I received this product as part of the Stellar Testing Panel for review. My husband is the main gamer in our family so he's the one who used them most. He already had a headset that he loves and wasn't sure if these would compare but now I find him wearing these over his old ones and I believe it's mainly due to the comfort. Before if he was playing for a while he would complain that his head was sore at the end of the day and we couldn't figure out why until I got these. No more soreness! I like the sleek design in white because it doesn't stand out too much sitting in our family room and looks more elegant. His overall thoughts as a male: Packaging 9/10 The packaging is appealing and feels like your getting a higher end product. Design 7.5/10 overall it has a good ... His overall thoughts as a male: Packaging 9/10 The packaging is appealing and feels like your getting a higher end product. Design 7.5/10 overall it has a good design that is classic to most gaming headphones, so it's functionally sound and works. However, it would be better to have the microphone integrated in tot he side of the headphone so that it is out of the way when folding it up. As is, it's kind of in the way when folding it up. Style/looks: 8/10 they have a nice look and are aesthetically pleasing, however (at least in white) they are a bit feminine looking. Comfort (headband) 9.5/10: memory foam goes all the way across the headband which is very comfortable and after a few hours of gaming my head is still not sore. Comfort (ears) 8.5/10: memory foam is stil very comfortable on ears however after a few hours it does start to feel warm and slightly uncomfortable on the ears. Sound 7/10: very mediocre sound. It's decent and works however compared to a headset of similar price, they have fo be turned up near max volume to get a decent sound. Microphone 10/10 when talking, sounds just like talking over the phone for the other person. Overall 8.5/10

I received this headset as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I've happily used it for PS5, Switch, PC, and phone. This unit is great for any kind of gaming, Discord or just listening to music. The 3.5mm jack works seamlessly for all systems, It is very comfortable and light weight in it's build, and the memory foam ear pads are really nice for long sessions. This headset came with a USB to 3.5mm dongle which was only really useful on the PC. It allowed me to adjust the EQ through the Corsair software iCue and make custom sound profiles. This was my favorite part of this product until I had to move just slightly away and the dongle disconnected. This became an issue throughout my use and I ended up not using the dongle all together. I tried different USB ports and other computers to see if it was a user error or my PC ports that were the issue but I had the same problem on all of the computers I tried. Any movement would disconnect the dongle. It just felt too finicky to be a useful addition when the 3.5mm jack worked flawlessly. As far as sound quality output they were great until I maxed out the volume dial and then the sound came through like the speakers were blown. It was very slight and easily adjustable and as a general rule for any headset probably not maxing out the volume is a good idea. The mic quality was great and I honestly have no complaints, I regularly use it on discord and my friends said they didn't notice a difference from my old mic. In summary I would recommend the headset to anyone who is on a budget but I would throw out the USB to 3.5mm jack dongle.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this gaming headset to try. This headset pulls double duty; not only is it great for gaming with the optional 7.1 surround sound, but it is also great for work calls as well. For gaming, the sound comes in crystal clear, and the surround sound is great for situational awareness for the things you might not be able to see in your game during the action. All in all, this is a great headset to use for gaming and work, pulling double duty for professional or fun.

I was given this gaming headset to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for an honest review. After some time testing out the headset, I'm quite pleased with the overall quality. In particular as someone who is fairly picky when it comes to the longer-term wearing comfort of a headset, I was very impressed. It's incredibly lightweight, and the memory foam ear pads are so much more comfortable than any other headset I've tried. In addition to gaming, I actually also plan to use this in place of the headset I have for calls related to my job. Both the audio and microphone quality are excellent. I tested it on background audio, live calls, and even made a couple of test recordings, and my voice comes across very crisp and clear. Both voice and ... The only reason I did not give 5 stars are ultimately based on pickiness. I prefer my volume control to be on the cord rather than on the earpiece. And I also found it frustrating that the adapter required for surround sound has a USB-A connector instead of USB-C. Unfortunately, I'm primarily a console gamer and my laptop only has USB-C connectors so I was unable to test that part of the functionality. However, overall, I would 100% purchase this headset myself without hesitation. It's a great wired headset option, and I appreciate the opportunity to test it out.
I received the HS55 Surround White as part of the Stellar Product testing panel, and I am glad I did! When I opened the package and felt the headphones. The white and gray color combination made me feel so high tech. I could easily tell that quality was put into the making of them. It is lightweight, sleek and smooth. Under the headband is a soft cushion. This was important to me as I have kinky-curly hair and most headphone headbands get stuck and pull my hair. The ear cups also boast soft, buttery cushions of their own. It feels like velvet next to your ears. The ear cups pivot and move giving you a relaxed, comfortable feeling as you wear them. I used these headphones for a Zoom meeting for work and it was the first time my clients and fellow coworkers didn’t ask me to get closer to the mic or to repeat what I was saying. I also could hear them as if they were in the same room. For easy convenience, the volume control is on the right side of the ear cup. I wish I had these headphones when I had meetings during the pandemic! They are great! It also includes the USB adapter of that I can use them with my laptop. The designers thought of everything. The only downside was the fact that for some reason the headphones were rubbing against my upper cheekbones and it made them feel sore. Other than that, I would highly recommend these headphones to any gamer, movie watcher, business person, student, anyone that uses technology they need to get these ASAP!
