Just received my mollie purse, it was right on time, very nicely packed. The size of the purse even bigger than I was expecting. The reason of the 3 stars is that I was looking for specific blue color which is exact color of the picture, but the pattern and background colors were switched, so it's a dark blue with slightly lighter signature letters, VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Why is your picture deceiving?

Very very upset with this wallet, it hasn't even been there for two years and it's all peeled everywhere, the thread on the outside. When I contacted the store they just said there was nothing they could do. It has little use because it has open spaces and I don't like it very much because if it falls or turns, things come out. I really liked the denim design and color on this bag, great with jeans & a lot more. Been wanting a bag in this color for a while & when saw in this medium size bag I decided to get it once it went on sale. Didn't disappoint. This bag came packaged very well, unlike my last coach I ordered. Styrofoam padding covering all metal pieces as well as handles, strap and entire bag. Also, was packaged very well in a box. Only 2 cons for me in any bag is no outside pocket for phone and also when middle zipper area is not attached at bottom. Very annoying because items go underneath and don't stay put on each side placed. Otherwise I would actually buy several of this bag in different colors because the size is perfect for me. There's a tag on the purse bragging about this. Because of the plastic it gapes open at the top even when empty. The zipper compartment meant to protect your wallet, is a flat pouch in the middle of the purse. This means your wallet will not actually fit in it. There are no pockets for your phone or keys. Because of the plastic material, it will be very difficult to sew on any kind of latch, zipper, flap, magnet, or mechanism to close the purse.There's a problem with plastic: it's noisy. I do have to applaud Coach for achieving the perfect storm of design failure: total absence of several necessary features AND materials that make the design flaws very difficult to correct.I will see what I can do with a glue gun. Before this purse can be usable it needs a phone pocket, a key pocket, a means to keep it closed instead of gaping open to attract every pickpocket in town, and some kind of liner to keep the noisy rattling under control.

I called customer service and explained the issue, they were very understanding and gave me free shipping which I was extremely happy about since online returns cost to ship back. I ordered this handbag in the color "Gold/Taffy". It is an absolutely STUNNING bag! The shipping was fast and my bag was well protected from any possible damage that could've occurred during shipping. I love, love, love the middle zipped pocket. It is perfect as I keep my cards and cash in there (in a COACH wallet of course). Then the two sides (which are separated by the zipped pocket) are perfect for my bigger items. I keep my wallet, water bottle, keys, lotion, hand sanitizer, and lip gloss in there and still have PLENTY of room for other items, if they are needed for the day. Like I said the color is beautiful; it's the most perfect pink color. The leather is a sturdy leather (but not too stiff), not the flappy kind of leather that some handbags are made out ... I just ordered this in black. I have one I purchased in early summer in a coral shade (can't remember the exact color name offhand) that I love so much that I had to have a black one for fall and winter . It is my favorite! Smaller in size but plenty large enough to carry all the essentials. I love that it has 2 side pockets. I keep car keys on one side and my cellphone on the other. That makes it convenient, so much so that I won't buy a purse without an outside pocket anymore, and a huge plus when there are two. A zipper closure in the center compartment means my wallet and anything else important is secure. Great length carry handles, plus a carry strap that is perfect for cross body wear so I can have my hands free for shopping. This is my perfect purse!
I am VERY particular with my bags. I don't like a ton of branding or hardware, very minimal, and I don't like magnets used to close the bag. It's just extra hardware that can get all scratched up. You rarely come across a small tote crossbody in this style without all of that. So when I came across this bag and saw that it didn't have a magnet closure and no hardware on the bottom (feet), I was overjoyed. I bought it so fast and love it so much! I love the top tote style so I can easily access my things.
If it was possible to give this bag a "no star" rating, I would. This is my 5th Coach Bag and probably my last. I ordered the Mollie Tote in Surplus/Black and am very disappointed. The leather itself is of poor quality - two steps up from green cardboard. It is made poorly -- the side seams are stitched up, with the raw seam edge exposed rather than being folded in on itself. The center pocket isn't affixed to the bottom of the bag, so small items easily slide underneath from one side to the other. There is no lining on the outer pockets and the top edge is unfinished - just raw leather. Some of this MAY be reflected in the online pictures, but its very difficult to assess the poor quality of this bag through the pictures. Besides, its Coach, right? They're known ...
