It feels SO good on your skin. Luxurious texture (which I usually don’t care about, but in this case it was such a fantastic experience), it doesn’t leave a residue, it isn’t heavy, its fragrance-free, it doesn’t pill, and my skin absolutely loved it. It’s expensive, but it lasts. It truly is worth the money. You don’t need to use much product at all. My skin is really sensitive and loves this product. I genuinely recommend Moisture Surge and will continue to use it.

I expected it to be too lightweight to actually moisturize my face and after using Clarifying Lotion 2–3, my skin felt tight, super dry and my face needed some LOVE. What happened was my skin met Moisture Surge and it fell in love. Not only does this super light quasi-gel moisturizer feel amazeballs to your skin, (it’s super great to use before starting your makeup routine) it some serious hydrating power that keeps you’re skin feeling happy, hydrated and it’s not going to cause a break out or clog up your pores either! Your skin feels good like I went to the spa good when using this product after an exfoliating, clarifying lotion. It will sink right into your skin and it doesn’t linger on the surface so you can start your going about makeup sooner than a lot of other moisturizers. spent 32-33/34 Christmas seasons together and man my grandma had her skincare routine and her serious make up routine done every day of the week, rain or shine, even if she wasn’t leaving the house, even if she was going to get in the pool…she was serious about her anti-aging products, sunscreen was her ride or die along with make up remover/cleanser because you NEVER sleep with your makeup still on and you must protect your skin from UV rays (She would show me a wrinkle and say it was because she didn’t use sunscreen when she was younger). She was beautiful and I miss her dearly but I know that she was in an uninhabitable body, in an uninhabitable environment and in an uninhabitable state of time period. While at the nursing home she contracted Covid and almost died, my mother and I thought she was but she’s a, she was a tough ol’ broad apparently. So I am in love with this hydrator. I got this as a free sample from Clinique, and have been using it religiously in my night and morning routines. I live in Canada so winters are harsh and hydration is a must. The first time I tried it I had it on for 16 hours and still felt the gelatinous like substance when removing at night. I did not feel like my skin was dry at all during the day and it had a beautiful glossy glow to it. The cream is lightweight, slight peach tint to it, goes on the cheeks clear and absorbs really fast into the skin, so I layer it under sunscreen for daytime. It is gel-like and watery, has a cooling sensation as it goes on the skin so I imagine it feels wonderful on burns or broken skin, especially since it has aloe as an ingredient! I'm not sure if it hydrates for 100hours because I re-apply every 16 hours or so as I cleanse my face in between and I just love the sensation as it goes on my skin. I also don't find it overly sticky as with some other brands which is a big plus, nor does it feels thick and heavy and occlusive which would cause breakouts on my face. So far so good, I am loving this hydrator!

One of the benefits of fermentation is that it breaks apart larger molecules into smaller ones, making them more easily absorbed into skin. Made with lactobacillus, activated aloe water, and responsibly sourced and certified organic aloe extract powder, this nutrient-rich ingredient helps skin retain moisture. Hyaluronic acid: This moisture-binding ingredient helps create a “moisture reservoir” for ideal hydration. Our formula is expertly blended with two different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid. Other key ingredients include: Activated aloe water: Pure water is infused with aloe barbadensis leaf extract, then supercharged to hold both positive and negative ionic charges. Auto-Replenishing Technology: Using activated aloe water and caffeine, it helps trigger skin’s own rehydration system. Blend of vitamins C and E: Helps provide antioxidant protection against daily dehydrators.

This gel cream avoids all of that whilst giving my skin the best natural how and hydration of its life although I know I shouldn’t I can’t stop touching my skin hours after use it feels as though I’ve just freshly applied it, day and night my skin feels so comfortable, hydrated and moisturised with no shine, breakouts or feeling uncomfortable. I can’t wait to continue using this and see what future results my skin achieves, suitable for all skin types I would recommend this to everyone.

It would seem some sadistic person at Clinique literally designed this product to spill to pad thier profit margins. I have thus far lost about 50% of my jar to the floor, the table, and my friend's dress and have actually applied about 2% of it to my face. I am not kidding when I say that they somehow managed to create a finish on this thing that is the likely one of the slipperiest substances known to mankind. I tried to contact the company about this but their message button on the support page is broken.

