Best stylist walking shoes! Runs true to size, tad bit roomy- I lace tighter to eliminate slipping up and down. Wore platforms, black with black laces and white with white laces while on vacation, 9 days 8 nights.; walked 20k -25k steps a day; feet never hurt. Best walking shoes; can be dressed up or down. Just ordered amethyst platforms and black shoelaces!

These shoes arrived even faster than promised (a real plus), but unfortunately they run a little large. I normally wear a 7.5-8 and ordered 7.5. I could have gotten away with a 7 but I don't want to go thru the hassle of exchanging, so I'll just up the sox. They're a little heavy (they ARE platforms) and a little stiff in the sole. I'm used to wearing Sketchers which have a lot of flexibility, but I'm needing a pair of shoes to support an arthritic toe joint, so a stiffer sole is perfect for me. If you like your shoes flexible, keep this in mind. Other than being a tiny bit large (which will be remedied with sox), they're great. And the service was awesome! I will definitely order again from Converse!

I have worn these wonderful shoes several times! I love them!! I know shoes, I am a runner. Now I don't go running in these shoes, however I do go shopping and exploring new cities! They are super comfortable and supportive! You need that on uneven concrete pavement. And they are super cute!! Thank you!!

The shoe itself is super cute and definitely brings lift. HOWEVER, I am normally a size 6.5W in Converse (normally a 7 in all other shoes). I ordered a half size down so size 6W and it was BIG. It slipped off from the back of my heel so I did an exchange and got a 5.5W. Put them on and they STILL slip off the back of my heel.. I got tired of doing the most for these shoes so I just bought rubber heel stickers so it doesn’t slip off my heel and I tie them pretty tight. Perhaps these types of shoes run bigger than the high tops. I have 7 other pairs all high tops and all 6.5W. Still cute and would purchase another low top lift pair now that I am aware.
I usually get regular low tops and have been for over thirty years. I decided to get the platforms for the summer because they are cute and go well with dresses as well as pants. These run a little big so I went went the suggested half size down, a full size down was too small but these were slightly too big. Nothing that would stop me from keeping them. I do however, dislike the laces. They are rather thin and I don't know if they will hold up so I just ordered a pair of standard low top laces to replace them. Overall a great shoe.
I love these platform Converse! They are cushioned and give me support with each step. They are comfortable and durable. I just returned from a week long trip to New York City. I wore them each day as I walked through the city. Through rain and shine I felt like I was walking on springy clouds that allowed me to traverse the city with ease and comfort m. I absolutely love them!
I have not yet worn them. I live in Canada. I was visiting my daughter in NYC. I tried on a 7, regular fit with lift. I called converse to ask if the wide fit would change my size 7. I was told no. The wide fit is not sold in Canada. My neice brought them back to Canada for me after she visited her cousin. The size 7 wide was HUGE! Now I have to find some way to return them back to the US. They need to be returned. I might have to get the regular fit here in Canada. I was so looking forward to the wide fit. The shoes looked great and I was so looking forward to wearing them
They do run large so go a half size down. I accidentally ordered my regular size and it was big. The ease of making a return, printing a return mail label and getting another pair in smaller size was EASY AND FAST! Best customer service I’ve had in a long time! I mailed the unwanted size back and got the replacement shoes a day later. They fit perfectly, look great and are comfortable! I’m a long time Converse wearer and love my chucks! First time pair of platform ones and I love them! Would highly recommend buying directly from Converse for good service, fast shipping, good pricing, and Authentic Chucks.
As a woman of a wonderful age with not so wonderful feet, I thought my cute shoe days were over! Not so! These platform Chucks were comfortable right out of the box without my insoles( don’t tell my podiatrist 😁). Wore them through two airports on a five day trip across the country. So many compliments! Girls, get yourself a pair and let’s walk forward together!!!
Absolutely love the look of these shoes with pants, shorts and sporty dresses. I greatly prefer Canvas to leather for the summer and the platform offers nice height. These shoes are a bit on the heavy side and while the soles are cushiony, they are also pretty inflexible. I do wish I’d followed the recommendation to go down a half size. I’m between a 6 1/2 and 7 so I stuck with 6 1/2 but definitely could’ve done a 6. I get some slippage in the back.
