Love these shaker bottles. We used to have all blender bottles but the lids kept breaking around the threads. These Contigo bottles have a much more durable design. You can tighten down the lid without feeling like it might crack the plastic. Also the mouth opening is much better; easier to open and close while still staying sealed. Plus it’s more comfortable to drink from having more rounded edges. In addition the the mixer ball is not only effective but it doesn’t get tangled up in the kitchen drawer like those spring whisk ball things. All around this product is our favorite of its kind.

I have used my large Contigo Byron mug for a solid two years; to say it keeps hot for 7 hours is optimistic if you are constantly drinking from it. Maybe it would remain hot if it's left untouched for the advertised 7 hours. Having said this, it keeps very hot for up to five hours for me, by which time, I will have thoroughly enjoyed my hot coffee at intervals throughout a working morning until lunch break. Those who experience leakage are likely overfilling in the first instance or perhaps crossing threads when screwing on the lid. Mine is ready for a new gasket teeny leakage has started due to its seal no longer being as tight) so I have ordered some to extend its use. Keeps the Joe warm but the lid is trash

This mug keeps my coffee warm for hours and I like that but their "seal technology" that they brag about is the worst part of mug. The plastic seal fell apart and I kept drinking in my coffee. Now it leaks very badly. I even dribble when drinking from it. To me it no longer can be used to drink from so what I do is just use it a thermos. I make enough coffee for two cups. Poor my 1st cup into a regular cup and then the 2nd into my know thermos that used to be my travel mug. When I ready for my 2nd cup of coffee I poor from my thermos (this product) into my regular cup. It works me at the office but is not what I had wanted when I bought this. I came to this site to find a replacement seal but they are not sold. Loved until it stopped insulating my iced coffee!

I LOVED my first Contigo Byron. I used it 24/7 for several months until one day if just stopped insulating my iced coffee and ice water, meaning that rather than keeping my cold drink cold with ice in the mug even after 8 hours, the ice was melted and the drinks were tepid within 2-3 hours at most. I was really disappointed because, as an adult, I don't need a sippy cup and that was essentially what I then had. I figured for the $12-13 I spent, the first mug should have lasted longer but maybe it was defective and no big deal and I had used it around the clock. I then purchased another one 16 days ago, and as of yesterday afternoon it also stopped insulating for more than a couple of hours. I don't understand. Make the quality better

I really like the way this mug looks, I like the weight of it, and I like drinking from it. What I don’t like is the quality of the metal it’s made with. After washing it out with dish soap I smelled the inside…it smelled metallic. I then washed the inside with water and baking soda and the odor went away. I made coffee and drank it from this mug. It was really good at first, but I did detect a small change in flavor the longer the coffee sat in it. Coffee is acidic so it could affect the metal. It doesn’t do this with my other mug, so my conclusion is that the quality of the metal is substandard compared to the other brand. Guys, raise your manufacturing standards and then charge a little more. This product is decent, but it could be excellent

Not sure how to put this

My family and I are huge fans of the entire line of Contigo products (although a bit pricey) My always go to for style, shape, and sizes are always the Huron Travel Mugs. I take one with me anywhere and everywhere I go from shopping or walking to traveling or just to visit family or friends. I would swear to anyone on this product #1 for how long a drink would stay cold. I was amazed to make a 12-14 hour trip/drive out west and just couldn't believe that my drink was still cold and not only cold but still had ice left, this was very impressive to me and my then finance'! Because I have been an extended customer to you and your products for a very long time I'm still going to stand by your products and because I'm a firm believer that everything has a hiccup from time to time and things do fall short of perfect so in my opinion your products are going to get the full 5*..However if my problems persist I'll be dropping the rating and will cheat searching for another product similar to yours and for much cheaper of a price.

Used to love their products...

It says Hot and Cold which it does a great job of keeping both temps where you want them for a long time. I still find ice in it after 12 hours of pouring liquid in over it.BUT the problem is if I have hot liquid in (tea) it leaks. I make sure the lid is on properly and I burp out the steam during the day. But it still leaks on me when I drink or pour it. It has also tipped over and leaked all over my car which I was not happy about. Leaking hot liquids can cause an injury. Maybe make a product for either or.I am a long time user of their mugs, back to when they first started selling at Costco. I have purchased so many for gifts and suggested them to perfect strangers. They charge a good amount for their products and I used to think it was worth it but not any more.

Very nice drink mug but...

I am on my third Contigo Byron 24 oz. Travel Mug. It is NOT because of any leak/seal problem. I don't know what the others are talking about. This lid system works great and no other brand has anything near as good. The reason for my mediocre review and the reason for having to buy replacements is the vacuum insulation (thermos) fails. I have not dropped, crushed, or damaged the mug in any way. It has never been in the dishwasher and never had hot drinks in it - only cold drinks. After a few months of use, it no longer keeps the drink cold and the outside of the mug sweats like no insulation at all. It really disappoints me because this is a very nice mug. It's size and capacity fit my daily routine perfectly. The lid is easy to use and I have never had a leak.
