This is a pretty good fragrances. I mainly smell mandarin orange, lime, jasmine, slight rose, some cedar, and musk. It’s great for the summer. The performance for me is below average about 4 hours. It projects for maybe an hour. Then more of a skin scent, people will still smell it but not as strong. It’s not a favorite of mine, but it smells nice. I do notice women seem to compliment this one. So I guess that’s where the name comes in. Compliments make you HAPPY! Give it a try.

When my husband asked me what I wanted for Christmas a few months ago, I told him a higher end perfume which I never have invested in. I immediately thought of Amarige. This was my mommas favorite when I was little and it smelled so heavenly, even more so after it warmed on her skin. Even at 79 years old, I wanted a spritz, although this is definitely a sophisticated scent. It smells just as I remember. It has SO much complexity and depth that makes it so unique I have only heard of 13 perfumes remotely comparable to this. It starts off strong and spicy, with the peach and plum notes most prominent to my nose, drawing you in to discover more. The sweetness isnt intense or syrupy, but very authentic and natural. The longevity, projection, and silage are better than a lot of EDPs Ive tried. Two sprays on your skin is all you need to last all day or a long night out. On your clothes, 12 sprays will last until you wash them. Amarige is a woman who is feminine and sophisticated. She is confident and classy in a gentle, effortless way. She is sexy and desirable, worth pursuing and waiting for. Since perfume is very personal and subjective, especially a very unique perfume, its inevitable this is a love it or hate it fragrance. However, theres a reason why its still a beloved perfume 30 years after it launched, making it a timeless classic I recommend any woman should try.

I picked up a bottle of this cologne when it was first launched in 2009. At the time, I was pretty new to the world of cologne, and like any collegeaged kid I thought the bottle looked really cool. The initial spraying smelled nice and I decided to make the purchase.Today, about two years later, I have a hard time wearing the stuff. Interestingly enough, Only the Brave has good longevity, usually lasting a full day with only two or three sprays at pulse points. It also has good sillage as well, as it projects nicely even in winter weather. Moreover, I actually do get complimented on this fragrance whenever I am brave enough to wear it.I cant help but feel that the smell is overall too generic and synthetic though, and nothing really stands out to me. To be perfectly honest, I feel a lot younger wearing this, and I dont mean in the good Im 35 and feel 25 way but in the bad Im 25 and feel 15 way. In that sense, I feel I also should be wearing a pair of very baggy jeans, and a popped collar on my polo shirt while wearing this fragrance as I parade around high school after bathing in entirely too much of it.I dont hate Only the Brave, I just dont much care for it anymore now that Ive sampled and owned so much cologne over the years and found things that really do stand out and that I quite enjoy. I can still wear it, and I sometimes do, but I cant help but feel there is much better out there. Even within the Diesel house, both Fuel For Life Plus Plus have places and uses in my collection. Only the Brave doesnt so much anymore.Though, I still think the bottle is cool.

First of all, this is a masculine scent but absolutely can be worn by women as a fresh summery scent when you don't want to smell like a cake pop or classic floral. It's a great first fragrance for young men. It is better than light blue imo. I am a Happy in Bloom girl and faithful Clinique customer. I don't prefer the other Happys except for these two. This is the one perfume I got for my man and still the only perfume he wears. For a men's fragrance, it's sweet but in the smoothest clean citrusy way you can imagine, with a masculine, aquatic, herbal twist in the background. It is not a bitter, harsh citrus. It is perfect for a beach vacation or a trip across a California or Tuscan countryside. It just gives me a summer breeze carrying citrus blooms and green. It is perfect for a beach vacation or a trip across a California or Tuscan countryside. It just gives me a summer breeze carrying citrus blooms and green. It's a light masculine scent that is complimentary to a man's skin chemistry, not overpowering to it with herbs and musty metallics, leathers & spices like most cologne. Depending on chemistry and activity level, it has moderate longevity and intimate to moderate sillage. This will make you want to get close to smell him. It's not a migraine inducer but a love inducer especially for someone you already love. The perfect gift for any special man in your life. I can't see anyone disliking this, but some may prefer heavier, more manly scents. Lastly it is probably one of the most affordable mid-grade perfumes on the market.
I purchased the Clinique Happy 3.4 fl oz bottle and even had next day shipping as I was excited to be reunited with a fragrance that was familiar and that I loved growing up. I received it today and tried it. It smells good and familiar but fades extremely fast almost like it is watered down. The bottle also felt very cheap, although it looked the same it was different. Any way I also thought I was getting the eau de parfum and ended up with the toilette. Ive read reviews where the customer care has stated it was parfum but it was not in this case as it was clearly stated on the outside of the box. I am very disappointed, even more so that I paid for next day to get a product that is not going to be any good for me. An expensive airfreshner is what I got. Hope this ... MoreI purchased the Clinique Happy 3.4 fl oz bottle and even had next day shipping as I was excited to be reunited with a fragrance that was familiar and that I loved growing up.
