If I was trapped on a desert island with only one skincare product, it would be moisturizer. Not this. BUT if the genie was nice enough to grant me a second one, it would absolutely be this product!! I’ve dealt with acne for years and years, tried every single product and option on the market - high-end, drugstore, over the counter, prescription. This is the most effective product by far and is ALWAYS what I recommend to clients with whiteheads, cystic acne, and even just for prevention. I use 1-2x a day, but you may want to start 2-3x a week and build your way up to daily/2x daily use in case you need to build up some tolerance or if it causes dryness initially. It wears fine under makeup, though I don’t recommend getting it near the eye area. It will cause dryness, a little stinging and even some flaking if it lands on the lid, so if I’m using under makeup, I do all of my eye makeup first, then apply all over before using moisturizer and applying foundation/face makeup. This will help prevent any “cross-contamination” because if it’s on your hands AT ALL you touch your lid, it WILL transfer!! This product is easy to find (grocery store, pharmacy, Walmart, target, etc.) and is usually around $4-7. The store brands of this product work just as well and are even cheaper. I couldn’t recommend this product any more than I already do. I’ve even purchased this specifically to give to a client who was struggling with.what we think is hormonal acne breakouts and she noticed a difference in just a few days in her redness, swelling, pain and overall irritation of her skin. It also helped prevent new bumps from forming like they had been over the last several weeks. Try this. You will not be disappointed. Once it absorbs into the skin, don’t forget your moisturizer! Even oilier skin types will have dryness if you skip moisturizer after applying Persa-gel 10. Also, don’t be fooled by the name. They call it a gel, but it is very much a cream. It applies so nicely on the skin and glides on very easily. Can even be used on chest and back if you suffer from body acne as well. Go buy this product right now. You will not be disappointed.

Be gentle & have patience.

This worked for me in moderation. Because the dosage is 5 times the normal amount know that it can cause adverse reactions. For those who purchased this for preteens, fair & sensitive skin, or expected results after one or two applications - your expectations were illogical. Rethink the strength & who is using it then try a more conservative approach w/ 2%, every other day or every 3-4 days. Use a dot of product & gently massage in. Be gentle on skin & don’t be rough with a towel when drying after showers or face washing. I’ve used 2% for years off & on & this dosage as well. Patience is important along with gentle treatment of your complexion. Good luck!

Ive had pretty severe acne for all my teen years, i tried lots of things, and found Benzoyl peroxide to be the only thing that really clears my skin up, this is a very strong and potent version, i would start with %2.5 potency and work up to this, or you could use this on areas other than your face where the skin isnt as delicate, this is a great simple product, just bp without any other crap thrown in, the price is good too. In terms of frequency you can start with every other day and work upto daily or twice daily use, you only need to apply a very small amount. GREAT fast-acting acne spot treatment!!

I suffer from intermittent acne that can range anywhere from mild to severe, deep, and cystic. This spot treatment is perfect for treating breakouts (QUICKLY) especially if you catch it early!! I've always bought the generic version of this product and I am thoroughly impressed by the real deal. There truly is a difference. The Persa-Gel 10 applies and absorbs easily and is very effective. The generics I've tried are difficult to apply and take forever to absorb (if it ever does). I especially love that it is fragrance free as I prefer my skincare products (especially those that aren't rinsed off immediately)to be as "clean" as possible and definitely free of fragrance. Two thumbs up!

Strong formula

I have been prone to occasional breakouts along my jawline, neck and sometimes even the sides of my face. These usually come during times of stress and the pimples are those big ugly ones that can actually hurt. Recently I had the worst of these breakouts for some time and I rec'ed this product. I probably over did it, using the cream liberally on the affected areas twice a day. Amazingly, within two days, in some cases just one day, the worst of the pimples had completely dried up and disappeared and the newer ones too were almost gone. It's almost as if the product burned them right off. That's the good news. The not-so-good news is that the areas where these ugly pimples had disappeared was pretty red and sore. Works Great for my skin bumps

Hello! I've tried many acne products, (which few end up working for me in the process) and this product treats my acne really well! It's really good for stubborn pimples, blackheads, bumps that just won't go away. It has benzedoyl peroxide which for me really helps.I leave mine on overnight and then wash it off in the morning. Just from using, in a couple of weeks, most of my acne was gone. I see a lot of people commenting about how the product dries out your skin. And YES it does but that's part of the process; DRYING OUT THE PIMPLES. You are not supposed to leave it on, you wash it off after use.
