Only done around 200km on these. Can't really say much about wear and reliability but so far so good. Tyre is small for 700x32. Tread depth is larger than most with defined knobs. Rubber is hard and showing no sign of any wear after 200km, should last. Being harder rubber the traction isn't as good, I've noticed the rear being squirmish when pushed hard on hard surfaces, may improve once tyre has time to wear in. Puncture resistance is my main concern, I use my bike for delivery work. Time will tell but so far so good

These tires are the best. I installed these tires and immediately went on a 20 mile ride on a dirt and gravel trail, these tires are smooth as butter. The only real negative reported in the reviews was installation difficulties. In anticipation of this potential issue, I put these tires out in the hot sun for about 40 minutes before doing the install. After they were warmed up I mounted these tires with no difficulty at all, i didn’t even use a tire tool.

I ride trails with crushed gravel cover, about rice crispy sized, and the occasional paved trail or road. This tire is a pretty good compromise for this, it does have enough side bite for the gravel, and the center rib rides well on hard surfaces. They were easy to mount with no tire irons and seem to be just what I was looking for. I know some people have said the smaller size of this style is hard to mount, and I am sure rims vary, so your result may not be the same. We'll see how they hold up, I ride around 2,000 miles per year, so it won't be long. And even at the price, I could afford to replace them every year and not be too put out. I will leave a star out for not knowing the wear. My last set of another brand of tire did not make the year. I've only had these a few days. I put these on my mountain bike and got rid of the knobly tyres because I only cycle on roads. I certainly noticed the reduced rolling resistance immediately. I only wish they could tolerate a slightly higher pressure than 58 psi.
I purchased this tire recently for my wife's Performer tadpole recumbent. It had its original rear tire and it was time for a change. I had just put some new 20" tires on the fronts and this 28" rear matched the two of them. It seems to have a great ride quality and she just calls it a "boss" tire. That pretty much says it all!
Very smooth tires installed on my GT mountain bike. City and suburban street riding can't be more pleasant these Spring and Summer days. Sturdy and tough for any pavement as advertised. Well built and I give a grade "A" for excellent! Size 26" 1.75" Continental Ride Tours.
i bought these (from a different store) in the 42mm size, and the quick summary was that i was disappointed overall.Size - they weren't even close to 42mm wide. When inflated past the safe limit, they would be maybe 38mm. The reason I wanted the 42mm was for a fatter and more comfy tire during my daily commute on our rough Ottawa roads. The stock tires were 32mm and - white light and nice on smooooth pavement - I really needed something significantly bigger. These just weren't enough.Fit - they were nice and were easy to put on the rims, no levers needed. No manufacturing defects at all. Technically speaking they were good.Road feel - at pressure just below the max rating (around 60psi) they were actually worse than the factory Giant S-X3 tires from my ... Morei bought these (from a different store) in the 42mm size, and the quick summary was that i was disappointed overall.Size - they weren't even close to 42mm wide. They felt heavy, sluggish, and even a bit squirmy.Alternatives - i returned these and picked up the City Ride Ii tires in a 37 front and 47 rear (different stores), and like those quite a bit more. See review there.
These tyres are just the right width for my Mavic hardtail rims. Perfect for cruisy paths and a bit of hard gravel if needed. Continental make such great touring and light commuting tyres!
I bought these tires "Continental Ride Tour Rigid Black / White 26 x 1.75". I need them for an urban bicycle, to move mainly on asphalt. The shipment has been fast and without problems, delivered without any problem at the selected collection point. I like this collection option very much, and it is one of the reasons why I like to shop at BikeInn. The tires look great. To my surprise they come with reflective bands, which is great for urban use. The durability will tell the time, but the first impression is very good for a prestigious brand like Continental.
