.I wanted to really like these, and I do eesthetically, but the functional execution leaves much to be desired. I drilled a 3rd set of eyelets - much better.
