Coach Dreams Sunset 90ml EDP

When I first got this voxbox, the description was lovely (hats off to whoever wrote the copy on that! Wow!) so I had high expectations. First, the packaging was stunning (pictured). I literally want to keep the box because it’s so pretty. The bottle is even prettier and I love that I have something to decorate the hutch of my new desk. Then I smelled it. I exclaimed to my husband, “this smells like class. But youthful class.” He smelled it and agreed with me. There’s the Chanel No. 5 grandma kind of class, and then this perfume, which perfectly exemplifies young, fresh, and classy. The first thing I noticed (and I had to really think hard since the blend was so seamless it was difficult to piece apart the individual components) was a slight fruity note, but the pear mixed with the bergamot was such a delightful blend that it didn’t smell quite like one or the other, but something altogether new and elevated. Then there were the floral undertones that blended with the fruity to create something slightly sweet. The undertones of jasmine and vanilla really rounded out the scent for me. Overall it’s exquisite and my husband told me it’s his favorite scent I have (and we both know I have too many!) I recommend this perfume to anyone who wants to smell like a million dollars, and to be reminded of a fancy resort in a far flung location at sunset (with those scented candles in full flame) on the beach dressed in white with a glass of white wine. You’ll know what I mean when you smell it. When I put it on I felt like I was on an expensive beach vacation, and I felt classy and put together. It is a very feminine smell, which I loved. I think it’s the kind of perfume you spray before going to the office so that those around you see you as someone who knows what they’re doing and is confident, classy, and put together (it also reminds you of the vacation you’re working so hard for). I would recommend it for the office, but also a date night in your favorite dress, your honeymoon, a dinner at a nice restaurant with designer jeans, a white blazer, and a cute top, and maybe even a trip to your parents’ or in laws’ if you want to give off the impression that you “made it”. It may also be worth noting that the smell lasted longer than some of my other perfumes without being overpowering. Very impressive, Coach! Thank you for the honour of trying this. I’m okay with the top and possibly prefer it since you don’t need to remove a lid to spray the perfume on, especially in a hurry and you forget to put the lid back on or it gets lost somewhere. The spray top is a gold plastic flower. I don’t mind the plastic top since I didn’t pay for the perfume, but something a little sturdier may be better for someone who will pay +$100 for a nice perfume. There’s this little leather piece where the top connects to the perfume bottle. I would think it’s because Coach is a leather goods brand. I think it’s okay, maybe a little more gold colored or nice light orange would look good too. The box the perfume came in looks like it holds the perfume well and only wiggles a little bit. Easy to remove from the box. I like the glitter on the box, kinda girly. The side design of the box that has little hearts, shooting stars, flowers, planets and possibly clouds makes me think this product is for someone young or trying to be in theme with the dreams and sunset name of the perfume. I would probably just leave it blank if it’s for a more mature client. Overall cute design

This perfume was a lovely experience from beginning to end. The packaging just screams fun and over the top with the huge blocks of soft pink glitter. The bottle itself is so beautiful, with it's soft cherry blossom ombre, nice weight and interesting dispenser in the floral top, this is a very stand out bottle that would look great on any vanity or dresser. The spray atomizes in a nice cloud of perfume, you really only need one spritz as I found that I had a harder time spraying on pulse points, you would be better off spraying a little cloud and walking through it. The only thing I disliked about this perfume is that with how large the spray throw is, the scent is initially pretty overwhelming and sweet when first applied. It's as though every note in the fragrance is fighting each other. But as it dried down, it was a soft (but still very much noticeable) floral vanilla. I know that vanilla can be somewhat divisive, but I did not find this scent to be too gourmand in its vanilla, it provided more depth rather than a cloyingly sweet punch to the olfactory system. I have no issues with the perfume itself, but I do think that ultimately it's not something I would purchase for myself, as the scent is a little too youthful and has a stronger throw than I would prefer. I don't regret giving it a try though, this would be great for anyone who wants a perfume with a strong throw with lots of floral and sweet notes.

Two pretty best friends 🌵🏜 I love Dreams! It reminds me of Palm Springs, Coachella and the desert air. It’s such a beautiful floral earthy fragrance. I’ve never smelled anything else like it in the designer fragrance community. You need it in your collection. Dreams Sunset is a pretty sweet citrus floral. The fragrance matches the bottle. This is my first Coach perfume, but definitely won't be my last! First off, the packaging is stunning -- it's the perfect addition to my vanity. The ombre sunset style shading on the component adds to the overall experience, and the flower styled top is actually the sprayer! The only downside is there's no lid, so if you're used to popping lids off beforehand like me, you will have to restrain yourself from pulling the top off. It's not a major problem, just something to remember. As far as the actual scent goes, it's very sweet, creamy, and slightly airy. It really reminds me of YSL Libre EDT and Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Glace which both have similar undertones and similar scent profile. The scent lingers for around 5 hours so longevity is pretty good, but I don't mind reapplying after so long either. Overall, I really enjoy this fragrance! It screams Summer nights, and would be perfect for early fall as well. It could easily be an every day type of fragrance too due to it's airy, non-offensive nature. While I do think the bottle is beautiful and the spray nozzle adds a really perfect feminine touch by being a flower, I have noticed that when you press down to spray, it very easily turns and will spray in a different direction than you intended. I’ve not had this problem with other perfumes. And while it is annoying, it definitely is not annoying enough to keep me from using and loving this perfume!

Pretty

This is one of those perfumes that smell better with time. On the initial spray it's summery floral.. nothing too special .. to me. but the dry down, or possibly how it mixed with my skin, is what I absolutely love. It becomes really soft, warm, powdery and just a little hint of flowers. I love that it's not too sweet but also not mature. There's a steady balance. It's a grown sophisticated scent. I'm a sucker for pretty packaging too and this bottle is beautiful. I'm thinking about purchasing a bigger bottle
