Never having to worry about a club I can't hit is the best feeling. The distances took a little to get used to( gained on p-8 and lost on 4 and 5). I've recommended these to many people I've played with, they are forgiving, accurate and come with peace of mind. I'm a 5 handicap and I sometimes feel like I'm cheating using these clubs. I always struggled with my 5 iron and after I bough this set I ordered the 4 because I was so comfortable with the 5. I did get graphite shafts on mine as they help my back not take on as much weight in the swing.

I just got this yesterday and managed to hit the 6 iron up to 170 yards to set me up for a birdie putt. I was shocked to say the least. Off centre hits were well compensated and centre hits were rewarded with unbelievable distance. The sound of impact was very satisfying. I felt like a 15 handicapper although I am playing 22.Yes the lofts were stronger ie PW is 41 degrees (like an older 9 iron) but it goes further than the 9 iron.Downside: The local golf store only sells 6-PW so now I have to fork out for a GW or a 3rd party 46 wedge.Nonetheless, these are the clubs you want. Great work by Cobra. Amazing to say the least!

I would not call these clubs excellent condition. Heads are dirty and slight rust spots. Not thrilled with the purchase but my son wanted to keep them. I would have returned.

I went through a club fitting and it came down to the Aerojet irons and the Mizuno 923 HM with the same KBS lite S shaft. I decided to go with the cobra's due to on that day the overall feel and carry were better for me. I purchased the irons set from WWGS and I'm very happy. Im a high ball hitter so the lower lofts help me. My distances are similar to my old TM M2 irons with graphite S shafts when I make an average swing with average contact on my 8,9.pw,gw. When I am more warmed up the distance jumps up about 10 yards especially for the 7,6,5 irons. I only play 1 or 2 times per week. My average carry on an 8 was 140 to 145 with the TM M2, Aerojet is 150 - 160 yds on the tee or flat lye in the fairway. I can see my confidence growing each round I play. I hook the ball and higher ball flight is why the steel S lite shaft has helped my shot dispersion. The S shaft may be a little stiff for my swing speed and I'm 56 years old? I think in the long run if I concentrate more on a better ball strike and less on all out distance. My game will only improve due to the design of this club.
I made a mistake by getting this set in graphite shafts and in regular flex. Its very "whippy" and makes my pulls and hooks a lot worse. The club head itself is forgiving albeit a large head size and strong lofts compared to my old clubs. These clubs have stronger lofts, more offset, lighter in weight, and has more shaft flex than my old clubs. I've played 7 rounds and over 10 range sessions with them so far. Will probably exchange them for clubs with less offset, stiffer and heavier shafts.
The AJs have massive forgiveness all across the face. I'm playing these 2* weaker than standard and am getting essentially the same yardage as my standard loft LTDXs. Impact feels incredibly solid. There is enough playability to move the ball left and right, as may be needed. I'm thoroughly enjoying these irons. I recommend them highly.
I went in to be fitted for irons and had three models in mind. The employee who did my fitting threw these in as a mystery club based on what I said I was looking for. My decision came down to these and Mizuno hot metal game improvement irons. It was tough to decide because they were very similar in feel, but I felt more comfortable with these. I love the feel of these clubs: they’re easy to swing and it feels like they correct my swing too. I have a high handicap so the game improvement irons really help. These feel light weight and can be swung fast but not so fast that it causes issues with my swing. These irons are forgiving and allow me to hit further than my previous set. They’re comfortable to hit and hold up well in a variety of conditions.
I purchased these to upgrade from my father's tour brand clubs from back in 1974. This is the first time I spent money on a new set, since I never considered needing anything else. It is amazing how technology has changed. I barely have to swing and the ball literally rockets off the face of the club. Accuracy? Unmatched. Control? You got it. Speed? That speaks for itself. The club feels like it is part of me when I am on the course and makes for a truly wonderful golfing experience. Thank you everyone at Cobra for making that possible!
on sale last month, recommended by salesman after a 1/2 hour in the hitting cage. Improved distance & accuracy on all my irons, the hype is real. For slow swing speed older guys like me, this set is an improvement from my RBZ's.
Bought as a gift - But these clubs are great. They are "game improvement" irons, but they look really good. Not huge chunky offensive bricks on the end of a stick. And wow, do they seem to fly! Forgiveness is there as well as distance. Good job Cobra, these clubs are impressive!
