I bought this long cable as we have moved house and the room sizes are a little different to our previous house and I have had to set up my entertainment theatre a little differently.I was concerned that I would get signal degradation with the cable being so long but it works fine

This cable worked with my Foxtel and Fetch TV through my Yamaha RX-V685 connected to my TV via the ARC HDMI out. It's solid core wires make the cable quite stiff but is necessary to achieve the 18Gbps throughput especially at this 5m length. So when installing I would suggest not flexing the cable back and forth too much. I now have no HDMI handshake issues and can confirm that Fetch output is delivering 4k@60Hz while Foxtel is showing it's max of 4k@50Hz. We noticed an marked improvement in our picture quality after connecting this cable and making sure our STB's settings were showing the correct video output of 4k(2160p)@60Hz. If you're looking for an HDMI cable and you're not fussed about big brands and you just 'want something that works' this cable will do it for you. As HDMI was intended to be a 'one cable video and audio' solution, this cable has worked for me with no issues.I purchased one over 2 years ago and the cable is still working.
