Disappointed repeat consumer

I have used these hooks for years and have not had a problem until recently.I bought a new package about a month ago to hang Christmas decorations as I do every year. This time however, a few of the plastic clips had "bumps" from the molds on the back side. The clips did not lay flush against the wall surface, hence the clips fell off the wall along with the decorations. I don't know if this was just a bad batch or if more consumers have had this problem. Very disappointed in lack of quality control (inspection) of this product.

Don’t stay

So disappointed with these clips! Used them to hang a few Christmas decorations, following the directions precisely, and they keep falling down! They are way to expensive not to work!! The thing that gets me the most, is that they used to work. Either improve the clear formula, or go back to the old white ones.

EXTRA CHEAP DONT DO IT!!

I don't know if the reviews with 5 stars are real or if my package was a messed up one.(looking at other 1 stars it must not have been) I wanted to hang Christmas lights on my bedroom wall. I bought these because that package said decorating lights and had Christmas lights on it ! But obviously that is not true I followed the directions let them sit for a couple hours.......put the lights on and they all just started to fall. Once I took the lights down I was able to just take a broom and swipe the wall and knock every single one down. I really wanted my money back but I used all of them before I realized how bad they were. If you plan on hanging anything heavier than a paper clip don't buy these.

Great little things!

Does exactly what it says on the pack. Easily peelable off the wall and dont leave marks. Secure for hanging and barely noticeable.

Not sticky at all

Ive been hesitant to buy more of these things because the last few packs Ive gotten from various places have just NOT been sticky at all. The pack I just received today has the clear "sticky" tabs tinted with a yellowish color which indicates to me that they are probably old. They crinkled up when I was trying to stick them to the plastic pieces, which did not happen because they werent sticky at all. I am so very disappointed in these products lately. I have been using them for years and still have a few around my house that havent budged for a very long time.

Pretty versatile! Almost invisible!

I can use these things just about anywhere, just as long as i pay attention to the direction of the hook in conjunction to which side the pull tab is stuck out, make sure you think it out before you start slapping these things on. Also, i prefer placing the sticky tab into the hook FIRST so i know it's lined up perfectly, then I pick my placement and stick it on the wall. I wish they were a bit stickier though. I've had a couple that wouldn't stick on my perfectly clean, flat trim for xmas lights.

Use in RV

I used the Decorating clips completely differently than most people. In the RV behind the sink I used the clips to attache a wire rack. The rack is used to store dish soap, hand soap etc so I do not have to put them away every time we travel. The clips keeps the wire rack in place and I can lift the rack to clean behind it and then remount it. It took several tries before I got the hooks positioned to hold the rack

Why did you change a great thing?

I have used the command decorating clips for well over 10 yrs to hang decorations & lights for every holiday ... I rely heavily on this product to make my home festive and inviting for family & friends. I loved loved loved the clear decorating clips with the white sticky tabs. The white hangers are ok, but I much prefer the clear ones. I don't like the waterproof ones or whatever they are called (bluish sticky tabs). The newer clear clips with the clear sticky tabs are just terrible, hold nothing and are frankly a complete waste of money. Any chance you might consider bringing back the old product? Why change something that worked so great? Oh and why such a price increase over the last few years? absolute trash

it doesn't even stick. I used isopropyl too and I didn't stick. It was so frustrating knowing that I wasted my money into something that doesn't even work. I ended up having so many strips in the bin because my dry hands were stickier than the black side of the strip. It's a scam.
