The only complaint I have about this is the size of the bottle. That won't last long! I was pleasantly surprised when I first tasted it. Eaten with plain white fish it really makes the meal. Lovely to have that tangy taste without being too hot. It also goes great with breaded fish, fish fingers, fish and chips. So glad I discovered it here and the price is great.

I'm not really sure why there are complaints about the size. It's ?1 and there's enough for 5 of us to use with our homemade fish and chips. I tend to buy a jar each time we make some as there isn't really enough for multiple uses however for the price I don't think the size is bad. I like the thickness of the sauce and the flavour and texture is lovely and perfectly balances the salt in the fish and chips. Would definitely recommend.

This is a classic product that retains the famous Coleman's name long after Coleman's has been bought out by the big multinational. Tartare sauce can vary in taste, creaminess and ingredients. Coleman's is THE tartare sauce. It is in a class of its own. I think we can treat the reviews whining about small jars and price as they deserve.
Oh my, Colman's Tartare Sauce, a little taste of heaven. A creamy sauce filled with little mouthwatering moments of gherkin and capers, what a delight on the tongue. A perfect accompaniment, that fish dish is transformed to another level.With a generous spoonful on the side, I love nothing more than dipping my fish and chips in the wonderfully tangy thick sauce.This is a definate winner with my family and it certainly didnt last long.
