Pros: Great product. Well designed, clean looking when set up as extra parts gives you multiple options for cables management, and if your not that good at it, cables can be hidden easily behind the back panel door. This combined with the easy to use RGB management software, plenty of space for lots of fans, and water cooling, means you can make it look amazing with whether your a beginner builder or an expert. Well worth it for the price.Cons: The instructions are a little to simplistic considering the amount of panels (each with lots of screws), you can remove depending on how you want to configure your set up. Also only 2 USB chase ports (and one USB 3.1 Type-c) a couple more could be helpful from time to time.

I returned the 4000x to buy this one for the extra size and ability to add up to 10 fans. It's a great case and the included rgb fans with corsair controller are great value and everything works awesome with the icue software. It was my first pc build and it was very easy to work with. It looks awesome, and if you're worried about airflow the front panel comes off really easy if you wanted to remove it for gaming or heavy load. Happy with this purchase.

One of Corsair best case out right now. The ability to put thirteen (13th) fans in this case is what sold me. Although, the case only comes with a 6 port to control six fan. Which is okay because if your going all Corsair you'll get more hubs with AIO and 3-packs of RGB (like the LL140). Though if you got extra 60-75 bucks, add a Corsairs Commander Pro to make you life easier on install. I was going to put Intel's 11th Gen in the case and heard they ran hot. But after not being able to buy one at release, I went with top 10 tenth (10th) Gen. The front of the case has plenty of room. Making it easy to mount AIO radiator in four positions. Those being top of case, inside top, side and front. I choose inside top to make push/pull configuration. Also, Guess this is for ... MoreOne of Corsair best case out right now. Either way I'll take it. Who knows maybe I'll get a Doll too. The side (back of motherboard) the case is where we all have trouble it seem. Although Corsair has improve this case and made it real slick. Two (2) more inches here would be nice. Although, it is nice that they provided a door to cover but felt like I squashed wire (just a little) when closing. Also, Power Supply Unit (PSU) is not that easy to install. Make sure to account for bundle wire space. I remove the Hard Drive (HD) bay on bottom to add more space for wire bundles. Corsair if you listening, please add a backplate temple to allow the PSU to slide in from back instead of placing PSU from inside. Makes for easier mount and cable management. A little pricy for most enthusiast builders but that's cause it is well made. So if you ask me if I had to do build a PC again today. I would still choose this case.

