Contigo 946ml Cortland Autoseal Water Bottle - Monaco Blue

I bought this water bottle to use while on vacation. I needed something that wasn't going to leak. It's fantastic! No leaking, holds a decent amount of beverage, cleaning isn't terrible and I can use a clip and attach it to my bag. Only issue might be how long it keeps my drink cold, but that's not a deal breaker for me. Great bottle for my needs.

In general, I love Contigo bottles. I have a couple that have been dropped repeatedly on concrete, and still work great. And the bottles for my toddler are the only thing I've found that prevents her from creating water puddles around the house. I've only bought one of this model, which I think they're calling version 2. They say it's leak proof. Sure, if you have the spout in the down position, it doesn't leak. However, if you have a toddler that loves playing in puddles of water, you'll see just how easy these leak. If the spout is open, and you turn the bottle upside down, you'll get a steady stream of water down the straw if the bottle is full enough, or the water in the straw will leak out if it's not full enough. Is the quality good?

Caveat: Once I did this without making sure the lid was securely screwed on. The bottle is great, but it isn't idiot-proof. SIZE MATTERS: The 24-ounce model is a nice size (although, for me, it served as the gateway drug to the 32-ounce), and fits into most cup holders. DISHWASHER SAFE. I even put mine on the bottom rack, and it does great. STURDY: But not indestructible. I'm a klutz have dropped mine a number of times. Usually on hard tile. Most of the time they've survived without a scratch. Once a hard-tile impact broke the top and it was irreparable. Another time part of the handle on the top broke off, which didn't affect the usability of the bottle. For what I put them through, it's a miracle how well they survive. CONS: 1) You'll want to collect the whole set.

love this Contigo Core SS Autoseal 24 oz water bottle in Licorice. The design is perfect for my family. The size is great for a day at the office or a day out hiking. We also try to avoid plastic water bottles as much as possible, so I love this steal design. I also really love the autoseal to avoid leaks. It's easy to lock, open, and carry. Plus, it's easy to clean which is so important!

I had one of their earlier models, very similar. It lasted a long time, and I only replaced it because it got pretty banged up from years of daily use. I was annoyed when I found that they did not make that model anymore, but I tried this one and I'm impressed. It has all the same amazing feature of the original, with some new awesomeness added to it. Great quality, keeps drinks cold a long time, very easy and seamless to use. I have no interest in buying any other water bottle. I'm not going to rate the Lock feature because while it's not in the way or anything, it's just not something I use.

I had an older model of this water bottle which I had for over 5 years. It was dropped many times, never leaked. It was temperature retention.I was devastated when it went missing at a netball game. I ordered this new and improved bottle; not thinking my old bottle could possibly improve. Very impressed with it and love how it now has a cover and a lock for accidental spilling. I can sip just the right amount and the spout is just perfect. Very happy

Let me start by saying I believe Contigo products are the best. This Cortland 2.0, 24oz Water Bottle is fantastic. I have big fingers, therefore my finger has slipped off the button trying to support the weight while drinking. And what happened to the ability to open the underside to easily clean the inside of the lid. I suggest to make all the lids with following features: the deeper indentation on the button for big fingers, the button lock and opening the underside for easy cleaning. For my use, Contigo AUTOSEAL is still the best product on the market.

Can't use it - poor design.

Still looking for a decent water bottle - this isn't it. Too hard to use especially for someone with arthritis. The button you have to push is stiff, the lid is too big. Can't use it. Seems pretty fiddly frankly for a water bottle. Who needs a high tech lid????? Never got as far as seeing it leaking as some of the other reviewers have posted since I can't use it. Probably just as well...

Contigo - great water bottle

Excellent water bottle, this is my second one, because I liked the first one I bought a few years ago. (both still in use) It is light and sturdy, has a cap over the spout, and ergonomic handle. The cap is lockable also, and easy to keep clean. Fits nicely in the door pocket of my car. It is easy to pick up and use with one hand while driving. The handle has a spring loaded catch, for easy attachment to bag loops.

I use them every day!

I have three 40 oz Cortland water bottles in the pink dragon fruit color and four in the grey licorice color. I've carried them around with me everywhere, daily, for about three years now and every one of them is still in good working order. I like that they're dishwasher safe and have a handle to carry them with and the flip top cover to keep the mouth piece clean. They don't leak even when they get tipped upside down for a significant time (I knock them over in my car all the time), they're a nice size (I had several of these bottles in 32 oz before but I like the 40 oz better) and, best of all, there is no straw to deal with! I prefer this Cortland model to the Jackson model because the opening on the Jackson is too big for me and I end up spilling a lot. The AutoSeal on the Cortland bottle allows me enough control over the flow that I can actually drink from it while lying in bed at night, but still has enough flow that I can use it without trouble while running. Sadly, I can't seem to find the other colors for the Cortland anymore, but I will still keep buying these bottles for as long as possible, They're my favorite!
