I was between giving this 3 or 4 stars, but for what I use it for it works fine so I went with the 4. This bottle is a great size at 32 oz (I feel like 20 oz bottles just aren't enough but 40 oz are too big) and is lightweight. Maybe I feel that way because I typically carry around a heavy metal bottle? Anyway, it comes with a straw (which I had to cut a bit of the tip off as it was too close to the bottom of the bottle, impeding water flow) and fits securely into the lid. It's shaped for comfortable grip with my small hands and also has a small carry handle that you can use or snap closed onto the lid. We went on a road trip and it was tossed everywhere, rolling on the floor of the car, in ice chest, etc. And didn't leak or come open once. I also liked that the mouthpiece was silicone feeling, so it was comfortable to use. The one huge design flaw is that there doesn't seem to be an air/vacuum release hole anywhere. So they went hardcore with leakproof design but without that you can't chug or drink large volumes of water at once unless you consistently stop drinking to let air back into the bottle. If you put something in it besides water, you may have an issue with mouthpiece spraying when opening to release pressure, but can't say for sure because I only used water. For me, I didn't use it while working out with the need to chug- just car hydration and a light hike. So it worked great for my needs, but wanted to review from a general perspective. Given what I've written, I would still say I'd recommend.

I highly recommend not purchasing this bottle if you have kids in the house…because they will steal it. It didn’t even last 2 hours in my possession before my 10 year old swiped it. So here are his thoughts. He loves the size as it fits perfectly in his backpack side pocket. The straw/spout is perfect and he does not feel like he had to suck hard on straw. He filled this up with ice and water in the morning and by lunch time it was still cold when he finished it. He also dropped it “at least 7 times” during the day at school and it held up perfectly. No cracks. It also didn’t leak at all during the day with all the backpack acrobatics he put it through. He loves the color as well and my 13 year old daughter has already said she is going to steal it too. This bottle holds a lot of water which is great for me to use daily. The bottle is easy to grip and drink from. There is a straw that you can sip from but I personally am not a fan. I feel like too much air builds when you suck too much/long and makes it so water isn't coming out as quickly. Not a big deal just my preference. The bottle is a really nice blue and it's so much better than a plastic bottle and nice that I can reuse it over and over. The bottle seems durable and it's easy to clean.Only thing I don't like about this bottle is that you have to push to release the lid. I've accidentally pushed it and opened the lid when I did not want to.Overall, it's a nice reusable water bottle and I would recommend
