Love it! I bought this as a work and everyday bag and am so happy with it. The shape is sturdy and doesn’t slouch over. I can put a 16” laptop in it comfortably and still have plenty of room for my other items. I got the deep red and am so happy with the color, I wanted something other than black or brown and felt this was a great shade. I couldn’t be happier! If you’re like me, this is a great work bag for someone who doesn’t like on overly structured purse. This is the perfect balance of that sleek and slouchy feel & look.

There are a lot of things I love about this bag: it's big, it's impressively lightweight, it's simple, and it's Coach. I knew as soon as I saw it that I would love it. It's easy to personalize with the two little d-rings that Coach has placed on it - genius! It has one button snap pocket along the back wall, and the bag itself closes via a secure magnetic snap. Is it a cavernous bag to dig into? Yep. Do I care? Nope. I carry only the bare essentials no matter what size bag I have. For me, it's about style more than practicality, although this bag is practical if you're looking to carry more than just the bare essentials. Overall: highly recommend. Coach hit it out of the park with this one.
I bought this bag (in Black) as it is quite similar in silhouette to a designer bag (LV Low Key Hobo) but at a fraction of the cost. The problem is I had seen the designer bag IRL. The Brooklyn is nice, but really pales in comparison. But, that is to be expected. The leather is okay, but feels kinda flimsy. The bag will collapse without a bag liner. The lining is not suede. What is it? Hard to say. Scratchy icky feel. For me, this is what I dislike the most about the bag. The bag has the 1941 heat stamp. But, I am not sure it qualifies for the past 1941 quality. It really is just a glorified "sack." The saving grace (for me) is that a 13" laptop fits. And, when wearing the bag it does look chic. Hangs and drapes nice. Not bulky. I mean it is okay. I can fit my 15” MacBook Pro perfectly in this bag (start by putting it in vertically and then shift it to sit horizontally in the bottom of the bag). I can also comfortably fit a steel water bottle, lunch box, phone, wallet, keys, makeup, hand sanitizer and more. I will say that the more you fill the bag the less of that cool slouchy look it has. I love that it has a magnetic closure so that I can still quickly and easily access whatever I need. For reference I am 5’1 120lbs and this bag sits on my upper thigh. Finally: A big, lightweight, hobo bag! I. Love. It. It's gorgeous, it's deceptively lightweight, and beautiful in its simplicity. The two little d-ring hooks for the hangtag inside & out: GENIUS. I love being able to customize my bag by hanging chains & charms on it. The bag transitions well from day to night - who doesn't love a big hobo bag? I currently own the maple & lime and am plotting to get more! Fabulous, fabulous, Coach hit it out of the park with this one!

I love my Coach Brooklyn 39 purse. I'm able to put my makeup bag, wallet, phone and still have enough space. The purse does not look bulky when I'm wearing it. I can easilly find my items inside my purse and quickly retrieve them. I also purchased the Brooklyn 39 in brass/ tan because I also think the size and quality is excellent. I love the one shoulder strap because it looks elegant and stays in place on my shoulder. Received many great compliments. I definitely recommend.
