I got 2 sets of these for my mother-in-law for Christmas. She needed some lighter dishware after shoulder surgery. The design is great, square plates and bowls are definitely different. The bowl is nice and deep, unlike her previous dishes, I prefer that. The salad plate is a great size for most meals, I have a feeling the dinner plates will see less use. We use Corelle in our camper, and my grandparents always had it, I hope these hold up just as well. Overall, she was very happy.

I was looking for a new dish set. The one I had even though it was dishwasher & microwave safe seemed to get VERY hot in the microwave; some pieces actually broke apart in it. VERY disheartening with the amount of money I had spent. So I started looking at dishes AGAIN. I had a Corelle Butterfly Gold set years ago which withstood EVERYTHING but it was a basic dish design. My how times have changed. The Kyoto Leaves set is absolutely beautiful & AMAZING! The design is elegant. The dinner plates are large & can hold an entire meal easily. The cups are a nice size. Ordered this style because I wanted the square design. Unfortunately, it seems to be on its way to being phased out. The price on this website is still reasonable while other sellers are price gouging ($250/set at this one site!). The designs are pretty limited in this website though. I was looking for a particular style but settled on this. The quality per price is excellent. My go to dishes have always been Corelle for almost 2 decades now. They last really long and have broken under 10 pieces with over 160 plus items I have had.The item was well packed. Arrived a bit too long in my estimation but hey, as long as the items inside are all intact and nothing broke, I'm cool with that.Overall, very satisfied with this purchase and will keep buying Corelle.
I bought this to mix with a set of Kyoto night to provide some coordinated color variety. These are our everyday dishes. One bowl came very slightly chipped on the edge but it was the only damage and the bowl still seems sound so we're just using it as-is (but not microwaving that one). The pattern is gorgeous. The design is textured into the top of the plate so I wonder if it will wear off over time. Hope not! These are very easy to clean and lightweight, good for a family member who has trouble lifting heavy plates due to a disability. I like that they stack very tight and compact compared to our old stoneware plates, which saves a lot of space. #sweepstakes
I live in Canada and I wasn't able to find this specific design anywhere except 3rd party sellers with huge markups. The design is beautiful and everything is durable and lightweight, good quality as I would expect from Corelle. Unfortunately, my set was missing 4 of the bowls which Corelle was kind enough to look into and provide to complete my set. Love the brand, love the customer service and definitely love the beautiful set I got!
So lovely! These are incredibly attractive while still being as tough as Corelle can be - the square design makes them very elegant, while the flat circular eating area on each plate is the same size as my previous round set. The design looks just like it does in the picture. I also love that this set came with small bowls instead of cups, since I already have enough drinking vessels and the small bowls come in super handy for sauces and/or small sides.
We've had this set, times three, for almost a month now, and we enjoy its light weight (we had stoneware previously). The pattern is pleasing, however, the scraping sound on parts of that pattern is not. Thankfully, most of the plate does not sound like fingernails on a chalkboard; am I dating myself? We like that the set is oven proof, microwave safe and supposedly shatter/break safe, the latter proven false when one bowl came in about 100 pieces, this fact reported the day the sets arrived. We are still waiting for the replacement, which we were assured was coming. Canadians do not enjoy free shipping, which is not made clear at onset of ordering. Our price was just shy of CAD $500 so look out, given the price is shown in US currency. I purchased this set about five years ago from Bed Bath and Beyond about five years ago because I loved the pattern. Within a year one of the bowls cracked on its own while sitting on the drying rack overnight followed by a second one a few months later. I did not know about the replacement option so I threw them out. My third bowl also got chipped so I am guessing there is a problem with this particular set. I do not know about others but my mugs are slightly gray in color.
