This is a very comfortable headset and the reason for this is the fact that the arms at the side that hold the speakers are made of aluminium and can be gently bent to make them sit perfectly against you head. They are big enough to fit completely over your ears so are comfortable for hours at a time. The sound quality is as good as Sennheiser or Bose but you wouldn't expect that from a headset at this price. Having said that they have good clear sound and I have no complaints about the sound quality. The fact that the mic just plugs in is great so it doesn't get in the way when not needed. I love the scroll wheel volume control as it is so much easier to adjust than a 2 button setup. Both the scroll wheel and the mic mute button are very easy to find and use. ... MoreThis is a very comfortable headset and the reason for this is the fact that the arms at the side that hold the speakers are made of aluminium and can be gently bent to make them sit perfectly against you head. Finally I bought this because it IS a wired headset. I have a bluetooth headset but several times it has gone flat while in use and this can be a major inconvenience if you don't have another headset because it can't be charged and used at the same time. So I totally recommend this headset especially for those on a budget. It is great value for money.

I only had these headphones for a few months and they are already in poor condition and are just unpleasant to use. First of all, when I first got the headphones for my pc so I dint have to use earbuds, the microphone didn't even work until the next day and I still don't know what I did to make it work. Second of all, recently the audio just stopped working normally all of a sudden and just one speaker just stopped working every now and then, so it was extremely distracting while I was using them while working on projects. The next few issues I had were more my fault then the headphones but are still issues none the less. After I got really frustrated trying to make the headphones work and ended up messing up the cushioning on the earmuffs and it is near impossible ... MoreI only had these headphones for a few months and they are already in poor condition and are just unpleasant to use. After I got really frustrated trying to make the headphones work and ended up messing up the cushioning on the earmuffs and it is near impossible to fix it since the material used in them aren't very flexible at all unlike other headphones that are much easier to fix when broken. I also broke the left earphone but that is mostly my problem since I was the one who threw them. Then again, I did not expect it to break so badly after one single throw at the ground so, its also a bit too fragile. It did have great sound quality however before it was broken. I did also enjoy the more simplistic design and how the microphone was more or less optional. The microphone was a bit low quality and picked up just about any sound from the headphones resulting in an echo when talking to my friends but was still usable. Overall, the headphones are very good for anyone looking for a high quality listening experience but you shouldn't don't expect them to last that long.

I like this headset. I like it's quality and how it feels in my hands.However:1- One the ear pads fell off after nearly 6 months of use. The other one started falling too. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me ear pads for free.2- Some people I Voice Chat with, tell me that they can hear themselves when they talk to me. I reported this to the manufacturer they sent my a mic replacement for free.3- The Mute Button on the Headset acts weird. I can still see active input after I push the mute button.4- Sometimes, my right ear lope hurt so much after wearing the headset. The pain is unbearable. Until this day, I don't know why.

I'm generally a corsair fan. I've had good experiences with their customer service, and have several of their products in my current build, like their RGB fans, light strips, and Commander Pro. So far I am mostly a fan of this headset.- The sound is crisp and clear, and my friends have said they can hear me well.- I like that the mic is detachable and flexible.- The mute button is pretty convenient, though some may disagree. Sometimes I do forget that it is on though.- the earpads are relatively comfortable, but they could be a bit more dense. they do flatten pretty quickly, and I always end up uncomfortable since I wear glasses.Only definite con I've noticed is that it gets very uncomfortable on the headband part. There is nowhere near enough padding up there, and it hurts my head after a short while. I've even tried adding a bit of extra padding, and extending the sides.Overall, you get (what I think) quality sound and a decent mic, though you do sacrifice some comfort for the cost. They still feel pretty sturdily built, so we will see how long they last. They've been getting some marathon use these days, so they are definitely being put to the test.
Pros: -The sound quality is amazing and it can actually be very loud, when at full volume. - The fit is great and very comfortable, great cushioning. - The microphone is removable so you can use it if you go outside. - It has a really good build so it should not break - It has a good noise cancellation (mic and sound) so you can hear much outside your headset. Cons: - The mic quality is a bit low so you might want to boost the volume, however it picks up your voice very well so sounds are not muffled. - The size is small even when you extend it so if you have a bigger sized head watch out (but should be able to fit as I do have a big head). Overall, a great headset: I really recommend for its price. The sound is great as well as the mic when you tune it a bit. Let me start by saying these headphones have excellent sound quality, and the microphone is clear. I have had multiple positive comments from both zoom meeting attendees and gaming friends on how good I sound compared to others on the calls / games. These headphones are also very comfortable, light, cover the whole ear and can be worn for hours without feeling oppressive. The only downfall of these headphones is that the earpieces keep falling off. It's been 18 months, and I'm on my second RMA for these cans. It pains me to not give them 5 stars, because they really are great and the value is excellent. But if you're looking for long-term life in a pair of headphones, you should be looking for something that costs more than $49.
Good Points: I use this for PS4 gaming, primarily for Apex Legends and similar games. The additional features of higher headphone models cannot be used on console. It has good sound quality and definitely focuses on things like footstep audio, gun fire etc from which it is easy to detect direction and distance. The first time I had these on and fired a gun I nearly dropped the pad as I am not used to playing with headphones.Good price, good sound, no unnecessary flashy, useless features. Just a good functional headset.Improvement Points: Whilst the foam padding fits nicely around my ears the headset can feel quite tight compressing down on my head. I have alleviated this quite a bit by extending the headset but it's not completely perfect. It's not always ... MoreGood Points: I use this for PS4 gaming, primarily for Apex Legends and similar games. I have alleviated this quite a bit by extending the headset but it's not completely perfect. It's not always easy to distinguish what level someone is vertically in comparison to your self i.e. if they are above, below or on the same level. Not sure of this is specific to this headset or all headsets but after some getting used to it it's not so much of a problem now.
PC gamers on a budget... this is a good one! While I'm sure the build quality might not last for several years, it's pretty solid and will last quite a while unless you throw it around. The sound quality isn't audiophile quality... but it's way better than most headphones at this price range. The microphone isn't going to be good for recording music or anything of high quality, but who needs that in a gaming headset. The mic works just fine. No crackle or hiss. And they are actually quite comfortable. I expect the padding to wear out over time, but you have that with any headphones. In short... this is way better than I expected for this price point.
The headset is mini jack connected meaning it will not work great with unpowered sound cards, likely ones you get on many laptop computers. We are using it on gaming laptop and the mic cannot be reasonably used due to the above. The audio itself is fine and loud enough though. The build quality is solid. You are better off getting a USB headset which will likely come with some dedicated software for EQ as well, and the mic will work correctly. This headset is too boomy and EQ that has been a challenge.
