If you’re looking for a shoe that’s great for getting you around town while pulling your outfit together, these are my go-to. Let’s get the downside out of the way…there’s only one. I usually wear an 8.5 but sized down to an 8 which fit, overall, well, but causes me to give 4 stars instead of 5 because of how snug the shoes were on the widest part of my foot. I felt it needed a little wider foot bed. Aside from that, I love these shoes. The design is fun with the classic star on the back (bonus points for having the tread up the back so it’s doesn’t wear out from driving or from closing doors with your heel). The shoes are comfy enough that you could wear them all day and still keep them on when you switch to an evening outing. Lastly, the footbed is a great mix of firm with enough give, you’ll keep picking to wear them over all your other shoes. I promise.

These shoes are beautiful. As soon as I opened the box, I knew these were going to be my new favorite sneakers. The color and style was the first thing to catch my attention. They almost appear lavender in color and that is one of my favorite colors to wear. The soles are solid and I feel like i could handle any terrain, whether im chasing my kid at the park or through a geocery store!I could not wait to try them on!However, they are too small. I always thought Converse ran a little big so when they didn't have my usual size it was recommended to go half a size smaller. Turns out, they are quite tight. My toes would be okay if the shoe themselves weren't so slim on the sides.I am hopeful they will stretch with wear and then fit like a glove. These are my ... MoreThese shoes are beautiful. I received the Converse Run Star Trainer and I love, love, love these shoes!!! I have always loved Converse shoes, but these are by far the most comfortable! I am very boring when it comes to shoes (I only buy black, white, gray, or brown shoes), so getting the red and pink Converse Run Star Trainer was a little out of the norm for me. The colors are bright and pop, and I couldn’t be more excited to try them out. The inside of the shoe feels like memory foam, and still provides great support when walking/running on roads. I wear a size 8.5 shoe, and these fit perfectly. They weren’t too tight, but still snug enough that your feet aren’t sliding around when walking/running. The shoe has some suede material on the toe/tongue and back ankle area. I love the that they ... MoreI received the Converse Run Star Trainer and I love, love, love these shoes!!! The fact that these make my boring outfits pop is my favorite thing about them. There truly is nothing I would change about these shoes!

I feel so chic in these shoes! I have been looking for a slim, off white athletic fashion trainer and the look of the Star Runner for the bill perfectly. These are definitely “fashion” shoes - not shoes that I would use for an athletic purpose. Love that these will be versatile for the seasons. I’m looking forward to wearing these with dresses this summer and cropped jeans in the fall. I wouldn’t use them for exercise as the sole completely flat and therefore not much support.I took away one star for fit. I love that these have a slim look; however, I have to get my foot exactly into the shoe a certain way for it to be comfortable. My feet aren’t wide and sometimes I still have to adjust so the shoe doesn’t feel too tight. Also, the shoes are stiff. Hopefully as ... MoreI feel so chic in these shoes! Absolutely love these shoes! I'm always looking for the perfect blend of comfort and style, and these shoes check both boxes. When they first arrived, I was unsure if the back would cause blisters, but that has not been the case. The heels are nicely padded, which I love. The cushion at the bottom was also unexpected - it's super soft and supportive like memory foam. And the laces (normally an afterthought for me) are nicer and more durable than other pairs of shoes I own.The fit feels true to size. I've also received quite a few compliments on the style and that I was a "cool mom", so I'll take that as a win! The fabric is high quality but feels like it may be hard to clean. Not the biggest deal, but will have to be careful to keep them clean. My favorite thing ... MoreAbsolutely love these shoes! When choosing shoes for my kids, I want function, but they prefer fashion.I’ve been very impressed that the Chuck Taylor Run Star Trainers have both. My daughter loves the flexible soles of the Run Star Trainers. They are lightweight and very comfortable for her. They slip on smoothly. I love that the laces stay tied! If you’re a parent, you know …! These shoes fit exactly as expected and make her feel like she’s running faster. The blue suede fabric is vibrant, and cleans easily. The long shoelaces match the shoes exactly, and adds to the cool factor. The length meant we were able to lace up the top eyelet and make the shoes fit even better for her. As soon as I opened the box my heart leapt...I fell instantly in love with these Converse Run Star Trainer. The colors are so well chosen by whoever desinged it. I was so excited and happy to be the owner of this gorgeousness! The Converse Run Star Trainer are the perfect fit. I am not talking only about size, I am also referring to the eye catching design, comfort and feel. They are so comfortable and light weight that I feel as if I am only wearing socks and walking on a cloud or on cotton candy. Its colors do actually remind me of pink cotton candy and the happy childhood times! The materials used are of very high quality materials which makes it look even more luxurious. These are the perfect combination of sneakers and street shoes. They've got nice thick grip on the bottoms so I had no problems walking or running all over with them in the city, but they're low key enough to wear with most things. They have a canvas and suede design and the perfect black with just a pop of white leather made them easy to wear with jeans, pants, skirt, shorts. My 13 year old daughter wanted a pair in her size, so I'd say the design is good for many ages! When I wear shoes with ties I want them to be easy to put on, and these were good! The tongue was a bit flimsy, but that did make it easy to put on. Comfort and fit are a big deal to me since I have wide feet. The tongue was a bit flimsy, but that did make it easy to put on. Comfort and fit are a big deal to me since I have wide feet. These had a nice light cushioning on the soles although they were a little narrow near the width of my toes. As I wore them they stretched a bit but it was notable when I tried them on. I wore them with short socks but they probably look better with no-show or long socks if you have chunky ankles like me.
These shoes are so fun, the mixed colors of them are unique and pleasing to the eyes. I also like the mixed materials on the shoes, they are suede but also have a breathable mesh material. The shoes are lightweight making them feel nice to wear around. The design of these is nice, they have a sporty look but can be dressed up since they have suede. They fit good as well, I wear a 7.5 and the length is perfect. Width wise they fit a little bit snug so it you are looking for a bit of a looser and roomier fit I would order a half size up. The material is comfy, it can stretch as you move your foot so that the shoes don't fit too tight. I have worn these shoes for walking on the treadmill, for outdoor walks, and for daily wear. As someone who tends to not spend money on high end, big name brand shoes, the Converse Run Star Trainer met most of my needs for everyday wear. Converse is a classic brand with style that lasts the test of time, and these shoes are no different! I loved the navy on the white and having a tan sole with great traction. The fabric was soft and had a retro vibe. Not all shoe brands carry both style and quality - Converse is a brand I trust to meet both standards. The first day I broke into the pair, the shoes felt stiff, but by the 4th day of wear, I felt comfortable running errands and going from place to place. The pair is true to size. The one thing I would change about these pair of shoes are the insoles - for this busy mom on the go, I wish it had more cushion. ... MoreAs someone who tends to not spend money on high end, big name brand shoes, the Converse Run Star Trainer met most of my needs for everyday wear.
