Amazing little Flosser

Wow, this Colgate Air Flosser is amazing and so compact and simple to use. I’ve been using this Flosser and the results are unbelievable with the three pressure modes it really gets in between my teeth and gentle on my gums and removes all the plaque and food that gets stuck in my teeth. I love how compact it is, and how I can floss my teeth in the shower. Its easy to charge with its charging cable. It has a water tank and Built in nozzle which is really cool as well. The pressure blasts away all the plaque stuck in my teeth and I’m very surprised how strong the pressure is too. The only thing I could fault is that the device is aqua and it was so hard to see the charging light if it was on, but other than that it really works well on my teeth.

The flosser is a tidy little unit, I really appreciate the onboard storage for the floss head. The charger is a standard micro-USB, which is also fantastic. The unit is easy to use, with three modes to select. You are able to select the mode before turning the unit on, which is a nice feature. The full mode is a little too powerful for my gums, but the gentle seemed fine. The one/off button could be a little more tactile, which would make it easier to turn off without pulling the unit out of your mouth and spraying water everywhere. My only real concern is that the internal water reservoir never seems to dry out completely. Even after leaving it popped out for a full day, there was still water inside the chamber. It's a great product, easy to use and can help one get into the habit of flossing regularly. Being cordless makes it very convenient for someone who doesn't have space on their bathroom sink for a bulky unit. It comes with a USB charging cable that takes around 4 hours to charge and then it's good to go for a long time. The water tank is on the smaller side and last for 60 seconds before one has to stop for a refill. A timer that alerts one at 30 seconds would have been handy to ensure full coverage within the recommended 60 seconds water flossing. The water pressure is strong enough to get plaque out from around teeth without cuts or swollen gums that a standard dental floss causes.

Convenient and gentle
23 June 2022

The convenience of having the device right next to your toothbrush is always a bonus. Whilst I would have liked to have the option to have a bit more of a powerful blast, it still does the job. The main thing is to make sure that you have your finger on the power button at all times, so you don’t accidentally change it to pulse instead of off. Then when you take it out of your mouth, it becomes a water pistol. It’s certainly a lot more gentle than regular dental floss, although occasionally you do still need to reach for it if you have something tough stuck. But for day to day, after brushing clean, it certainly does the trick. Being able to compact it down for travelling also helps too and the battery lasts a lot longer than anticipated.

Didn't expect it to be so good!
28 June 2022

The product itself was very light, ergonomically shaped and compact. Extremely easy to use, and clean. Packaging is wonderful, and instructions very easy to use and understand. Product felt very gentle on my gums, and i loved that it had a waterproof design so could be used in the shower on the go. Fantastic to have multiple pressure modes, depending on gum sensitivity. So easy to use- and my teeth definetely appear whiter after use. I also love that the rechargeable battery means no worrying about cables with babies in the house. Only downfall is that unit is so compact that it doesn't hold a lot of water- multiple refills needed. Definetely a fantastic alternative to regular dental floss and i'd consider buying it for family members in the future. Well done Colgate!!

Great alternative to traditional floss.
14 June 2022

The Colgate blast cordless water flosser is pretty good! It makes flossing the back molars much easier than traditional floss. At first it was a bit tricky and messy to use, however it only took 1 - 2 days to work out the best way for me. I really like the convenience of not needing to buy traditional floss and that I can use water or mouth wash for an extra clean. Its great that it is rechargeable and doesn't require any batteries. I do find that I am always using 2 - 3 tanks per flossing session as I really like to get in between all my teeth so a bigger water reservoir would be good, but I'm not sure how that would be achieved and still make it easy to use/hold. The only other thing I found a little fiddly was the power button is not easy to find whilst in use, ... MoreThe Colgate blast cordless water flosser is pretty good! But all in all, I will certainly continue to use this water flosser daily and am pretty happy with the results it gives.

Great water flosser
25 November 2021

It’s my first experience at water flossing. Honestly I made a mess the first time. It takes awhile to get used to. I like that it’s cordless it’s a huge plus. The battery last quite awhile before the next charge. For first timers, i highly suggest to try it in the shower unless you like to clean up the water mess after. The pressure from the water it’s really strong so aim properly between your teeth before you turn it on and also start with gentle mode. I would continue to use the water flosser. I do it in the shower it’s hassle free for me without having to wrap strings around my finger and getting my mirror all dirtied. My gaps feels clean. My only gripe is that I have to fill up the tank twice when I floss but I blame it on my inexperience. With adequate practice ... MoreIt’s my first experience at water flossing. With adequate practice I can definitely finish flossing within 60sec(that’s how long it takes before water runs out) so a shorter time to get my teeth cleaned properly. I have not found anything stuck after so definitely does the job well.

Its brilliant with braces! Easy to use!
19 October 2022

Absolutely love this! My first time using a water flosser. I have recently had braces put on and getting that stupid floss stuff inbetween was a nightmare. A water flosser was my best option. The Orthodontist each week was stating my gums were inflamed and red and to keep flossing and brushing. After having this for 4-6wks now my orthodontist is now stating my gums are healthy and I'm doing a fantastic job. First up it was difficult to keep the water from going all over the bathroom but I just would laugh and wipe it up. After a week I was a professional and no mess at all. Just put it in your mouth on gentle only for me with mouth slightly open and lean over the sink and let the water run out. Its very easy, I take it with me on my monthly camping trips too. ... MoreAbsolutely love this! My first time using a water flosser. Portable & perfect for travelling!

Overall a decent water flosser, especially when out and about. I regularly use a water flosser at home (Panasonic), this water flosser (Colgate) may not compare in strength of water stream but fare well in other areas. Definitely would recommend as a travel flosser! Pros: - portable, great for bringing to work/travelling - fine water stream, could easily flush food debris in between teeth - usb charger convenient to charge anywhere - compartment for nozzle storage handy to keep the flush compact in bag Cons: - water tank too small, had to refill to finish flushing whole mouth - design of flosser odd - required emptying of water tank each time we need to compact/close the flosser - in comparison to other water flosser, the power modes for Colgate is limited and will ... MoreOverall a decent water flosser, especially when out and about. a good idea but poorly executed
14 June 2022

I like the design colour and concept of this product. its easy to grip and hold. the colour is attractive and overall enjoyable. The nozzle fits in the mouth easily and clicks into place on the base of the product snuggly. The first problem I encountered with this product was getting the shield down to access the bottons to turn it on and change setting. i found it stiff and it just didnt move smoothly at all. once i had struggled to get the other shield down then I turned it on. it took a while to find which setting would work best for me. i found the water blasting to be ver aggresive and not smooth. its sort of jerky. I found the general product was hard to use and found i was concentrating on how to use it instead of actually flossing my teeth. quite off putting
