Aerator came off the pivot when I poured the glass. Made a complete mess. Tried again, being more careful with the pour, and the same thing happened. The aerator is poorly designed.

I've only used it twice and I used it in conjunction with the larger needle. The aerator acts like a shower head exposing the wine to air as it fills your glass. I am not an expert on aeration, so I can't judge if this is perfect or excessive aeration, but it sure does aerate the wine in my experience. The aerated wine tasted excellent, but then, I try to buy good wine that tastes excellent anyway!
I bought this so I could aerate wines quickly. This is especially useful if you forget to decant wine before cooking dinner and you're ready to start enjoying your wine. Well priced and fits easily on my Coravin system
Gave a Coravin system to friend for Christmas and noticed the aerator that came with it. I did a little research and quickly purchased it. It worked great.
I'm shocked how many restaurants and cruise ships that have very high end wines and are not able to decant your selection! This spray aerator attachment solves the problem, I take it with me (and my Coravin 5) when I travel and go out to a highend establishments of my personal wine service :)The devise has stunned many Sommeliers - I even used it a Napa Valleys most famous winery Stag's Leap wine cellars where they were using a Coravin on a $500 bottle of wine I was tasting! They were shocked how much better their own product tasted we the spray decanter attachment!
My last comments were not favorable . I should have viewed the cleaning video. Although it is not easy to separate the cap and the y shaped plastic in the beginning, its easy if you have a small flat head screwdriver. Works well.
I bought this 'Timeless Aerator' several years ago - back when it cost $65. After light to moderate use (3-4 times a month), the rubber around the back ring is torn, making the product useless (see photo). The aerator is a tight fit on the spout of the main Coravin device, which has a sharp metal edge. It seems to me this is a design weakness - after so many times of pushing the aerator on the Coravin spout, it is bound to eventually fail. Or perhaps that's by design! I guess the only up side is a new one is now priced at less than half what I paid for it.
It’s a cute little device. Compact and well engineered. If you are using a Coravin, you should get it. But I would prefer a more reasonable price. If you have a younger wine, you still have to let it air out in a decanter for an hour. This isn’t that good.
