I drink a ton of water on a daily basis. So I'm always on the lookout for bigger and better bottles. And eureka! I found Contigo- 32oz Ashland 2.0 with AutoSpout Lid Tritan Water Bottle Periwinkle. I love that I hold so much liquid and it's got the auto spout which lets me know that it still stays hygienic when I'm not sipping from it. It's locking mechanism so that the spout doesn't pop up on its own when being picked up is aces. If Scott it's handle to be able to carry with one finger or even clip on to a keychain. This is the first I see of this kind of bottle and I will never ever seek out another one.

The suction stops working after only a few months of use. I love Contigo water bottles but I can't find any with the screw straw on them in stores and these straws that just come out are awful. I've bought three the first didn't even work. I thought fine I'll try again bought two more one has completely lost suction the other is on the way out. What good is a water bottle if you can't drink out of it.

I am really liking this water bottle! It is easy to drink from. Having the straw means you don't have to tilt your head back to drink and the spout is nice to drink from. The handle at the top is a nice touch. The base of the bottle is a bit wide (it won't fit in my car cupholder). When the spout is locked water does not leak so I am able to put the bottle on the passenger seat in my car and I haven't had any water leaks. I like that it holds 32 oz. I know that if I only need to refill once during the day to get to my eight cups of water. The bottle is dishwasher safe but I have only washed by hand so I cannot attest to how it holds up in the dishwasher. The periwinkle color is a nice light blue and appealing for a water bottle.

Purchased the 32 oz and over time it became to leak if not upright. As well as not enough water coming out of straw and you can hear air as you sip. This bottle has always been hand washed and taken care of. Its also not the first contigo bottle to fail on us. Quite disappointed when I tried to fill out warranty in contact page and it wouldn't send the form. I purchased this as it said lifetime guarantee so I hope Contigo will make it right.

The bottle is also a decent size and holds alot of water. It comes with a long straw, which goes down to the bottom of the bottle. The straw has been useful, as it allows me to drink all the water from the bottom of my bottle. However, I feel like if the straw were shorter, I would be able to turn the bottle up to drink. It's not super quiet, (I probably wouldn't do it in a room with a just fallen asleep kid, if you know what that's like) but it's not distracting noise. I don't ever feel like I have to question if the spout locked or not. The construction of the entire lid seems like it has been an upgrade that Contigo has taken the time to do in their bottles, which honestly makes me more likely to buy them and recommend them to others.Now here is the important part.... drinking out of it. You know how with some water bottles that can have the pressure built up in them, similiar to styles like these? This one doesn't seem to have that issue. Like if I drink out of this bottle, I could drink out of it for a solid 30 seconds and not have to let go for any pressure issues. It also doesn't make any wind or whistling noises as I drink out of it. Drinking out of it, I get a constant flow of water, no air or any other issues. It flows really smooth through the mouthpeice. I don't feel like I need to readjust my mouth on the nozzle or my mouth gets too wet to hold onto it. Honestly, I have never had smoother drinks out of any other water bottle. It's like I'm pouring the water in my mouth more so than sucking it up. It takes very minimal sucking to bring the water up, which was a surprise since the bottle is pretty tall. I drink A LOT of water working out, I feel like I am in a constant state of thirst a lot and drinking out of this water bottle feels like I'm not having to wait to quench my thirst.My only complaint is that it doesn't seem like water stays cold in it for long periods of time, especially if it is left in a car. It works long enough to get cold water that lasts maybe for an hour, hour amd a half, which is good for a workout, but I wouldn't consider it to stay cold for longer than that.For a little while, I had lost my faith in Contigo with a water bottle I had previously gotten where the lid fell apart. However, my faith has been restored in them, and they have actually made me really enjoy their product again where I am likely to recommend them again.

The straw angle is difficult. It goes into the center of the bottle where the bump is at the bottom, so if you don't adjust it, you can't get any water out because the bump blocks it. And then when you do angle it, it angles away, making it more difficult to get the last little bit of water out. I don't like the new style of the handle at the top. I have to keep moving it when I set the bottle down and then want to drink. I loved the clip/carabiner function on the previous one, but there's no clip on this one. Compared to the previous model of this water bottle, this one is literal GARBAGE! I bought two of these due to my older version both starting to fail me after too many drops. I hate these new ones. For one, the straw is too long and always catches the bottom of the bottle, making it very difficult to actually suck up liquid. Two, the way the straw attaches is useless, the straw does not stay in where its supposed to, please bring back the "twist-on". Third, I miss the clip functionality of the lid, like why would you ever get rid of that????
I bought this water bottle in hopes that they had fixed the little flaws in the previous design, but this is the worst water bottle I have ever used. The straw has to sit in a precise position or you CANNOT drink, but you CAN cause a TMJ flare up when attempting to. After owning it for several months, the silicone port that holds the straw weakens, so now once I actually get the straw into a position where fluid can actually be extracted, I end up sucking up 75% air and 25% water.My only complaint with the previous design was that it would build up pressure if it sat in my vehicle for awhile, and when I would open it, it would shoot out and hit my face, my clothes, my seat, etc.bring the old design back and remove the pressure issue. I got most of the juice out of the sheets but some staining is going to be permanent.I own other Contigo products, stainless steel hot/cold vacuum sealed cups, other water bottles, and I have no problems with them.Don't you guys test your products? Also, the straw sucks, pun intended. It comes out of the lid too easily, and the length is messed up.I paid $22.00 each for two of these water bottle with real life volcanic action and I feel like I got ripped off and over charged for a crappy product. I will either throw both bottles away or gift them as a gag joke gift to someone I don't like.Thouroughly disappointed. Waste of money
