3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. I used the Claw to hang a plaque on my wall. The marker made it easy to place the Claw in the right spot. It was easy to push the Claw into the wall. It took only a minute or 2 to hang up the plaque. The previous method I used did not hold the plaque up for very long but this seems much sturdier. I like that this product can support up to 15 pounds and also like that it does not leave a huge hole in the wall.

I had never used one of these before. However, I was impressed with both the ease of install and the small amount of damage to the wall. I will be picking up more of these for sure!

This 3M 7kg CLAW Drywall Picture Hanger is wonderful. My husband doesn't like hanging anything on the walls, so he always puts it off forever. Using this allowed me to choose any spot in the house, line it up and then push it in, DONE! Have been in the house for 20 years and now have something on the wall. It doesn't require a stud or any tools. Just a push with my thumbs and its done. So easy and convenient. Five pack is best value (but should come in even number packs), now my actual favourite household item!

I bought these to hang a gallery of family photos. These made easy work of hanging a variety of sized frames. I used A LOT and still need more. I was able to reuse the spot markers for several photos and now have about 20 unused little foam arrows floating around.I wish there were a way to buy these in bulk, without or with fewer spot markers. It's such a waste. I took off a star because of the lack of packaging size options and wasteful packaging.
I received 3M Claw Drywall Picture Hanger 15 lbs to try. Usually, I spend time trying to get my nail just right in the wall, and end up damaging the wall, because it does not go where I want to, so I make several attempts for perfect picture placement. Wit this product, it was a one and done deal. It comes with a wall marker so you know exactly where the end product will be, prior to making any impression on your wall. Then you just install bey pushing the hardware into the wall with your thumbs, no tools needed. No trying to find the hammer in the garage, or trying to remember the last place you had the hammer :).
It's very easy to use. It only penetrates the wallboard, making it independent of the location of studs, wiring, and piping.The chevron shaped wall marker is not necessary. It looks difficult to use, requiring you to position the item to be hung in exactly the place where you want it to be before pressing it against the wall. I didn't even try to use it. Instead I used a level to help position the item to be hung, then with a few pencil marks and a tape measure I was able to place the anchor and get my artwork hung exactly where I wanted it.
Overall ok product. Requires a bit of patience and finesse to follow the installation method recommended by the manufacturer. The included sticky foam markers are too thick and the adhesive is weak making it fairly easy for things to become misaligned when moving up against the wall surface. For me, I wouldn't buy these again when a wall anchor or screw could do the job just as well.

We do have some rough spots in our walls which with normal hooks I tend to find it hard to get them to go into the wall or stay in the spaces I need them to make my area look beautiful but I did find this hook to go in with ease with a simple 2 finger push. I was hanging 8X10 frames that range in weight of 2 to 4 lbs so I was under the 15lb maximum for this hook. Until I try it again I could not recommend this hook to friends or family because it could drop their frames also.
Every time that I want to hang a picture in my house, I have to get out the hammer and find a small-enough nail to go with my hook. Not with this product! It's so easy to use - no extra tools or parts needed - and it's extremely sturdy. Plus, the spot marker makes it easy to get the hook in the right spot. I really hope people realize they no longer need to take out the nails, hammer, stud finders & etc. to hang a picture frame. Since I discovered Command hooks & their products, I've been a fan. Recently these CLAW hooks came up for me to try in exchange for my thoughts. (Yes please!)They are ingenious little things that make the hassle of hanging a frame the thing of the past. Just stick your Spot Marker on the back of your frame (near the hook place) then put it again the wall where you want it to hang. Take away the frame to find the sticker where you can put a little pencil mark to help you stick the CLAW in just the right spot. Put the CLAW up against the wall, lining up the dot to the little triangle indent on the CLAW and then push it in.The only additional ... They have found other ones that hold up to 25 & 45lbs... but have not tried those yet.
