It’s a very “wow” in your face scent. A FRESH and ozonic vibe, with a hint of a citrusy powder likeness that makes its appearance after the initial wave. A bit of pineapple and berry that is in the dry down as well. So what’s not to love? Personally, Musk can be a tricky note for me. Depending how it’s formulated I can love it or It can give me the biggest nauseating headache. The musk in Cool Water by Davidoff is extremely aggressive and SHARP. And it remains so from the first spray all the way to the dry down. Other than that it is very well ... The Top notes are listed as " Citrus, Quince, Black Currant , Pineapple, honeydew, lotus blossom, Water Lily/ Mid notes - Mayross, Jasmine, Muguet /Drydown scent Orris , Vetiver, Sandalwood. " now all of this comes together in the most beautiful way possible. I'm so glad I finally read what the notes of this luscious scent were cause it totally made sense reading the top notes through mid note , all the way to drydown, it's just so lovely I highly recommend giving it a try, it truly is a classic beautiful scent that is so affordable for the quality the scent lasts all day , not in the least bit overpowering just enchanting like I stated, I hope this ... was gifted me to try! The scent is very calm with aquatic notes, just like sitting by the ocean and smelling and feeling the salty breeze and crashing ocean waves! Plus I get hits of, fruits and woods. Top notes are luscious, cool and aquatic with Citrus, Honeydew Melon, Quince, Pineapple, Lotus and Lily. Heart notes are gentle flowers; May Rose, Jasmine and Muguet.It's a floral aquatic, soft and a very refreshing scent. It starts off with tangy citrus with the hint of fruitiness in it which is very refreshing!Davidoff Cool Water for Women is a more affordable perfume but worth every penny, I my opinion!
Always get compliments on the aroma and that it’s not overwhelming at all. Often told its lovely or nice and then ask the name of my perfume. A perfume should be “hinted” not “eye watering.”Every time someone comments about it, I always double check that it’s not too heavy or overwhelming. Especially if I had JUST applied it. When I compliment someone on their cologne or perfume, I always add that it’s not overwhelming so they don’t have to wonder, like I do.
Don't buy this. It smells nothing like the many bottles of Cool Water that I have bought in the last 20 years! And when I tried to return item I find out that I can't return it to the store. It says that I need to contact the seller for returns.Well... I have tried to contact them and I haven't gotten any response at all.Guess I'm just screwed! I really don't think I will continue to order from Walmart. There seems to be some problem or issue with almost every order. Wrong item, wrong name, wrong quantity, etc. All I know is that I never have any problems with ordering from Target or Amazon.Do better Walmart! And for goodness sake... take back this stinky Cool Water!!! 😡
I used to wear this years ago and didn’t release it was still around (most products get discontinued). So I got this and it was it a real blast from the past. I had forgotten how gorgeous this scent was and a little goes a long way. I used two squirts either side initially and this I found was a bit much so have halved the sprits to one either side of my neck and it’s so lovely to have the scent waft around me all day. There is something both soothing and energising about this scent. I am so glad I got it again. So recommend!
I have been using this for over 25 years. It is the only fragrance I use. I'm so happy that I found Fragrance X. The price is so much better than buying from a retail store. I always buy the tester. I really dont care what type of box it has. It's a few dollars cheaper which helps on a fixed income. I receive so many compliments from people saying "you smell so good!", and many say they know it's Cool Water! I have no interest in any wearing anything else. By the way, I'm a young 73 year old woman who always wants to look and smell good, so I do my hair & makeup and a spray of Cool Water everyday even if I don't leave the house. If you haven't tried this fragrance before I suggest you do. I'm positive you will love it!!
This has been my only fragrance for 20 years. Wherever I go someone compliments me. Many say "oh, Cool Water, I love it". Others ask me what I'm wearing because it smells wonderful. I don't actually smell it on me after a while but others do. It's not overpowering and not sweet. It' just has a wonderfully clean and fresh smell. I'll never wear anything else. I also recommend Fragrance X to anyone who asks. You have the absolute best prices and this is true product, not a knockoff.
