Do not buy!!

This is the flimsiest crate I have ever bought. Having purchase over a dozen of these in my life, this brand is by far the poorest quality. One of the latches broke the very first night, the door close latch does not line up and my 9 week old French Bulldog puppy chewing on one of the bars caused it to snap!

Great product

We own a 40lb doodle pup that will grow to be about 80lbs. So we were looking for a crate that would work for him now and at his final weight and size. This product certainly fits the bill. The quality is there, with good joints and a strong door. I have only 3 gripes. 1. The divider is not easy to put in or take out. You really do need 2 people to do it. 2. The door is not the smoothest to open or close. 3. The feet on the bottom are not large enough to properly keep the metal portions of the crate off the ground. This is probably still one of the best crates on the market for the price and we would buy it again (or the next size up if we need to).

Love the double door

I love the upgraded door system that requires it to be lifted to be closed, and then the slide lock engaged. I’ve been using these crates for a couple decades and they’ve never failed me.

My dog willingly goes into the kennel.

I have found it necessary to kennel my dog when I leave on errands. She willingly goes in the kennel. It is very sturdy.

My favourite crate!

We've had a few crates over the years and they are all much of a muchness. However, I really like the way the doors latch on this one. You can simply lift it up and over the little lug at the bottom for a quick shut option, or if you have a rowdy inhabitant, you can also slide across the latch in a traditional manner. Hard to explain, but a neat function. I take one to dog training regularly (it folds up as you would expect although with a big dog it is heavy) and I also pair it with the Midwest Crate Cover which is also nice and light, but provides a visual barrier if things are getting a little exciting outside!

Quality

Great quality. All in one piece, folds into the crate and easily collapses to put away and carry with a handle. The two door feature is such a great feature. Comes with a handle on top so you can easily transport. The divider comes in handy so when the pup grows, you can expand the size inside.

Roomy but rattly

We bought this product mostly because of the vertical lift feature of the door hinge and the two-door access options which is great for all sorts of configurations (against different walls, corners etc). We like the size and customizable interior of the XL crate for our growing puppy (husky/shepard mix). This is definitely an at home crate vs. care crate. The only issue we have is that compared to our first crate (same company, large single door, 2 locks) is that this crate is very rattly. We crate our dog during sleeping hours and every time he kicks in his sleep or adjusts, it makes a clangy metallic sound that wasn't expected. Would not recommend for the bedroom but would recommend overall.

This crate has it all!

So many little features i didnt know I needed! Divider for limiting your puppys room, 2 doors which make crate training easier, and a double locking door which prevents my little one from knocking the latch loose and escaping. It also has a very sturdy bottom that is easy to clean!

Would buy again but probably won't need to since this crate Is well built

Easy to assemble and to fold for easy storage or to bring in the car/truck. Makes way less noise when our puppy moves around due to the high quality flooring. Rubber pieces stop the crate from moving on the floor. Great crate.
