I do like how there are 5 grams of fiber, although it comes from chicory fiber, which can upset some peoples' stomachs. It's not the most filling snack out there, but would pair nicely with some healthy fats to make it more satiating, as well as additional protein in the form of yogurt or another protein source. I can generally get a 12-pack for around $15 on Amazon, which is pretty affordable as far as energy bars go, and they'll occasionally go on sale at my local Costco for around $1 a bar! Overall, this definitely isn't a protein bar, nor is it that "healthy" of an option, but I think that this is a great energy-packed snack that's great for an on-the-go sort of meal, and it's one of the few bars out there that's still relatively cheap - this is one of the best Clif Bar flavors, and I'll continue to buy it for a convenient snack!

Chocolate flavour energy bar at the right size and shape for running & cycling, and being heat-stable

Clif-Bar Energy bar range is always been my favourite due to its taste. Most importantly, it's a energy-dense bar for its dimension (68 g a piece, opposed to 35-50 g/piece from competitor brands) which fits nicely in food/gel pockets in trail and ultra running vests and back pockets in cycling jersey.On the top of great points I mentioned above, chocolate flavours in Clif-Bar energy bar range are heat-stable - bars will not turn into brown puddle upon extended exposure to heat and sunlight, thus making in very messy to eat on the go. In the flip side, don't expect you'll be spoiled with chocolate chips for this particular flavour.

My go-to breakfast bar

I often will eat one of these when I need a quick power breakfast. They have just enough blueberry taste to satisfy my craving for a muffin, and are just as filling, but don't pack nearly the same number of calories (which is a good thing). I pair one of these bars with a cold glass of water, and it's the perfect combination to get me going in the morning. I'm also happy the bar doesn't contain any caffeine. They always arrive fresh, too, with the expiration dates several months away. I've tried some of the less expensive energy bars, but always return to Clif for their taste and quality.

Simple, tasty fuel

Clif bar has really come around. They no longer taste like the hard blocks that I remember from my past. Now filled with organic, clean ingredients and plenty of carbs (and a little protein) to enjoy pre workout or exercise if I don’t feel like eating a meal. They’re great on the go - energy in a small package and tasty to boot!Peanut butter is my favorite flavor but I’ll take just about any of them.

These are awful and taste sour

I tried a Chocolate Chip Clif Bar for the first time a few weeks ago. It was weirdly sour, and I thought maybe it was just a bad one. I tried another today, and it's exactly the same. I actually forgot I was eating a chocolate chip bar and inadvertently thought and had convinced myself it was a raisin bar of some kind until I looked down at the label and remembered that it was actually chocolate. Unsure of why they taste this way, but it doesn't taste anything like chocolate, despite unsweetened chocolate being in the ingredient list. Either something went bad, or Clif is hiding wizards who can somehow reduce all of the qualities that make chocolate taste absolutely disgusting. Either way, blech. Will not eat again.

Used to be great- won't ever buy again

I loved Clif Bars. They used to taste great, were healthy, and reasonably priced. ALL of that is history. As mentioned by others, they now have a horrible taste. Describing them as sour may be close but even that's generous. Have you ever had a perscription capsule open and the powder tastes strangely chemical? That's probably a better description for their "new and improved" bars. I used to always have them in the house. They were a staple. I purchased another box after throwing out one large family sized box with the new taste. No different. They're now horrible. I will never purchase them again.

Was not good

I have had this Clif Bar variety in recent years and it was quite good. I bought a handful of them from The Feed this year and I have to say, this product from Clif Bar supports my feeling that Clif has declined significantly in quality over the past few years.When I opened the first one, I was taken aback at the bar presenting as just a plain burnt orange blob of processed oats. I remember this bar having an icing on it in the past so I thought maybe I just received a one-off bad-product bar. Well, turned out that every bar I received was the same bland experience. I'm disappointed that a Clif Bar that I used to look forward to each fall is now not even worth giving a second thought.

I PURCHASED 5 DIFFERENT BOXES OF TWELVE AND THE BAG WITH MULTIPLE FLAVORS IN IT. Love them all... I eat one every morning with my yogurt. Keeps me full until dinner time and I don't need any snacks before bedtime.My favorites are Chocolate Mint and the pumpkin spice. Then Chocolate Brownies, followed by Chocolate Chip.....I LOVE MY CLIF BARS>I really loved the Duo's that you don't seem to have any longer. Hope you get them again in the near future.
