Was torn between this COROS Apex Pro 2 and the Garmin 965, but wanted a change from Garmin, having a previous Fenix5+.I think the COROS Apex Pro 2 Chamonix edition looks nice, but maybe the Garmin is a little prettier, but performance and ease of use are better than I’d hoped. From full charge, I’ve run a 4 hour marathon, done 3/4 other runs, and used it as a normal smartwatch for over 2 weeks and it’s still on 47%. Insane battery life, but also, it is really easy to use, and has just the right amount of clever features that actually are useful. I love the HRV test, and the COROS app is so much better than Garmin Connect. Would recommend for sure 👌

I bought this watch a month ago to upgrade from the coros Apex 1.I’m a budding ultra runner prepping for my 3rd 100 miler and first 100m in the mountains.Main reasons for upgrade was increased battery life and satellite coverage strengthThe watch is def an upgrade from the apex 1. Big things I love are the more detailed sleep data (light sleep, deep sleep, rem sleep) vs apex 1 only tracking light sleep and deep sleepAlso the satellite coverage is a lot strongerAesthetically I love the smaller face as I have smaller wrists

It is the only fitness watch on the market (FitBit, Garmin, wahoo, Suunto) that does NOT actually track how many calories you burn in a day. That is one of the very basic functions of a fitness watch - to let you know how many calories you have burned when you were active. It does track calories when you initiate a workout (and even then, only active calories, not total calories). In sum, worthless if your goals are around weight loss. Other than this, watch worked fine and definitely looks more stylish better than its competitors.

Decided to try Coros after years with Garmin. Sapphire glass and titanium case have prevented any damage so far. Coros app is also great. Highly recommend
Great watch. It’s not too big. It’s comfortable to wear to sleep. Creating routes on it is easy, though the map is a little hard to see. I’ve had it for a couple weeks and I like all the data it provides with regard to quantifying exercise volume, recovery, and optimal levels of activity. As a personal trainer training for several athletic pursuits, it’s helping me track my recovery. It’s inspiring me to take my sleep more seriously. I’m still learning how to use some of the advanced features. I no longer carry my phone hooked up to my HRM when I exercise. Anyway.. lots of positive changes to my life after finally biting the bullet and getting a smart watch. I absolutely love this watch! The battery life is amazing -- I only have to charge it once every two weeks, and I usually use it every day for activities that are 1-2 hours long. The GPS has worked great, though I haven't tested it out on routes that might have reduced signal. There is no 'mountain bike' activity, though the regular 'ride' activity works perfectly fine for mountain bike rides. I really like that you can customize the watch face for each activity. Overall, great watch! Highly recommend!
Although designed for high-activity exercise, the Coros Apex 2 Pro Chamonix Edition also works as an everyday smartwatch, with the advantage of GPS, mapping and navigation (courses / routes) available when needed. Nice colours, plenty of watch-face choices to download, lightweight, comfortable to wear, long-lasting battery when not using GPS. Not cheap, but definitely worth it.
