I bought these to replace my Bushacre 2s which I accidentally shrank. Compared to my old pair:-The last seems wider but has a good bit less clearance above the toes; I went up a half size and I'm glad I did. Not crazy about how wide they look in comparison, but I'll get used to it.-These actually have support underfoot, which accounts for the lack of space; it took about two days to break them in and now they fit like a glove.-The color is quite a bit darker; they weren't kidding about the 'coffee' moniker. It's like full-strength black espresso color. They'll still work with my wardrobe (actually more of it than my last pair), but I wasn't quite prepared. If I could have a do-over, I'd get the 'dark brown' colorway instead.Overall, I do think these are an ... MoreI bought these to replace my Bushacre 2s which I accidentally shrank. Difficult to tell from the pics, but the taupe shade is suede. The suede seems nice with a good nap. The new cushioning on these is much softer than the old Bushacre boot. Some cons are the white layer visible on the heel and the fit is off compared to old CDBs. The opening around the ankle seems bigger and my foot slides around more and the toe box seems both more boxy/less sleek than previous DBs but doesn't have as much room vertically for my toes. Overall, I'm happy with the buy, the price and the ease of in store pick up.

I was looking for a comfortable boot that I can wear with khakis or jeans. I had been looking at the Bushacre 2 for a while, but was concerned about the quality/longevity of them based on reviews I read. I had a coupon and decided to give these a try. So far they are living up to my expectations. I'm not sure if they're worth the regular price, but certainly are worth what I paid for them. We'll see how well they hold up to everyday use. I'm hopeful they've made improvements over the Bushacre 2.

I ordered these boots first in my usual 8.5 but I nearly walked right out of them! I returned those to my local store and ordered an 8, those were too tight in the toes, ugh! I ended up buying these at the store in an 8.5 again and am satisfied that they will do. At the price they were offered I can live with them a bit on the large side. I took their insoles out and put in a pair I had with better arch support and they fit a bit better now. I do really like the look of the light suede ones though!
I bought my original pair of these 4 years ago and wore them HARD regularly. These have held up extremely well and still are quite usable if not quite as pretty as when new. Extremely strong construction and seemingly decent actual leather that wears very well and form to your foot shape very comfortably. Even the sole is still in good shape. Strongly recommend.I've now bought a 2nd pair and am pleasantly surprised that Clarks has not appeared to have cheapened these. The construction looks exactly the same, so I expect these to last me a long while as well.
I bought these for my husband as an xmas gift. He asked me to return them because they're made with a piece of leather, sewn on the inside over the achilles portion of the foot and the heel bone. This results in a ridge that rubs the back of the leg & foot. He said it was very uncomfortable.
The foot bed is comfortable and the upper feels durable. Will take a little breaking in. The leather is a little like a beeswax finish so it has a more casual look. Good with chinos or jeans.
I bought these boots for my son for Christmas. He wanted/needed something casual but not an athletic shoe. These fit the bill and he says they are very comfortable and go with jeans, khakis, cords, and even regular slacks. He liked the distressed leather look. He was definitely happy with these Bushacres!
These are nice looking boots that go great with jeans and several outfits. They have the kind of appearance that gets better with age. Every scuff and mark makes them more lived and stylish. They have a relatively wide fit and should be comfortable for anyone. I’m glad I bought these boots, everyone should have a good pair of boots and these Clark’s fit the bill.
I wear this boot at work, where I am on my feet all day. I wear this boot on date nights. I wear this boot while working around the house or out and about casually. This boot holds up well, is very comfortable to wear in any situation, and looks good with almost anything. I already have 2 more brand new pair in a box in the closet for when the current pair wears out, in case they decide to discontinue to change something about this particular boot
