I was so excited when these leather Chucks delivered! Opening the box and seeing the leather in that bright Egret color was so satisfying and immediately got me picturing outfits to style these with. I really love the look and the fact that they can really be dressed up or down.I was expecting these to feel very heavy and stiff with the leather, but they are actually very soft and I think will only get better as I wear them in. I received these Chuck 70 LEATHER Hi Egret for my husband, and I am pleasantly surprised with these shoes. They exceeded his expectations in both comfort and style. The leather material adds a sense of high end shoe wear, but also ensures durability without compensating on the aesthetic of the shoe. They are true to size fit, and take a couple of wears to break in, but that is expected with all converse. The versatility of this style is what really sets them apart from the normal converse as you can pair them with jeans and shorts for a more casual look, or wear them for a classy dressed up look. These have become his go to shoes for any day of the week. I recommended these if you are looking for something unique, stylish, and comfortable.

I love these Converse. I have several pair and these are on the top of my favorites. The leather is buttery soft and not stiff at all. They required no break in time and are perfect to wear with a dress or jeans. The leather is bright white which I love. They are super versatile and comfortable. Both pluses in my book. I sized down half a size as they suggested and they fit just perfectly. The gray line on the rubber part adds some dimension too which is nice. The only reason I took off one star is for the color of the sole & rubber. The leather is bright white and the rubber parts lean a tinge yellow, I had wished for them to be bright white as well. However, this won’t stop me from wearing them though. If you are wanted an elevated style Converse I recommend these.
I love these leather Converse Chuck 70’s. The two tone white is nicely done and very on trend right now. They fit true to size and are very comfortable. I was worried the leather might make them stiff feeling but after wearing a full day they are just as comfortable as my other Converse. I received several compliments on them and people were impressed with the design and material. I love the look and design. The white is very crisp and clean looking. The leather is soft and feels like good quality leather that should last. The only thing I would change was the shoelaces need to be a little longer. The laces were too short to lace all the way up and tie.
The Chuck 70 Leather Hi Black fits pretty snug, but like most Converse, you'll need to break them in. After a few wears, you can start to feel them loosening.The leather, right out of the box, looks very much like plastic or vinyl. You'll realize it's real leather when the smell hits your nose. It may also be the shiny, galosh/rain boot rubber toe and sole that makes the leather look cheap at first.Like most Converse, they aren't great out of the box you truly need to wear them awhile before they start looking great. I’d still prefer the classic canvas, but the leather is a bit more dressy. The Converse logo being in the inside is also a nice touch to keeping it a little more on the dressy side.
