If shoes could talk they would have so many stories to talk about that you would want these shoes to shut the heck up haha 😆 so many core memories and so many friendships made wearing these shoes and so many decisions I had to choose. So many adventures these shoes helped me walk and run though sometimes I’d sit and ponder and didn’t know what to do. So many highs and lows these shoes have been though with me. I had a couple pair not 2, but 3. So many rainy wet days these shoes have been though. We both got dirty, but we’re still brand new. So many smiles, so many frowns, so many ups, and so many downs. So many stains we made together both on the shoes and on my life. These are the shoes I was wearing when I met my wife. Converse is a core memory of my childhood ... So I absolutely love my shoreline converse. Not many sneakers compare to the comfort of these for me. The stretchy back the bit of padding. And just wide enough for my foot.... usually. Here's where the star was knocked off. I've found that sizing with this brand can be inconsistent. Which is super frustrating especially when ordering online. Another issue I have is the overall quality. These aren't cheap for a canvas pair of sneakers. Which is okay like I said mega comfortable for me. What is upsetting is all of the pairs I have owned have ended up with holes where the canvas meets the rubber bottom. It's not a me problem as I don't wear these for anything heavy duty as they're not made for that nor do they wear in the same spots. So that leads me to it's the shoe. ... I'm a faithful Converse Chucks fan! I've been wearing them since high school, in the mid 80s. They are very comfortable and they last for years. They are very durable and extremely high quality. I gave it four stars instead of five because I have flat feet, no arches, so I have to buy insoles for them. I am a shoe collector, and the majority of my shoes, I DO NOT have to purchase inserts for them. Chuck's I do. Other than that, it's a fantastic shoe! You can dress them up or down, and they are always stylish looking. If you haven't tried them, I highly recommend you do. You'll love these kicks!

I’ve been a “Converse Gal” since I was a little girl. I’m turned 56 two days ago and I will ALWAYS choose Converse! In January of 2023, I decided to get my two “Go To Shoes” replaced with new ones. I always keep a white pair as well as a black pair. The ones I replaced were 10+ years old and actually in really good shape as far as the soles as well as the canvas material. Other than the black pair getting a little faded and the white ones not as WHITE WHITE as they used to be they are still my favorites and have held up very well! It's all 3 Cs - Classic, Chic, and Comfortable. I could probably think of more wonderful descriptions (current, coveted...) because I absolutely love these. I've had a white pair for many years and they are finally needing replacement. I will keep my old ones as my garden shoes because it's so easy to slip them on while heading out the door to work in the yard. When ordering my replacement white pair, I also ordered a pair of black ones. I love those just as much. I am a true 7.5 in shoes but I wear a size 7 in these. They are a little snug when new but will fit perfectly in a week. I do not like wearing socks as I live in a humid southern state so these are perfect for me.
. I like the fact I can throw it on and go. Convenient. I purchased the same sneakers at DSW at a lower price. However, there is a difference for sure. The quality, shape and fit is better from macys. Not sure why. The toe shape is a little bit almond like from macys which is what I like, but from DSW, it's very round. The fit is narrow which I like, the fit is dsw is wide and clunky. There's a reason why it's cheaper there I suppose. Better quality is why I chose to buy from macys. True to size.
My wife wore down her first pair of these, so I wanted to get her some fresh new kicks. She really likes how easy they are to put on without having to tie the laces or worry about them coming undone.Converse shoes typically run small just because they're super narrow. My wife typically a women's size 9-9.5, but with her first pair she got a size 10. This new pair seems to fit ever so slightly bigger to her though. I put them next to each other and saw a few millimeter difference between the two. A 10 on a typical shoe would be big for my wife, so not sure if she should have gone down half a size for these knowing that they run narrow.In any case, they still look great on her, and now she has a new pair of these sneakers to rock.

The wonderful ladies at the store know me and we all pray that Converse never stops making these and my boyfriend and I are seriously just considering buying her size and the next size in bulk in the event that they do. She has cerebral palsy and the use of only one of her hands so her being able to put these on by herself has given her freedom to dress alone and as a 16 yr old that means the world to her. they are comfortable, flexible and they go with anything that she puts on and they stand up to her and her adventures because she does not let her abilities slow her down we have always looked at this as abilities ... These are my favorite version of converse. They go with everything, they’re comfortable and easy to wear. Please start including the shoreline in all of your fun floral prints. I was bummed when they weren’t included in the succulent line. I finally wore a hole in my leopard print ones and my husband replaced them with a custom pair. He wasn’t able to select the shoreline so he picked the other slip on with the elastic band across the top. I love that he made them just for me but I can’t even wear them because the fit is just awful. They are so tight and uncomfortable so all I can do is look at them. It’s a shame. I would really love to show them off.
In my opinion you cannot go wrong with Converse. The shoes last and last and last and are so comfortable and easy to clean. I’m in between a 5 1/2 - 6 size so I adjust with the thickness of socks. Size 6 is more in line with what I need and since I love the slip ons it’s on me regarding the size. Having laces they would probably fit an actual size, however the slip ons are worth adjusting. My lace ups fit true to size. I love love Converse shoes. I wish I had 10 pair of the black/white slip ons. They are my go to color for my style of casual clothing.