This case is amazing. I've had it for almost a year now, and it has been great. It's big enough to accommodate a lot of components for a robust build. It's beautiful enough to allow you to express your creativity as well. Swapping parts is easy. One of my favorite features of this case is the ease of access - it's so easy to take the panels off and access the components or the wires. I love that the back of it hides the wires but still offers easy access.I did replace all the case fans with Corsair QL fans which I like better (and I did the same on my Elite Capellix too). I also replaced the node controller with lighting node core from one of my QL fan kits. Here's what I've managed to fit into this case:MB: ASUS Z590-A PrimeCPU: Intel Core i7-11700KGPU: ... MoreThis case is amazing. I originally purchased a Corsair Graphite 600 series case in 2012 and felt it was the GOAT. This is what made me purchase another Corsair case without question. I truly love Corsair because of my last case, BUT, this one fell a little short of that one. I wanted to give Corsair 3 stars because of what I had to do, figuring they should have looked into this and already figured this out, BUT, I couldn't. The side panel that covers the side 3 fan section is a problem for the 24 pin connector. The case left so little space, that in truth, I couldn't fit the harness thru, let alone connect it to the MB. I had to use a whole saw to cut a big enough hole and then sand it down and add a grommet to make it work and look like it was meant to be. I ended up giving the case 4 stars as its still a great case that has plenty of room for everything else.
I recently built a new PC to replace my old 1700X/1080 TI rig, and after reading a few reviews and watching Gamers Nexus videos I decided on the Corsair 4000. I outfitted it with an MSI Meg X570 Unify motherboard, 3700X (placeholder for a 5950X),. EVGA 3090 FTW3, 1200W EVGA power supply. The case comfortably fits 6 120MM fans or 5 140MM fans. If you shift the fan upwards, you can probably fit a 140MM in the rear. The airflow is very good. I don't usually hear my 3090 even when playing Cyberpunk 2077 or AC Valhalla on max settings. I wish the case had a separate microphone jack on the top of the case next to the headphone jack but I can live with running the cable from the microphone to the rear of the case. I wish the case had a separate microphone jack on the top of the case next to the headphone jack but I can live with running the cable from the microphone to the rear of the case. The box the case came in was dented but the packing between the Home Essentials Direct box and the Corsair box prevented any damage to the Corsair box or case. The tempered glass was pristine. The magnetic mesh flap on the top of the case is nice. There is ample room behind the solid panel to run all of your cables through and attach a couple SSDs. I have two 2 TB Samsung 860 EVOs attached behind the motherboard and another sitting above the power supply enclosure. There is a drive cage in the power supply enclosure but my 1200W and the cables took up the entire space.
If you're going to max out the fan capabilities like I did (13 total) just take your time and manage the cables so you don't either bend or short any of the exposed fan or RGB connectors in the right side of the case. If you devote just an extra half hour to running them correctly, that side of the case looks just as good as the left side. Signal RGB with 13 fans, a Capellix AIO, and 4 RGB RAM sticks looks INSANELY GOOD, especially with the white interior. There's a lot of cool effects (not just rainbow barf). And despite all the complaints about the front and top glass panels choking the components, my i5-12600K (oc'd to 5.1 GHz) stays between 30 - 60 all day. My RTX 3070TI stays below 70 all day. I couldn't be happier with this case.
Very nice sturdy case - though you'd expect that from Corsair. Building in it is very easy. Cable management is very good and the mental panel that closes over the back of the mother board and inside the rear glass is a good way to hide everything. The inclusion of the PWM Hub and the RGB Node is also great. My only issue is that they are so big on cable management - the length of the wires for the front fans leaves a bit to be desired. The the should provide both PWM extensions and RGB extensions so that you can run the cables cleanly. Leaving them where the route them, when you look through the front of the case you can see them in the top corner - I run them so you can not see them when you look in the case some extra length would make it a bit cleaner on the ... MoreVery nice sturdy case - though you'd expect that from Corsair. Granted you can not see them when the cover is on, but luckily I do not use the 3 fan spot on the back of the case. It would not be possible as the cables from the front of the case goes over this area. All in all though a very nice case - though some cable extensions for the front fans would be nice so that you have adequate length to reach the PWM Hub and RGB node and run the cables so that are hidden
The cable management room is phenomenal. I've got an RGB monstrosity of a build with 5 different corsair RGB hubs and fan controllers including the ones it comes with and no issues whatsoever fitting all of it. I've even got an RGB hub attached to a Commander Pro and still has clearance to close up nicely. If you can't fit your cables comfortably, you're doing it wrong. And lets be honest, if you're considering the 5000X RGB, you're definitely building a corsair RGB monstrosity yourself and you need all the cable management room you can get. An added touch is that the included controllers are easy to remove if preferred. I didn't need the included PWM fan repeater because I've got a Commander Core and Commander Pro that cover my fan needs, and its as easy as removing a few screws. The same goes for the included RGB hub if you prefer to have the hub relocated for whatever reason. Even though the case has glass panels on the front and top, airflow is still not restricted too much. Able to keep my 5900X with corsair 360mm AIO as side intake at around 80C under a stress test load and peak I've seen gaming is 76C on Cyberpunk, while my 3080 (EVGA XC3 Ultra) maxes out at about 75C. These temps are extremely reasonable and well within operable limits, so no reason whatsoever to avoid the 5000X RGB version because of airflow concerns.
Pros: Nice Corsair 3 Front RGB Fans and very quite running. Also plenty of room inside the case to do a neat build. Very good airflow. Similar to the 5000D to look at.Cons: Would of been better if it had one single plug for the front panel connectors instead of each one for The Reset Switch-Power and LED etc.
