The actual holder is also heavy duty - the hook is large and can easily handle larger objects without a danger of it breaking off. The package comes with one hook and 4 strips. The hanger requires two strips and creates a secure hold. Refill strips are sold separately. Love these Hooks. You can use them anywhere & if you made a boo boo you can easily move them. They do hang up to 10 Lbs. I even tried them to hang Jewelry from on the back of a door. I tried my heaviest Necklaces with larger stones. They worked wonderfully. When you have natural stones they can get really heavy. The hooks were great on the door to display or store necklaces & bracelets together. There are so many uses you can uses them for, use your imagination.

3M gave me a free sample of their new Command 10 lb X-large Hook to evaluate. This is such an awesome product that is very easy to install and no tools are required. Use it anywhere you want, no nails or holes required! As shown in the pictures, I used it to hang a stepladder up off the floor, out of the way in a small closet. I really like how strong & secure it is plus It removes without leaving any marks or sticky residue if I decide to use it in a different room or on another surface somewhere else.

I received a Command Large 10 Lb. Hook to review.I followed the instructions to use alcohol and wipe off the surface of the wall where I was going to attach it. Then I put it up and allowed it to set in place as instructed. When putting the hook up I must admit I had my doubts that it would hold 10 Lbs.Much to my surprise the chair cushions I hung from the 10 Lb. Command hook have hung up and out of the way in the garage. It works wonderfully for keeping things up off the garage floor and out of the way.I took 3 pictures to show how neat it holds the cushions and I just love the idea. This Command X-Large Hook is easy to install and helps with organization. No tools are needed to install the hook. I'm not much of a DIY person, and let me tell you, this hook is super easy to install. I like how you don't need hammer or nails; or the fact that we didn't have to drill holes into the wall. I install the X-Large hook at the back of my daughter's bedroom door. It gives her a place to hang her stuff and keep her items organized. This is not the first command hook we have in our house. We have several in the back of the cabinet doors, kitchen, and utility closet. I personally like the X-Large size as it is able to hold four hangers with my daughter's clothes on it. The other command hooks we have installed for a few years and they are still holding up great!
I received the 10lb hook from 3M free to sample it and this is my opinion about this product it a very good item and very easy to install. After I received the hook I placed it on my work bench in a area where I was in need of a hook. After installing the hook and using it to my satisfaction it preformed nicely. I had only one drawback with it wouldn’t fit on my small ladder which had thicker bars then the hook could handle. It passed all other test that I tried I would recommend this to my friends to use
I love Command products so I was very happy to receive a free product and test it out. I have used many of their products and have always been satisfied. I needed something that would hold my bags but it needed to be heavy duty. In New Jersey plastic bags have been banned and my closet was overflowing with coolers and bags for shopping. This hook holds up to 10 pounds with ease, was easy to install and has held great! I would highly recommend it for your heavier items.
The hook holds well, and now that it's been up a few weeks, I trust that it's reliable and will stay stuck to the wall until we take it down. The two pieces of the hook could snap together more securely, however - it is a loose fit. The design is simple and appropriate for a storage area, closet, etc. (or in my case, the back of a door). 3M provided this complementary item for my review.
I received a large 3 M Command hook to try out and I love it. I have been struggling to find something to hang my steam mop from that was not invasive or scarring to my walls. This product works great. I have had it attached to the wall for 4 days now and it is holding beautifully. The size and depth of the hook is just right and it comes with two additional adhesive strips so that I can easily move it to another location if needed. Love that it is white. It makes the product blend in on the wall and looks crisp and clean. I recommend this product to others that have large items under 10 pounds to hang up. I will be looking at my favorite stores for this product to purchase in the near future.
I did my research and read the reviews prior to purchasing. I was extremely excited to use these to hang my pictures, rods,etc. Besides, they would come in handy because my family was moving to a new house.I read the instructions and followed every detail. I ensured that I had the correct hooks that did not exceed any weight limits. After all, this was my first time using the “infamous” command hooks.I hung everything up, and it was easy. They looked fabulous. They lived up to the hype! WRONG! The next morning the hooks were on the floor. It DIDN’T EVEN LAST 24 hours! I’m literally disappointed and disgusted!BE WARNED—-they DON’T LAST AND WILL WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!
