These are saucer size! Mine only measure 6.5 inches. That size is the entire plate-not the inside eat the food off the plate size. I didn't realize that extra length would be a big difference but it is. Maybe others eat less but I'd have to eat from three of these "lunch plates" to become full. Did I mention these are smaller than a imagined and measured. Quality is great so there's stars for that!

Worth the hype. These plates are beautiful and so lightweight. Beauty meets functionality. Awesome combo for homes with kids! You can have pretty plates and not be worried about them breaking.

Oh my gosh I love these plates so much!!! I'm a mom with wild littles and I care about our environment so I was looking for something lightweight and easy to handle for my littles. My mother in law gave us a set of corelle dishes years ago and I am obsessed with them. They have been dropped more than once and still hold it down. This new set has such a beautiful modern design I just love and they are the same beautiful quality. Overall I love these and have gotten rid of pure glass dishes from my home, everything has been replaced with these little gems. I have a family of 4 and this set more than serves us for our meals. Lovely table ware!!! I wanted to transition to lighter-weight dishes, and wanted attractive, unbreakable dishes and was so pleased to find these! They are so pretty, very light-weight, and clean perfectly in the dishwasher. Find a pattern you like and enjoy!!
I'm a devoted Corelle user and have tried all kinds even non-Corelle vitrielle/vitreous glass plates and bowls. None are quite as durable as the classic white. The non-Corelle are the worst of course. But I also found the Corelle's various fashion prints, embossed, square and other new shapes to be less durable... less resistant to chips and breakage. The classic white in the traditional shapes last the longest. They go with everything. Of course I will still buy fun prints and new shapes to add to my collection. But the core of my collection and dishes I use everyday is the classic white Corelle. Which is why I purchased two more sets of these white bowls. I already have a large stack but with everyone quarantined at home eating three meals a day, even my rather ... I already have a large stack but with everyone quarantined at home eating three meals a day, even my rather large collection is not enough to keep up and keep me from washing dishes 24-7. But I'm happy to have a good reason to buy more Corelle, because they last so long I hardly buy any except to replace broken ones. And on this topic, while they are resistant to breaking and can withstand some drops, every once in a while when they land on the floor just right they will break. When that happens, they don't just break in half, they shatter into a hundred small shards, so do take special care to sweep, vacuum, and discard. I wished they broke like safety glass, into cubes, but they don't.They stack well and save so much space in my cabinets. In the same space where I can stack 6-8 regular bowls, I can stack 20 of these. Also these classic shape cereal bowls stack better than the new shape cereal bowls. Both Corelle but you can see in my attached picture what a huge difference a tweak in shape made to stack-ability. The classic shape nests so much better and is more space saving. This also applies to how they fit in dishwasher racks...They wash up well in the dishwasher and always come out dry, shiny, and clean. No nooks and crannies to trap water. They are so easy to store and clean and I can have so many that I never need paper/disposable when having a gathering.I love these dishes and highly recommend them to anyone interested in light, space saving, well-stacking, easy to clean, long lasting, chip resistant dishes. Just remember, they are thin, light, and glass. They will feel like thin, light glass so don't compare them to or expect them to feel like ceramic or porcelain.Note: Corelle logo on the backside of the dishes has evolved and changed through the years. I attached a picture of all the various Corelle logos. Some of my dishes are 20+ years old! I know I have authentic Corelle because I buy through reputable retailers or directly from Corelle.
Corelle are the best dishes for me. They last forever, clean up well, and are easy to store on cabinets. There are still some 60s golden butterfly tableware in rotation. The white are so versatile and the smaller plates are great for me.
These are my favourite good quality very sturdy not easily chipped bowls for every day use. They are the perfect size for me and a great price. They will last years. Dishwasher and microwave safe. They never stain and no problems with absorbing the colour or smells of foods. Easy to clean.
They are awesome. We love eating on this light weight durable plates. I have 3 small children and the small platea are perfect. My husband has drooped 2 dinner plates and no chip or breaks love them. Super happy with my purchase.
Perfect dishes I've been looking for. Light, versatile, and good price. And the white clean design is best for all kinds food. The back stamp was different from the corelle I have, but I believe it is original corelle. At first, the dishes were a little oily. I think it's because it's new. It was washed clean. I will use it everyday. I love it.
