The Coleman Instant Up 10P Gold Series Tent is your instant camping solution when accommodating up to 10 people. The beauty is in the 3 minute setup time where the secret lies in the tent never coming off the telescopic poles so you can enjoy spending more time enjoying the outdoors with friends or family instead of spending valuable time trying to figure out how to set up the most integral part of your campsite - your tent! The Gold series of tents from Coleman is a step up in quality without the weight and extra cost of a canvas tent. The materials selected include the fly being a polyester rip-stop that is rated to 3000mm water head rating. The wonderful advantage in using rip-stop prevents any puncture you may receive from tearing and is designed to last. Localising to a very small area makes repairs easy should it be required. The stitching is seam-sealed meaning that rain has trouble getting through! Large doors and windows are used throughout allowing for great ventilation and having a separate protective mesh screen so you can sleep insect free in the warmer months! This tent has an internal privacy wall included and incorporates a D-Door that divides the living space in half creating two separate rooms. Both rooms have their own external access thanks to the 4 entry points. For a large tent, transportation is also made easy as it packs down into its handy carry bag that will fit in the boot of your car or storing away! Now with 5 awning poles included, you can pull up a chair under any of the awnings. To maximise your time in the outdoors and trouble free camping, get ready to move into your home away from home.

Bought this tent from Snowys thinking it would be ‘pressure tested’ at least to hold together when a gentle breeze rolled into the back yard. Gold by name but not Gold standard. The material is thin and will not hold up to Australian spring/summer conditions. The repairer recommended by Snowys would not repair it - why? Because the material is too thin! Used it twice only in 12 months, and second time it crumpled. Snowys warranty does not cover damage due to environmental conditions - full stop. Do yourself a favour a spend the $$ to go for a durable, tent and buy from a retailer that supports the product it sells.

We have used this tent for two months. It’s got space, I have 3 complaints. First is the room divider, trip hazard if it is open because the bottom isn’t connected with the floor. Next is the fly screen cover. Light wind has caused this to rip away from the zipper. Poor quality, it says rip stop technology. Obviously it doesn’t work on the fly sheet. Another issue is that it’s difficult opening and closing the the tent from inside without hanging up on the zipper flaps. Overall it’s a good tent and loads of space.

We recently purchased the Coleman 10 man pop up tent and took it away camping with our 10 month old son. The practicality of the tent is what originally drew us to this design and it was amazing. It was extremely easy to set up and pack away and has the perfect amount of room for our double mattress and his portable cot! It was quite hot in the day and the heat regulation wasn’t the greatest but a tarp should do the trick next time. All in all for the cost it is a great and affordable tent and I would highly recommend it.

Bought the 6P tent for just the two of us. The space inside is very luxurious and we probably could’ve gone with the 4P as well, but it is nice having a spacious living space! This tent probably can fit 4 persons comfortably… 6 will be a squeeze considering space for backpacks etc. The set up was fast and easy, and held up well on a windy night. I appreciate the little zip features in the tent and the material of the tent feels like of good quality. The tent requires two people to keep and some effort squeezing to fit back into the bag. Very pleased with the purchase!
I'm very happy with this tent. Although I haven't camped out in it yet, I have pitched it to check everything is OK. It's very well made, and roomy for one person. I've hosed it down, no leaks, and left it up overnight - condensation inside the fly, to be expected, but inner tent dry. Inner tent is easy and fast to erect - it's everything else that takes time, especially if you are doing it alone. Including the add-on awning, groundsheet, floor mats, stretcher, etc, it took about an hour to set up camp. Practice would improve this, and I'll only be using this tent for stays of 3 nights or more. I'm 6' tall, so handling the fly was easy on my own: if I was 5' it would be very difficult. The only weak point I can see is the guy ropes. The four guy ropes are directly attached to the fly, which would put the stitching under a lot of tension in high winds, so I've ordered some trace springs to take the pressure off the fly. I'm not convinced the zip attachment of the add-on awning extension to the fly is going to be strong enough, so I've ordered some more trace springs to relieve the tension on the zip a bit. Apart from that, an excellent tent.
The Gold 10p is a great roomy tent that's pretty quick to set up, provided you are setting it up on soft ground. We pitched it on a gravelly surface and the tent pegs kept bending so it took a very long time to get it pegged down. Another thing to note was that the room divider in the tent is not joined along the floor of the tent but it's not a huge deal. All in all I'm very happy with the tent and will be getting some forged steel tent pegs to replace the standard pegs that cane with it.
Fantastic tent and quality. Easily setup and pulled done / packed. We had an easy up Queen bed in there and had tons of room around the edges etc. we have had it up in pouring rain and wind and not so much as a drop entered. Drying time for the tent was amazing but we DID use a shade cloth type groundsheet under it as we always do that. Really great solid floor in these tents also. Plenty of more benefits, very happy with the purchase. As usual the delivery speed and communication from Snowys was outstanding.
I know these tents were only designed for conditions in Australia, but this help up to some good Texas thunderstorms. (I went through a LOT of work to get this shipped by courier to the U.S.A.)The first time I took this tent out camping we had severe thunderstorms that spawned a couple of tornadoes. Winds were estimated at 40MPH (64kmh) at the campsite with gusts much higher.I had trace springs and spiral stakes on the guy lines. One corner knuckle inverted when the wind hit and the whole tent was shaking. The next morning when I inspected the tent, I was surprised there were not any tears in the tent. On the pole that inverted, the Velcro came unwrapped. I popped the knuckle back and re-attached the Velcro and everything was fine. There were no leaks anywhere ... MoreI know these tents were only designed for conditions in Australia, but this help up to some good Texas thunderstorms. I ordered this Tent mid day on a Friday and received it at 11;45 am the following Monday, Awesome service thank you.My wife and I used this tent for the first time last weekend for two nights which just happened to coincide with the arctic winds coming up from the southern states into NSW. No tent is easy to put up in 20 to 30 km/h winds but even so we managed to fight the wind and got it put up in about 20 minutes, once up and fully pegged out it was extremely stable. Now Coleman claim that it can withstand winds of up to 100 km/h, our tent was pitched in an open area with no wind breaks and I'm sure the wind gusts got close to that (A nursing home about 20 to 30 Km away did loose its roof!) but the worst we experienced inside the tent was the frame shake a bit. ... MoreI ordered this Tent mid day on a Friday and received it at 11;45 am the following Monday, Awesome service thank you.My wife and I used this tent for the first time last weekend for two nights which just happened to coincide with the arctic winds coming up from the southern states into NSW. The next day I put up our instant up gazebo which lasted 20 minutes before it was a crumpled heap on the ground with broken legs, the tent just sat there hardly moving at all. Later that day we copped about 30 minutes of rain and small hail.....dry and warm inside!Packing up in the wind also made it difficult but it packed up with the fly wrapped around the tent and fitted back into the bag with ease, good job on the extra roomy bag Coleman! What can I say other than I am highly impressed with this tent the wind didn't bother it, it was surprisingly warm inside for such a roomy tent and we have no hesitation heading out no matter what the weather is doing.6 stars out of 5!
Brought this tent in 2020, but only erected it this summer due to illness. I put it up in my backyard for two weeks trying to get my young grandson to sleep in it. He wouldn’t. I did notice that the fly faded very quickly. Finally got to take it camping this Easter. The fly ripped as we were erecting it
