Five years ago the Coleman Cobra 2 was 'the' lightweight backpacking tent of choice and a firm favourite with Duke of Edinburgh (damn fine tent) expeditioners. The Cobra 2 is a wedge shaped tent, perfectly aerodynamic with external aluminium poles for lightness, strength and speed of erection. Its minimal pack size will also fit neatly into any medium sided rucksack. The Cobra features a roll-up side entrance in both the flysheet and the inner tent; the inner is breathable polyester with no-see-um-mesh and features a polyester (5000mm HH) groundsheet. The poles are 7001-T6 aluminium and the flysheet is polyester with taped seams and PU coated for 3000mm hydrostatic head protection. Comes complete with carry bag.

as all motorcyclist know you haven't got a lot of room for luggage so a light wight tent with a small pack size is what you look for this is why I chose this tent it is all of these and I was surprised how much room it had inside once pitched

Great piece of kit. Took it for my Hadrian’s Wall trek and it saw me through wet, windy and sunny conditions. Quick delivery and great communication from the seller too.

A great little tent! I've used this tent during winter camping and have experienced some really challenging weather conditions and this little gem wins every time. The design is brilliant and well thought out. It suits two people best with space for one or two rucksacks inside the inner tent, though I've always placed them in between the inner and outer tent. Very good ventilation. The spacing between the inner and outer tent is ideal and there's space for your shoes and stove etc. What really impresses me is the 6000mm hydrostatic head - WOW! You only get this on those expedition tents that cost a fortune! So you know for sure that this tent WILL keep you dry! The aluminium poles are good, really strong and unlike the fibre glass ones that DO break. The flysheet ... MoreA great little tent! The flysheet goes up first so perfect when its pouring down, though I've always got the inner tent fixed in with the outer, so much more quicker that way. A really light tent. My only slight negative point are the pegs, a bit light and flimsy for my liking, go and get some army heavy duty ones.

great tent for 2 people, good space for storage on either side of the inner cabin. unfortunately, I bought it under the impression it was smaller, lighter, easier to carry when solo-backpacking - this is my fault I should have done my research.
Excellent value, I use this tent for myself with lots of room for the gear
