My experience during a June NYC Summer was light to medium deodorizing coverage. I haven’t used conventional deodorants or anti-perspirants for over 25 years. I purchased trio samples, the Botanist, Green and Third Rose from the Corpus site based on reviews from the lifestyle site Byrdie. I sweat a lot, and am very active commuting by foot, train, subway and bus daily throughout different boroughs, HOWEVER, I was only passively active and sometimes working from home when I used Corpus. I am dark-skinned and shave my underarms off and on based on season. My go-to for years has been using a make-up brush to dust on baking soda which has never irritated me, has zero scent, never darkened my underarms despite urban legend, never left residue in crevices, or powder on ... MoreMy experience during a June NYC Summer was light to medium deodorizing coverage. Third Rose smells like a powdery Secret, a bit gaggy and perfume-y. Green, my preferred scent, like the other two is insanely cloying, can smell it all day but has a notable citrus scent amongst a slight musky fragrance which was the best I could do. I smelled the scents all day constantly and was paranoid everyone else could too. It’s useless wearing perfume with these. I smelled these deodorants at night after my shower and would have to scrub my pits again because I couldn’t sleep with the super strong smell of any of the trio. The packaging and size of the samples is awesome! The texture is great, it’s a light amber colored solid that glides on beautifully with no irritation whatsoever. My mother did laundry with Third Rose when it began to get funky and she’s a light sweater. A simple walk and taking public transit without rushing on a warm day and I was fine with Green, the same commute rushing I was just okay. The scent is way too strong on these products, that won’t hide the mild deodorizing coverage they provide. I won’t buy again based on the strong scent, lack of easy availability, low coverage and price versus better brands found. Going back to baking soda.

I just bought another one of the rose fragrance deodorant sticks. It works well on me, and I like the floral scent. The formula is non-irritating on my skin, and it's one of the few natural deodorants that I can say that about. I'd highly recommend it as an effective product. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that I am trying to use less plastic, or at least use plastic that is easily recycled, and when I asked about whether Corpus plans to go in a more sustainable packaging direction they said there are no plans to do so. I understand that they have the option to do so or not, but given this non-alignment on something that's important to me, just one star came off of my rating. Again, as a product, it's effective and very nice to use though!

I bought this deodorant about a week ago and I have been loving it. I love the scent (Botanist). I would describe it as green and expensive smelling. Almost like a luxury spa smell.I love the texture. I've tried other natural deodorants that pull on the skin and leave a weird gummy sticky residue, but this is so smooth and silky. I can't feel any tackiness on my armpits at all.It seems to have helped a bit with perspiration, but the main thing is you don't smell! I had a very sweaty day running around in a humid heatwave and I didn't smell really and I would expect to with a natural deodorant.I have really sensitive skin, and have experienced other deos giving me a rash, but this one is completely fine. It actually feels soothing on the skin.Packaging feels ... MoreI bought this deodorant about a week ago and I have been loving it. I love the scent (Botanist). The colour brings me a lot of joy too.I would highly recommend trying this if you are on the fence about natural deodorant.Price wise, I am personally very happy to pay this amount because it works.

I’ve tried all of the deodorant sticks and they were all gorgeously scented and worked really well for me for about 3 years. This one is the lightest of them all with a dewy touch of rose and woody base. All of the fragrances are truly delightful and the ingredients are non-irritating for my sensitive skin. They also didn’t visually rub off on my clothes, which I appreciated.Maybe my body chemistry has changed this year, but I’ve noticed that it doesn’t work as well as it used to even right out of the shower that I’ve exfoliated in and dried my armpits well before applying. I think it has also sort of built up over the years in the fibers of my clothes too, so the pits in my clothes smell like BO even after washing. I would definitely buy it for the fragrance alone!
I haven't received this one yet. I was wondering if your were behind due to: body wash in this smell was sold out. I thought the deodorant must be the same...I guess not.... must have gotten lost in the mail. Please advise what I need to do to get a replacement. As for the sample pack of 3 deodorants. I like them all but especially love the smell of the N Green Natural. I'm on waiting list for the N Green Natural body wash as we speak.Anyone reading this review should know I'm completely happy with this product and will be buying in the future.I'm giving a 4 star ONLY because I haven't received product yet. My first order, the sample of 3 came very quick.
This is the best natural deodorant I've used so far, and the only one I've repurchased. Gorgeous woody floral scent that's a little unusual. Works well for me through busy days, warm weather and stress. I've been using natural deodorants for a while though and I think it takes your body some time to adjust. So if you already like natural deodorants, this could be the ultimate for you. If you haven't used it before, it could take a little adjusting. I'll certainly keep buying this and branch out into the different scents.
Got it about a couple months ago, I wanted to give this product a chance because of the glowing reviews. Big mistake. This deodorant doesn’t do anything. For the amount you pay plus shipping, I expected it to do more. What a disappointment. This deodorant doesn’t last long. I find myself reapplying throughout the day. It doesn’t do anything with sweat and odor. I feel so self conscious at work because I can smell myself stinking. The ingredients combination makes you prone to stink more. I’ve been on a hunt for a good clean deodorant and this product is another waste, don’t waste your money. I’m pretty sure majority of these reviews are fake.
I love this deodorant, I can’t say that I’m ever going back to anything else, and even though it initially threw me off at first, I have to agree now that it was well worth the price, it lasted about 6 months for me! It smells so good and compliments my perfume so well, I’m in love with this scent. It smells so romantic! Also to those who complain that natural deodorant doesn’t work, you have to detox your underarms first as you transition from the “normal” stick chemicals to the natural deodorant, especially if you were using antiperspirants! It takes about a month or two before your body regulates your BO, trust me you’re gonna SMELL but it’s worth the transition!! Make sure you exfoliate and wash your underarms super well in the shower and if you want, dilute tea tree oil with some water (i used that crystal/salt deodorant water from Whole Foods) and rub a small amount on your underarms, but only do this if your skin does not get irritated by the tea tree oil! Remember it’s important to dilute it! This is a natural antibacterial that will help kill that odor causing bacteria that’s giving you BO. this is how I transitioned and I’ve been on naturals for three years now and I’m never going back! Good luck and don’t get discouraged! This brand rocks!!!
This is my third time getting the full size of this deodorant, and I will keep getting it again and again. I originally got the sample pack, so I've tried all of the scents, but this is by far my favorite. It's a neutral, unassuming scent that feels truly unisex — sort of like pencil shavings, which maybe sounds strange, but I mean it in a good way. I am sensitive to smells, and it is subtle and not overpowering. I like that it doesn't compete with other scents I'm wearing on my skin or from my hair products, just complements them, and if I'm wearing it alone my partner still tells me I smell good. Most importantly, it works. It is of course expensive for deodorant, but I've just needed to buy one per year, even using more than once a day sometimes. And it looks cute in my bathroom. 100% would recommend.
I have been using and loving this product since 2019. For the second time, I received the deodorant with a faulty container. It doesn’t retract back into the container, it popped out and won’t close, so it’s permanently out of the socket. After contacting support, A.J. , not sure if this person is the owner/rep decided it would be fair to replace my brand new full size deodorant with a “mini”. The first time this happened, I basically sucked it up no big deal and did not contact them. After it happened again, this is not o.k. Zero stars for the lack of customer service. Five stars for the product itself. Super sad to have to write this review, but Corpus needs to do better
