Cant complain at all, very fast and good value and a brand that has been reliable over the yearsTip: Dont be like me and take 2 months to realise the ram was only running at 2133mhz because by default most new motherboards have XMP switched off in the bios. Switched that on and doubled the speed of my ram almost. And its perfectly stable at 3600mhz. Its actually designed for XMP being on. Check your BIOS.

After my first motherboard started beeping, the code indicated it could be a RAM issue. So, I bought these. But, issues persisted and I ended up buying a new (compatible) motherboard. Unfortunately, the beeping and issues, though less frequent, continued. I tried reseating it, switching slots, but it was only when I removed one stick entirely that the beeping went away. So, in the end, I spent $93 (after tax) for 8 working gb. Fun.

Pros: XMP profiles offer tight memory timings for non-specific high cost modules. XTried in several DDR4 mother boards both AMD & Intel, and no issues with compatibility at all running both XMP (& AMD equivalent) and JEDEC speeds. Even used in 4 x DIMM configurations (sold as dual modules), the RAM chips have all been Micron manufactured so can mix multiple packs of this RAM no problems.Cons: Would like to see faster timings but these are down to how binned the RAM chips themselves are sorted. Price obviously could be cheaper but worldwide economics during this pandemic has created shortages which increase cost.

This is great ram for the person that needs compatability and doesn't want any bling. I use this in my test rig for hardware it works flawlessly its low profile so it wont get in the way of coolers and it just works great xmp 3600 mhz work great on Ryzen boards it runs stable and does as advertised. Great for anyone looking for the speed on a budget that doesn't want bling and doesn't want there ram to interfere with other components in there set up.
Got these on sale. Got these LPX for their low profile. I run my processor with a DH-15 cooler which is huge and can limit the size of memory you can use because of height limitation. Not into RGB so it was a perfect fit. Can't complain. Work as stated on the box. Bought (2) sets for 32 MB total.XMP setting worked without a hitch. Could not fine tune Dram setting to go any faster. These have very tight timings.Been 3 weeks so far so good!
I am pairing this with an AMD ryzen 5600x. For some reason it is benchmarking very low. My performance on the benches come out to around 67%. Also my games are very choppy.Dont really know what is causing this.I do like the form factor. I am using an itx case with less clearance on the cooler and these fit perfectly. the low profile is just what i needed.Hopefully I can get it to run at the correct performance. XMP is on.
Very Disappointed.I purchased three of these kits yesterday and installed the first one in a system. What the specs or package do not communicate properly is that the 3.6 GHz speed is only available in an XMP profile at 1.35v. The fastest this memory will run in standard configuration at 1.2v is effectively DDR4-2133/PC4-17000 which is incredibly slow. Not every system supports XMP, so the specs and packaging should reflect the possible speeds and what is required to run the memory at those speeds. I don't think that is too much to ask.Additionally, I tried the memory in a system that supports XMP and the system would not boot if the RAM was set to 3.6 GHz. I had to reduce the memory to 3.2 GHz before the system would boot. The system that I tried them in normally has RAM in it that clocks at 4 GHz so I know the system will run fine with fast RAM.I'll be returning these kits today.
This is CL18 RAM, which I expect for the price. Unfortunately, this model is not on the QVL for a lot of more modern Intel boards, despite the Intel logo on the box, and the support of XMP 2.0, etc.As a result, don't rely on this to work 100% without any tinkering. 3600 MT/s RAM is not very standard, so that's somewhat assumed, but it is no walk in the park to get an Intel memory controller to pick up the pair I received; like most things with electronics, your mileage will vary.If you want fast and stable RAM, I always suggest Corsair, but ultimately the setup side is not up to Corsair alone, it is also based on your motherboard manufacturer's setup of the board, and the UEFI provider's approach. If you just plug this in and want it to run at stock speeds, it ... MoreThis is CL18 RAM, which I expect for the price. If you want to run it at top speed easily, this isn't the kit for you.
Superb one and could overlock XMP profile to 3600Mhz as advertised on a MSI PRO B660 WIFI motherboard. Dint got any error after running for a month. The aesthetics perfectly match with a black colored theme motherboard and case. Item feels really well built and high quality.
Bought this for my new first time PC build. My motherboard is a B560 Steel Legend. Initially, does not run in XMP mode while in dimm slots A1 and B1, but after searching through forums for answers someone suggested to move the ram modules to their neighbouring slots A2 and B2 - and it works perfect! To be honest, I could not see any difference in performance / speed of windows applications between this ram running at default speed of 2133 and XMP mode of 3600. Windows startup speed was the same, and everything ran super fast even at 2133 speed, so I'm not sure what the benefits are yet, but seeing as the lower speed ram is not really much cheaper I thought it would be good to get this ram.