Felt luscious but caused major breakout

Was very keen to try this product as it is supposedly suitable for sensitive skin and is fragrance free and contains aloe which love and I use daily on my face. Unfortunately I discovered it contains silicone but did try it regardless and after using for 3 days it caused a massive outbreak of painful pustules on my face so I stopped using it. I did notice that it felt luscious on my face directly after application however I suspect the silicone content has a lot to do with that, I wouldn't say it's a 100hr auto replenishing hydrate product, within a few hours my face felt like I needed to apply moisturiser again. When I use my low cost no nasties moisturiser I don't need to apply more throughout the day but I felt I needed to with this product - skin actually felt ... MoreWas very keen to try this product as it is supposedly suitable for sensitive skin and is fragrance free and contains aloe which love and I use daily on my face. I do wonder if this is why I had a flare up because my skin couldn't breathe. Not sure. It's a good product but it's not suited to my sensitive skin.

Lightweight moisturizer!

I received a free sample of this product in exchange for an honest review. I am in my late twenties, with combination skin, and suffer from random acne breakouts (mask wearing, hormones, etc.), it’s also worth noting that I reside on the east coast of Canada, as our weather plays a fair sized part in my review. I struggle to find a moisturizer that gives me the feeling of being moisturized without being greasy. Normally, in the winter months, it’s damp and cold, so I opt for a heavier moisturizer (think Belif’s “bomb” line), and when I need something a bit lighter (but equally as quenching) I reach for something along the lines of PTR’s aqua cloud line. This combination usually works wonders for my skin, but truthfully it’s a little too much in our hot and humid ... MoreI received a free sample of this product in exchange for an honest review. This combination usually works wonders for my skin, but truthfully it’s a little too much in our hot and humid summers (those humectants create a slip and slide!). I’ve found a quality “summer” moisturizer in the Glow Recipe’s oil-free moisturizer, but the truth is it’s still not always enough for my dry areas (but excellent for my oily areas!) for all day wear. Now, with Clinique’s sample I was able to try every day for 7 days (not changing anything else in my skincare routine). This moisturizer is a lightweight gel, and it absorbs very, very quickly into the skin, there is no residue or shininess left behind, it’s almost a “matte” finish. Your skin feels silky smooth and looks great (opposite of the “high gloss” look of Glow’s moisturizer). This moisturizer didn’t break me out, and allowed me to layer products with ease (serums, sunscreen, etc.) and no piling, which was a great bonus. Where it fell short for me, was towards the end of the day (12hrs+) I could see some dry areas. My skin still felt silky smooth, but it didn’t have the hydration punch I was hoping for the length of time it claimed. I will be purchasing and adding it to my summer bag, as it is a quality moisturizer, but I have realistic expectations for the length of wear with the product now. If your skin is like mine, you should definitely try this!

I will be honest, I would have never picked out this product for myself if it wasn't for my mom letting me try it. We went out of town to a place with very dry air and my normal moisturizer was not cutting it. I ended up using all of the moisturizer that I packed within the first couple of days and my skin was left so tight from the dryness. My mom let me use her moisturizer and I was shocked at how well it worked on my skin. I have really sensitive skin, to the point that even Cetaphil face products will break me out, but I have eczema, so leaving my skin dry was just not an option. I wished for the best and tried this product and once we got back, I knew I had to buy myself my own jar. The moisturizer has a bouncy gel cream-like feel, that seeps into your skin and provides moisture for a while. I would say it's a more expensive and longer-lasting version of the Neutrogena Hydro Boost. The product feels amazing, doesn't have a strong artificial scent, and leaves your skin dewy and almost glass-like.

Not very moisture surge-y

I tend to bounce around between drugstore brands and more 'upscale' brands. I keep thinking some of the more popular or more expensive brands must be worth the hype. I recently have been using Dr Jart+ Cicapair cream and it feels wonderful on my red, burning winter skin. Ages ago I tried the yellow Clinique face cream and wasn't impressed, but decided to give their Moisture Surge 100H cream a try. It left my face feeling dry and rough and once it was completely dry, I had to add the Dr Jart cream on top. It didn't cause my sensitive skin to blush, flush or break out, and I did love to cool gel texture, but it is definitely not surging or moisturizing for me. Sadly, my husband mistakenly tossed the packaging and I have no receipt or I'd return it. I've had better ... MoreI tend to bounce around between drugstore brands and more 'upscale' brands. I'm in my mid 40s and have redness prone skin that is dry in winter/fall and oily in summer/spring, so I may give it a shot again when the days are warmer, since it's an extremely light feeling moisturizer.
