Durable but not indestructible. Have had most of my Corelle bowls for 20 years. The few that were dropped on kitchenTerrazzo floor shattered! Thank goodness for Walmart, they continue to have a good supply of Corelle dishwater.

Also, easier to fit into a small or crowded dinnerware cabinet, since they are thinner. Lightweight and slim but strong. Also, made in the USA! I've owned some Corelle Frost White for years and don't remember any pieces ever breaking or chipping. My son will be out on his own soon and Corelle makes great housewarming gifts.
I like the durability I will get out of it. The only thing I do not like is when you heat up food in it in the microwave, the bowl is extremely hot. (because it is glass/ceramic).

Corelle products are great!!! They are lightweight and very durable. I have used Corelle for many years and I have never broken one piece. These 1 quart bowls are so light weight. I serve potatoes, vegetables, desserts, and sometimes even meat dishes in them. I love the 1 quart size. I also have the 2 quart size for larger gatherings. I highly recommend Corelle dishes!!!!!

All Corelle I've owned over the past several decades have been outstanding in durability, utility (primarily going from freezer to microwave/oven) or with bowls serving as cooking "pots". They look like new "forever" unless abused. I've even dropped a couple onto the kitchen floor with no damage.
I had these bowls years ago and they were diehards in that they lasted forever. I'm hoping these will be the same. My only concern is the circle at the bottom whereby it looks like the bowl was glued together. My other bowls only developed this type of circle after many years of use with hot liquids. But I am hoping and I'm hopeful that these will last me!
