Coach Willow Tote Black

I really needed to get myself together, and I was looking for a bag that would hold my lunch, my devices, and all the essentials I need in my purse. The Willow Tote does all of that beautifully. The divider in the middle is sewn in place, so it truly divides the bottom of the bag, although bulkier items (like my lunch box) can encroach with very little effort. I like the divided space, because my iPad and laptop have the C side of the bag. The zippered compartment, where I keep purse items like comb and lipstick, is very pretty and secure, and to my surprise, I love the magnetic closure side - I keep my wallet and phone there (occasionally under the lunch) because they're easy to reach. I chose the Saddle Multi because I wanted a neutral that would look great in any season. Best of all, the bag doesn't overwhelm my small frame (I'm 5'2"), and it looks gorgeous and professional stuffed to the gills or relatively empty. The pebbled leather is beautifully textured, and will, I'm sure, hide a ton of use without showing wear. The handles are a deeper, slightly darker color, and the coach tag is red. I absolutely love this bag.

I was looking for something to carry my 13" laptop; it fits nicely in the side with the magnetic closure (though it does not fit it the "C" side, it blocks the clasp). With the feet, I thought this would probably be best suited for travel. I now think it will work for day-to-day; the feet are not obtrusive, and though a bit deeper, it is not as wide as another tote I use for day-to-day. I would describe this tote as Medium-Large, and I think it is the perfect size. I really tried not to buy another black bag, but the Willow tote in black with silver hardware stood out to me. It was impossible to resist because most of my work totes have gold hardware. It is functional and the craftmanship looks lux. I love structured bags and I love pebbled leather. I'm also petite; the Willow tote is perfect for my size.
