I purchased a Hywood 3+ a couple of weeks ago, this club has been a game changer for me.I have never been able to hit a #3 or 5 wood properly, this club can be used off the tee or the fairway.Recently retired, I will be replacing my old clubs in thefuture and I will consider Halo Hywood/Hybrids again.I never considered Cleveland previously.Great service from golfbox, delivered to regional Vic. less than 3 days from ordering.

I purchased the 3+ version, Reg flex, and I think this is a great option if you need more distance from the fairway or the tee. Easy to hit and consistent. For me (and everyone is different) the issue was it was ballooning on me. I also have the new Cleveland hybrids (21 and 24) and I hit the 21 further than this club. You can order this club with other shaft options but for me that is a gamble and I think you need to be able to try out those options to see what would work best for you. I was not happy to return this club and go back to a 5 wood. If Cleveland decides to update this club to allow you to swap out the shaft like other brands then I will definitely try this club again. I would still recommend trying this club to see if it would be a good fit for you.

I can't it long irons for anything so I've been exploring hybrid options. I have a TaylorMade SIM 2 3-wood and a Callaway Rogue 4-hybrid.I struggle hitting the 4-hybrid especially in the rough and the 3-wood is only good off the tee or the fairway. I can get about 150-160 yards with the 3-wood.I got the Hywood to give me distance off the tee, the fairway or the rough, and it performs! When I hit it pure, I've sent it 170 yards. Mis-hits don't go as far but I've still managed 140-150 yards and I more than happy with that. This has become my favorite club.

I was given a 3+ Hy-wood and admittedly, the long part of my game is one I'm constantly tinkering with. It's hard to find the right combination of a good tee club that can also be great for hitting into the green (iykyk). The Hy-wood might take a minute to get used to aesthetically, but I promise after one swing, you won't care what it looks like. This thing just works. Off the tee, it's powerful and has a great, flat ball flight. Off the deck, it's very easy to hit and I have no problem getting enough height to stop it on the green. The ONLY thing that I would change is putting a heavier shaft in it. Even though I'm not exactly the target market for this club, if the shaft were just a bit heavier, I could confidently say that my long-game tinkering is done.
While I love the Cleveland Launcher Hybrids I have, my expectation that this would be as easy to hit came up short. It's just way too heavy. I'm not super strong either. I can hit a fairway 3 wood maybe 200yrds. This club was much heavier than my Taylormade 3 wood and was bigger. The only thing I could consider it for would be driving, but I already have a driver I love.
The 3+ Hy-wood is easy to hit, and performs well from fairways, rough, and bunkers. It's very forgiving, as off-center hits still produce acceptable results. Ball flight is higher than my previous 3-hybrid, and 20+ yards longer. I've taken both my 3-wood and 3-hybrid out of my bag in favor of this club. I was skeptical when I ordered this club, but now I love it.
A well struck ball provides feedback - sound, feel, ball flight, and results.I found that I needed to focus on the club face being perpendicular to my target line vs. the way the icon on the top of the club points. Once I did this I had great results with this club and also with the two new 2024 Hy-Woods I have and I highly recommend those as well.I am a senior golfer and was having trouble with fairways woods, and I find the Hy-Woods to be the perfect compromise. Highly recommend the 2024 Cleveland hybrid and Hy-Wood offerings.
I am 65 yrs old losing distance due to age. I purchased the #4 Halo XL Hy-wood to bridge distance between 3 Iron and 3 fairway metal. This is a very nice addition to my bag, increasing Green in regulation opportunities. I can't be happier with the overall performance. Try this club you will not be disappointed.
After reading the reviews the only concerning drawback stated was that the shaft felt to light so I ordered a custom build 3+ with a 65g reg flex shaft. Have only played 2 rounds with it but so far have loved it. A good strike feels smooth and solid with a nice "tink" sound. I Have always struggled with woods and really anything between my driver and my 5 iron. I already feel like I can pull this club out of the bag with confidence wether hitting off a tee or the deck. So far a solid strike is getting me an average of 220y with just a slight drop off on off center hits.Unfortunately I live in an area that I would have had to drive several hours to try this club at a retailer so I had to guess as to what I would like. I ordered a 65g regular flex mid launch/spin ... I am still getting good carry, ball height and overall distance but am considering tweaking the shaft weight and launch to try to find that perfect combo for my swing.Overall I am very happy with the purchase and it has greatly improved my confidence when facing a 200+ yard shot.
Always had a hard time hitting a fairway wood. Was always very inconsistent. Needed a consistent club for long distance. Took a chance on this Haywood. Payed with it a couple of rounds and the club is very forgiving. Long and good dispersion. Even on mis hits, the ball was never out of play and I could accept the misses. After years of trying different fw woods, I found my perfect club.Very happy with the built quality.Used their custom stock kbs graphite shaft.
