Corsair RGB LED Lighting PRO Expansion Kit for Lighting Node PRO / Commander PRO - PCLIVE Computer

When I purchased this kit, I intended to use it with my existing iCUE Commander Pro controller. While that works as expected, one of the LED light strips soon started to blink and not change color. I ended up only needing three, so that wasn't an issue. Fast forward 6 months, and a second LED strip has started to blink and won't change colors - I'm stuck with the 'B' in 'RGB'. I've removed the dead strip and am now just waiting for the others go to shortly. While Corsair peripherals are great and their Commander Controller works well, I won't be buying any more RGB devices from them.

What can I say except that my PC looks awesome now? these are easy to use, especially if you're already invested in corsair products. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a splash of color in their builds. The magnets in the strips make it so, in the case that you have a metal case, you can opt out of using the sticky strip, and can move them at your leisure.

If you bought into the Corsair ecosystem, these LED lights are a good complement to any build. The iCue software works well and the macros available online are fun. However, it is a steep price to pay for what is essentially 4 led strips and extensions. You can get multiple rolls for cheaper elsewhere. The proprietary connectors also make it hard to recommend unless you already have the corsair devices to connect them. If you put all those cons aside, the product does as advertised and they do feel like better quality with the included magnets and LED brightness.

Nice Colors, Best Lighting Software availible. Would have been better if you could connect them together seamlessly. PLENTY of cable length for any build. Maybe a little too much even without extensions. No notice of heat difference in my build with 2 sets of these inside the case. The problem with running eight of these, is that the iCue software wont recognize control more than 6 of these on one channel. To bypass that, you have to change the type of LED strip until you find the one that works the best.
Seen a negative review of 1 star on these and felt it was unfair. The reason somebody left a negative review is because they are incompetent and didn’t read the description of the part. This is a ADD ON which requires you already have a commander pro or a lighting node - this is clearly stated in the description!! For somebody to leave a negative review because they didn’t read the description is not fair. The lights are great and look great - when you have a lighting node or commander pro to plug them into, as clearly described in the description!!!
The perfect companion to some very expensive Corsair LL series fans. They connect in series and are individually controllable through the lightning node software. The strips come magnetized and with 3M back sticky tape for a more permanent solution. I simply use the magnets so I can rearrange the strips within the case. Honestly, cheaper light strips can cost around $15-$20, but usually only come with 2 strips where as this kit comes with four strips. If you want software controlled light strips and you currently don't have Corsair series fans with the lightning node, then buy the light-strip kit that comes with the lightning node since it's really not that much more expensive, just make sure to have an open USB2.0 header so they can be software controlled; but it ... If you already have Corsair fans and your lightning node is filled up with more than 4 fans, then the kit with the lightning node will allow you to expand on what you already have as you can run multiple lightning nodes in series. Way too many options depending on your budget.
It literally has all of the colors. You want Rainbows? It has Rainbows of Colors. And that ain't extra. It is literally what the product does. Already had the Commander Pro in my System, so all I needed for the Expansion Kit and not the Starter Kit. Plug and Play. Already had the QL fans and Vengeance Ram, so this kit just helped have a uniform light across the whole case. O11D. The Magnets made it easy to setup and hide the LED's in the corners.
Bought this as an extention to the full fan system and controller. Really not much to say. Incredibly easy install, even easier to use within the app. Not complicated to run at all. The lights are very bright work extremely well. If you search the internet you can find thousands of free "light profiles" people have made to make your lights do basically anything. That to me was the funnest part. These paired with the LED fans are great.
This kit works quite well, I have connected 4 together into a Corsair lighting device and programmed them with iCue. The strips are bright, vibrant, and curiously addictive to stare at for long periods of time when left in rainbow mode... They work great with visor and are visually very impressive. Setting the up at first can be a little confusing if iCue doesn't start them, but that being said, you have to tell iCue what port they are on and how many there are before they will work. A good tip is to restart iCue once its all set up, as sometimes they won't light after you configure them initially.
Just basic LED lighting package with four strips. I kind of thought this could just plug into a LED capable motherboard, but I was wrong. You will need their proprietary control module to make this work. Before buying this, consider if your motherboard has LED leads on it. If so, then just buy the standard LED strips with the standard connectors and save money. If not, then you're stuck spending more money on a complete setup. But if you're looking at this, you probably already have what's needed.