This is the best headset I have ever owned. With this headset, I have heard things in songs that I have never been able to hear before. There's a song I have listened to hundreds of times, but never knew there was the sound of an airplane in the background on a certain part. I'm going to go back and listen to my favorite songs, to see if there's anything else I have missed. I also used this headset for phone calls and playing D2. I am a soft-spoken mumbler, but my mom was able to hear me clearly through the microphone, when I was speaking with my usual speaking volume, I didn't have to raise my voice for her to hear what I was saying on the call. I am a soft-spoken mumbler, but my mom was able to hear me clearly through the microphone, when I was speaking with my usual speaking volume, I didn't have to raise my voice for her to hear what I was saying on the call. When I moved to the living room, where my kids were watching TV, it did pick up the background sounds of the person talking on the TV and made it harder for her to hear me, but in other rooms and outside, where a train was rumbling by a few blocks away, she wasn't able to hear any background noise. The headset worked really well for playing D2. I was able to hear sounds of enemies and was able to easily tell which direction the sounds were coming from. I could hear enemies behind me and around corners, before I was able to see them. The game soundtrack also sounds amazing with this headset. As far as fit, I have a very large head and the headset fits nicely. It's lightweight and doesn't make my ears sweaty. It's less comfortable when I wear my glasses, but that's the case with any over the ear headset and it wasn't as bad as others I have tried, because the ear pads are very sort and squishy. I also really like the cable tie attached to the cord. When I'm on my phone, I don't like having a really long cord, to get tangled up and catch on things, so it's nice to have the cord bundled up, when I don't need the extra length. Overall, I think this is a really nice headset and I'm probably going to buy another one, so I don't have to share this one with my husband. I received this headset for free from Stellar Product Testing Panel, but my opinions are my own.
I have owned a few headsets before, predominantly to use while creating voice-over presentations or while participating in online meetings, but found them to be uncomfortable over a lengthy period of time or lacking in microphone or speaker quality. On the contrary to my prior experiences with other brands, this Corsair headset is very comfortable and I particularly like the way the ear cup encompasses the entire ear (which helps block out external noise). The microphone quality is good and the speakers are great. Another nice feature is that the ear cups rotate in and the microphone flips up, making them easy enough to slip into a travel bag or backpack. Now, with all that being said, there were a few things that seemed a little odd to me given other experiences I ... The microphone quality is good and the speakers are great. Another nice feature is that the ear cups rotate in and the microphone flips up, making them easy enough to slip into a travel bag or backpack. Now, with all that being said, there were a few things that seemed a little odd to me given other experiences I have had with some other headphone/microphone combo devices. First, the headphones are packaged with a USB-A to USB-C cable. While I can appreciate the need to accommodate legacy computers, the computer (laptop) on which I was planning to use these headphones only has USB-C ports. That means I need an adapter as one did not ship with the unit. When I did plug the headphones into another computer, the computer (Windows 11) did recognize the headphones, but there was no way to use them as the settings did not show them as an audio device. I installed the iCUE software as well, and it did not see the headphones either. The short story there is that they must be used in wireless mode, even if physically plugged in to the computer. This is where it gets even more confusing to me. There was a USB-A wireless receiver included in the box. (Not USB-C, but USB-A.) As soon as I plugged in the receiver, the headphones (and microphone) showed up in my Windows settings (after a few moments given an automatic driver installation). At that point, I was then able to use the headphones and microphone, and the device also showed up in Corsair's iCUE software. There was a firmware update available, but in order to install it, I had to physically plug the headphones into the computer (which was weird considering the headphones did not work through the same cable).Another thing that was confusing was that it is possible to sync the headphones to your computer by both the wireless receiver (that ships with the headphones) and bluetooth as well. This then creates two separate audio devices in your computer settings, which created some additional confusion for me as one of the devices (via bluetooth) would not allow me to control the volume of the speakers through the dial on the unit. I did not have that same problem, however, when using the wireless connection through the receiver. If I was using a desktop computer, this would probably not be much of a big deal. When using it with a laptop, however, the utility of some of the headphone's features is diminished because, to fully use all the features of the headphones (the volume dial in particular), I need to plug in this 1.5" (approx) USB-A wireless receiver that then hangs out the side of the laptop. (If I wanted to use with a newer laptop that only has USB-C ports, the protrusion would be even longer given the need for a USB-C to USB-A adapter. The short story is that I am used to the simplicity associated with using iPods with my Apple devices (including my computers) where they connect easily and have all necessary functionality without having to plug any wireless receivers into my computer. I understand that Windows-based PCs function differently, but the setup and use simply is not as seamless as I am used to and would like. With that being said, though, this headset is significantly less expensive than those Apple devices (especially the over-the-ear AirPod Max), so some concessions are not only reasonable but necessary. For the money, this is a pretty solid headset that I will continue to use for work meetings and other related activities. While I realize these are marketed for gaming, they definitely fit the bill for my work needs. Given their comfort and quality of speakers, however, I can clearly see how these would work very well for gaming as well and will probably be giving that a try soon. Four stars seems a little low given the quality and value for the money, but I also would not feel comfortable giving a five star rating with the issues I noted. Maybe, realistically, 4.25 or 4.5 stars would be reasonable to me. If you are looking for a relatively reasonably-priced headset that is comfortable to wear with good sound and a good microphone, this unit is a pretty good option!
