This game is amazing and a very nice way to spend some quality time with friends and family. This game allows us to think and make assumptions that matters while playing.A murder mystery game is something new and noting down each piece of information available on the given piece of paper. It is very easy to understand and even a beginner has the chance to win at this game.It gave me detective feels and made me brainstorm as much as possible. It was a wonderful game and definitely worth the price.

Clue is a great family game or group game where each person must use their rational skills and deduce who has committed the alleged crime of the game. All by chance and allows for a number of variable scenario outcomes depending on number of players per game.Younger children rather enjoy the challenge, the make-believe plot and role play involved in the game.Small pieces are used in this game and need to be kept out of reach of toddlers so they do not swallow or choke on loose pieces. Although as a little kid I thought they were perfect for my Barbie dolls hahaIf you find this game no longer challenging enough or have a great love for Sherlock Holmes... there is a vintage game that is occassionally available titled: 221B Baker Street. 1. The game came in a sturdy box. It was packaged well for transport and the gameboard is very sturdy and heavy enough it lies completely flat and stable when opened. Rare these days. 2. The tokens, cards, and dice nice quality and should last with a lot of use. 3. The rule of play is much simpler than classic clue had while kids growing up (still have that game) but wanted a new one for grandkids. -comes with "clue cards" where people have to put card down in front of them for all to see or some such action that is a free show of cards which takes out a big chunk of difficulty. Not going to take it easy on them forever and they don't have to be used. -has 2 dice to roll each turn. Original had 1 if I'm remembering correctly and all I see in that box. Again, will deal with it because can take 1 away when get better at play. Both die have the magnifying glass emblem on 1 square that allows for picking a clue card and if roll 2, then can pick up 2 clue cards. But if decide not using them, the magnifying glass can count as a 1. **only reason taking time to write this review is that I was totally in awe at the amazing quality of this game for such a low price. Higher priced games don't have as good of quality. Great buy if want a gentler game. Great buy if a merciless grandma who plays to compete and win since the rules and cards that make this game easier don't have to be used to play.

Cluedo is a murder mystery game. My 11-year-old loves to play it whereas my 7-year-old isn't interested. (He's more of a snakes and ladder kinda guy.) The board is set out like a house floor plan with nine different rooms. You have to roll the dice and make your way around the house to get to the room you want to suggest as the place of the murder. There are six different characters and six weapons. These are all placed on the board. There are cards corresponding to all the rooms, characters and weapons. One from each category is selected at random and placed in a wallet in the middle of the board. These are the murder conditions. The rest of the cards are divided equally between the players. The aim of the game is to figure out who committed the murder, in what ... MoreCluedo is a murder mystery game. My 11-year-old loves to play it whereas my 7-year-old isn't interested. Depending on the cards you are dealt and the suggestions you make, the game can be short or very long. I would say it's suitable for older children and adults. It's suggested for ages eight and over for 2-6 players. It's a very enjoyable game for family game night.
Amazing and Fun!I came across this item by accident. I mean I'm a huge Clue fan and buy any official board game that Hasbro makes. But this one did not come up on my normal search. I stumbled across it and instantly added it to my shopping cart and bought it. The magic mirror is basically a blank until you push the button and a light inside illuminates the 3 cards inside revealing whodunit. The playing pieces are not little small nubs but rather human shaped in their respective characters. The board is the same as the 2017 version with Dr. Orchid. All in all the magic mirror is a nice touch and I look forward to Hasbro making more versions of Clue. The other reviewer is 100% wrong. Getting tired with the crappy reviews. Leave it alone!Hasbro if you're listening: ... MoreAmazing and Fun!I came across this item by accident. I mean I'm a huge Clue fan and buy any official board game that Hasbro makes. I luvvv this game! We actually have a Simpson's version of this that is about a decade old but my Irish boyfriend also bought me a copy of it to have on his side of the pond too. This game is best for an older kid since it does take some reasoning skills. Also, misleading the other players with false leads is always a fun play!
I have loved this board game since I was a little girl. It is what led to my love of murder mystery novels and movies. Was it Miss Scarlet in the Library with the Candlestick? It's wonderful how it makes you use your mind to deduce the answers from the clues that you are given. I have had so many versions of the game over the years, from the simple children's version, to the standard version, to the electronic version to the luxury version. It is not only a great way to spend a family game night but it's excellent for a party game night with friends, cocktails and snacks. My favorite board game ever.
The Clue Board game is simply must. Let me repeat its a "staple" to every families game set especially at times like this where we are at home. The game is a classic. If you're unfamiliar with game play its still easy enough to dive into and follow the instructions as you go. I've owned a set for over 2 years and the cards have quite of bit of wear so I recommend card sleeves. Also the game pieces (ie weapons) are very small so I don't recommend playing on thick carpet. You'll want to keep a zip lock bag for storing everything afterwards. There is one consumable with this game which is a small sheet of paper for each player to track their investigation. We've played several times and fortunately have not ran out but if we ever get that point, we'll use regular ... MoreThe Clue Board game is simply must. We experimented with 2 players but 3 or more is better. As an adult I still enjoy playing the game. It has gotten more interesting we've become more experienced and attempt to be more competitive. I hope you give it a try if you have not tried.
Clue is a classic whodonit game that I was pleased to order with early Black Friday savings. It will make the perfect gift for the mystery game lover in my life. The order arrived with great speed and was delivered to my door in perfect condition. What a deal! You can't go wrong if you're trying to stretch your dollars.
Except for one character being renamed, this is the same Clue game as always. They've added some new cards and rules that are supposedly "optional" but it seems like the game is really designed for you to use them. Those new rules drastically increase the influence of luck and chance in the game, while also speeding it up. No doubt that speed was the reason they came up with this idea because the original game, with nothing but gradual revelations of clues, takes much longer. This version basically dumps clues in your lap much faster than if you were just methodically playing the old way.We tried it once with the new rules and it was basically just okay. It is very frustrating trying to navigate the board with dice and having to land exactly on your target spots. ... MoreExcept for one character being renamed, this is the same Clue game as always. It is very frustrating trying to navigate the board with dice and having to land exactly on your target spots. This is part of what slows it down. In any case that's the same as the original and we have not yet tried the game again with the original rules.Bottom line, if you want to get the same basic game from decades ago, this is pretty much it in concept and design. When shopping I found this version to be far more available than any of those retro versions. This one gives you the option of the new rules, which I guess some people might prefer.Clue is a unique game, worth trying for people wanting to expand the game shelf. I'd probably rate the basic game 4 stars but took one off here because the new rules do not make it any better in my view, and they're hard to avoid using.
