It is a great conditioner with all of the benefits of being sulfate free, paraben free, etc. This leaves my hair feeling soft and silky without weighing down my hair and I use it in conjunction with Color Wow Security Shampoo. This also seems to preserve my color and highlights longer than my normal color safe shampoo conditioner. I just wish there was a noticeable fresh or fruity scent. I will be purchasing the full size product! #colorwowhair

I've used this for awhile now, and I don't know how I feel about it still. It's fine? I have straight, thin hair, that I have been dying purple for a couple years, and other fashion colors before. I know that my color is going to come out, but I'm constantly searching for the holy grail product. I have a very dry itchy scalp that gets flakey, and I wash my hair every 4 days or so (while refreshing color every couple of weeks and bleaching twice a year).This product definitely runs purple for me, but I guess it runs less than others? Definitely less than my oleplex, and sometimes I feel like it does a much better job at cleaning junk out of my hair than other more moisturizing brands I've used. Dulls my red hair

Cleans well, only lathers a tiny bit, and smells like melon. Doesn't leave a residue. Not overly hydrating for bleached and/or colour treated hair. I can go 2-4 days without washing my hair. It does take some of the colour out of my red hair, more than other colour safe shampoos I've used while having bright red hair. If you need a lot of moisture from your hair products, this ain't the shampoo for you. If you have fine hair you'll likely like this. Maybe it's just not for my hair type (medium 2b/2c hair). Probably won't repurchase it, at least not while I'm sporting a vibrant hair colour. I will say that I like the conditioner of this line more than the shampoo.

Great shampoo but not if your hair is bleached

I bought this shampoo to try as my hair is prone to grease. I tried it before bleaching my hair which was 2 weeks before and it was great. It doesn't lather up much to begin with as that's it's little secret as advertised to show your hair isn't "clean" but after a few uses it latheres up nicely. Unfortunately after having my hair bleached it made my hair really knotty when washing with both the shampoo and normal to fine conditioner. It's a shame as the shampoo and conditioner is lovely and smells great. My friend also tried it on her hair. Which is also bleached, and it did the same thing. May purchase again if nothing else available as it does great on the colour you have. Shame it makes your hair knotty as it is really nice and lightweight.

I Underestimated this product

The only product I’ve tried from colour while is the dream coat, which I absolutely love. I thought I would go onto try a shampoo and this brand has not let me down so far. My hair was left noticeable soft, shiny and conditioned. I didn’t even need to use conditioner which was the best part. I have fine straight hair but very long hair and I didn’t need a lot of product to wash my hair. The travel size is a perfect size for travel or if you want to try the product out. A little did go along way, lathered beautifully and whether your hair is coloured or not I think it’s just a Great conditioning shampoo. Excited to try more from the brand

Keeps color from fading to brassy!

This is my favorite shampoo of all time. I was having difficulty with color fading since starting to dye my roots. My soft brown color would turn brassy after a couple of weeks. My hairdresser and I tried everything but nothing worked (even after adding a lot more ash into the color). Finally I switched from kerastase to this and I will never go back. This shampoo (I also use the matching conditioner) makes my hair soft, bouncy, and fresh. It doesn’t weigh the hair down and it says clean for much longer. Overall highly recommend and hope Sephora always sells it.

My new favourite

I had used Olaplex for a while but had started to fall out of love with it. I feel like the shampoo has started to leave a residue and my hair doesn’t feel so clean any more. Decided to try the Color wow shampoo as I love the color wow dreamcoat and it definitely doesn’t disappoint. Don’t need to use much, emulsify in your hands first and lather into roots. Rinses out well, smells lovely and clean and leaves my hair squeaky clean. I love the squeak of clean hair! The conditioner is also super lovely and doesn’t leave any residue behind. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for something that really will leave your hair clean and refreshed and not weighed down

Tested it thoroughly - absolutely repurchasing!

I originally got this from a Today Show steals & deals segment (they sucker me in all the time) and received full size shampoo, conditioner, and 3 other styling and heat protectant products. I always try things for several weeks, go back to my usual stuff for several weeks and see if I can tell a difference. I absolutely positively can with this shampoo/conditioner! My hair is silky, light, bouncy, shiny and not greasy at all. My notice my ends don’t get as dry between washes (I was my hair once/week) and I can go much longer before I need dry shampoo. My color looks amazing and even if I didn’t have any color (majority of my hair is my natural color) I would still use WOW. Wow! Absolutely horrendous!

I bought this shampoo and matching conditioner after reading all the good reviews on their website. I also own some of their other products, which are ok, but nothing special, especially, not for the price. This shampoo is possibly the worst shampoo I have ever used in my entire life! Absolutely stripped my thick, natural hair and made it look and feel like straw. No amount of conditioner and leave in conditioner was able to fix it. It was an expensive mistake, put me off the brand completely. Much prefer the Moroccanoil brand or ColorProof, which unfortunately is no longer available in the UK.