I received this gaming headset from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I'm definitely impressed overall! They are extremely lightweight, the ear pads are very comfortable and make it easy to use all day without worrying about any discomfort from the headset itself. I've definitely been able to increase my playing time with these. I had not heard of this brand previously but must admit I was pleasantly surprised. I was not expecting such great sound and mic quality, but received just that. The sound is crisp and clear, the mic the same. The mic is easily adjustable and stays put unlike other brands where it just flops down or moves on its own. They give the same quality as the higher priced well known brands for a fraction of the cost!
First off, I received this headset from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I'll need to thank them extra because this is a really solid, enjoyable headset. It is definitely lightweight and breathable - no overheated, achey head or ears here! The foam is super squishy and comfy around the ears (we hope it lasts). Also, if you happen to be like me and have a more petite head, they fit perfectly - but they also adjust massively so my husband can borrow them for work calls. On that note, he reports that the microphone works great, no issues with it at all and the flip to mute is pretty smooth (it stays in place solidly). The body design is sleek and simple, which I appreciate, and the wire - may I just say how much my husband and I love wired things? No constant ... No constant recharging, no relying on dodgy battery life or actual batteries - just a simple, sweet wire. The wire is a perfect length to make sure you have a comfortable, generous amount of movement to sit comfortably with your laptop or handheld game system. It also comes with a silicone wire management piece so you can adjust the length easily (by tying up the excess) so it's not hanging down to your feet when you just want to cuddle up to game on the couch or browse the web, which is VERY useful so it's not getting caught on everything (a common complaint of the wireless advocate, I'm sure). The sound quality is instantly crisp, full bodied, and definitely delivers on that surround when we tested it out intentionally. It's really well balanced (I doubt I'll need to mess with any settings to improve on it) right when you plug it in. The volume control is an easy manual wheel that is sensitive and smooth enough that it's not annoying to adjust a tiny bit up or down depending on the media (so your not straining to hear something and going right to blasting your ear drums because it's one of those clickey wheeled ones). It definitely makes it more enjoyable to just sit and listen to music, let alone me looking forward to getting to game more with them. So, all in all, I'm very grateful to improve my gaming and music experience with this headset. Having looked up the price point, my husband and I agree that it's an extremely fair one for the quality.
Okay, to start off I have the worst luck with technology, especially headphones. I have had 3 different pairs in the last 2 years and they slowly break down over time or stop working. I was so glad to be able to use these headphones thanks to the Stellar testing panel. They came in and the box looked pretty nice and unboxing it was even better. The contents were nicely packed and just made sense. These are the lightest headphones I have had, and they don't feel cheap. In fact, they feel surprisingly nice and durable for as light as they are. I have a big ole head on me too, and my last pair of headphones would squeeze so hard I could not wear them for more than a few hours at a time. These headphones are so comfortable! I am an avid PS5 player (currently crushin' it up on BG3) and my biggest issue is always getting a balance between game volume and game chat. A lot of headphones do not have the option on the Playstation to tinker with it, and this one does not have that option either. However, when you are playing and chatting, the audio is perfectly balanced and I can hear both without compromising. I have been using these headphones for long gaming sessions on the weekend and the padding for the ears is so comfortable, after I while I can barely tell they are on. I think the microphone on here is pretty good, as none of my friends have complained. My favorite part of the headphones is how comfortable they are and they are so simple to get to using. This Corsair headset has truly been the best set I have owned to date! If you are considering this pair of headphones, you owe it to yourself to try it. Huge bang for your buck! Happy gaming!
