This is an excellent mouse. It is very precise.I like the mousepad calibration on it.The mouse I upgraded from is a "Corsair Gaming Sabre RGB" that was getting a little long in the tooth and one of the side buttons started double clicking. I can not use all the buttons without adjusting my grip on the Sabre. There is no mousepad calibration on the Sabre, and the Sabre is only 10k DPI while the M65 is 18k DPI, the 8k difference is definitely noticeable.I can not use all the buttons on the M65 without adjusting my grip and even then I can barely reach the Sniper button and button 7 with my thumb.I use a "fingertip" grip on mice and move them around the pad with my fingers.I have tried many brands, Most brands fall short in weird ways, for example; I don't ... MoreThis is an excellent mouse. It is very precise.I like the mousepad calibration on it.The mouse I upgraded from is a "Corsair Gaming Sabre RGB" that was getting a little long in the tooth and one of the side buttons started double clicking. It should be moved to the top. I love Corsair products as they are usually very well rounded. I have a k65 RGB keyboard by Corsair and absolutely love it. I also have a pair of their wireless headsets. The HS70 Pro. So, just to state, I have tried other brands before and I look at the differences between brands a lot.Continuing on about the Meeces, I would love it if manufacturers would make smaller mice, for us folks who use fingertip grip on mice. As I stated before, I don't tend to move my mouse around with my wrist and arm, I can use my finger tips and thumb to move the mouse around all three of my monitors without moving my wrist or picking up the mouse.Removing just barely a half inch from the back of this M65 mouse would make it absolutely perfect for my needs. I would not call the Sniper button "Ergonomically placed" unless you use the palm grip or have larger hands using the other grip styles.Another thing is the thumb rests on mice, Many of the Corsair mice styles would be far more perfect for me than the Sabre (which I loved the Sabre so much) and the M65, if it were not for the thumb rest... I use my thumb and/or my pink finger slightly touching the mouse pad to get precise movements during FPS Gaming. The slight thumb rest on the M65, which protrudes more than the one on the Sabre, does cause my thumb to travel further when I need to use my thumb touching the mouse pad to get precise movements using my thumb. As always, the iCUE software just keeps getting better with each new release Corsair makes. There are a few things I would change about it, but that is for another day.In conclusion, If you are looking for a great gaming mouse, I definitely recommend the M65 RGB Elite.

So, I did about a months worth of research between all the gaming mouses on the market, I went to multiple stores feeling them out in person and I came to one conclusion, the most important thing, is how it feels in your hand. This mouse is wide and perfect for those with wider hands, I have a finger tip grip when using my mouse, and I find the Corsair triangle anti-slip rubber works really well for keeping my pinky and ring finger from rubbing on my mousepad. The 8k polling feels extremely smooth and is a noticeable difference from mouses that use the generic 1k polling, but I don't think this is a make or break unless you're in the top 0.01% of your gaming ecosystem. From personal experience, I really enjoy corsairs quick trigger mouse buttons, I tend to click ... MoreSo, I did about a months worth of research between all the gaming mouses on the market, I went to multiple stores feeling them out in person and I came to one conclusion, the most important thing, is how it feels in your hand. From personal experience, I really enjoy corsairs quick trigger mouse buttons, I tend to click my right mouse button a lot by accident because I have a fingertip grip on my mouse, but the quick trigger springs give a slight resistance that stops me from accidently clicking the right mouse button. Also played around the with tilting gyroscopic motion "buttons" they work pretty well with me, Ive seen some YouTube reviews showing how it didn't work for those influencers, but I found it wasn't the case for me, no complaints works perfectly as intended.I mainly compared all the razer, Logitech, steel series, and glorious mouses within the $70-200 range.Get the wired version if wireless is too expensive, if this mouses is a little too big, the Corsair sabre pro, or the steel series aerox 5/glorious O, are also good mouses alternatives.

Don’t buy it.. it has a known defect where the left mouse button becomes less responsive over a short time and yet they still have not recalled it. Support is slammed and non responsive. One of the worst Corsair products I’ve ever used. The previous model was built to a much higher standard and used higher quality metals on the bottom. This new RGB model feels so cheap.. and just like everyone else my buttons are not responding after 4 months of heavy use. Guess Corsair is no longer making quality stuff anymore sadly.. time to switch to razer or Logitech. A real shame as I’ve used Corsair since early 2015 for ram, cases, power supplies, etc but Clearly leadership has cut budgets or something. It’s very noticeable.

Overall.. Great Mouse! With that said, what I purchased was a "NEW" mouse, what I received was, at best, an open box, or returned product. The sticker over the bottom of the box even has NEW printed on it from the vendor, but the seal stickers are not present and when opened the cardboard inside intended to hold the mouse still and secure is ripped in 3 places all the way down to the creases in it. As if someone already opened this in a hurry. I don't appreciate being sold something as NEW and it not really being NEW. All said and done, I think they were banking on my current sentiment. That a 26 dollar mouse in this case wasn't worth the hassle to return. Well I can at least tell people about what they can expect to receive should they order from this vendor. Just ... MoreOverall.. Just label your items correctly, had it said open box I may have continued shopping elsewhere, however had I not and said it's worth the risk, I wouldn't be upset about this right now and writing a review about it.
Some products are "good but not great". I say this mouse is great, but not perfect. It works very well for blizzard games and the adjustable weight makes it fit what I want it to feel like when I lift / move it. The customizable buttons are great for overwatch, but maybe not for a super macro-heavy WoW style game. Comparatively, it has fewer customizable buttons so if you have a compact keyboard (without the num-pad), you might want to look at a mouse that has more buttons on the side. The red button with a target isn't re-mappable I think, but it is useful feature when needing to slow down your DPI in a fast paced moment. Otherwise, I change my DPI settings every time I change characters on overwatch by tapping the up / down buttons on top of the mouse. The ... MoreSome products are "good but not great". Otherwise, I change my DPI settings every time I change characters on overwatch by tapping the up / down buttons on top of the mouse. The colour-coding makes the current DPI easy to identify within seconds. The cord is quite long, and it is fabric braided instead of regular rubber cable so it will always glide smoothly and I can use the mouse in a tiny space without a cord affecting the mobility of the mouse even if it's bumping right up against something. The cord joint into the mouse is also recessed under the mouse button in a pretty cool design that makes it so that the cord is never in the way and never bends at weird angles that ruin the cable's inner wiring. Finally, I enjoy the scroll wheel as it feels industrial and sturdy, and has a satisfying tactile feedback for precision scrolling. That's key because I have some abilities mapped to the scroll wheel so I can quickly activate some abilities, but still precisely without accidentally doing so.Anyways, I have had the mouse since 2017 and recommend it for those who like a decent weight, good clicky clicky feedback, and a few re-mappable buttons.
I'm not a claw grip mouser... but I'm learning to be. I've had a Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro SE for about 3 years, and it started double clicking when I only single clicked, annoying. After much trying to fix the issue, I gave in and bought another mouse, the M65. I knew it was a claw grip before I bought it, but what drew me to it were the optical mouse button sensors. They work really well, nice positive clicks. The mouse glides smoothly on a Corsair mouse mat, integrates with all the corsair RGB stuff on my system, iCue picks it up right away. It's nicely made, seems sturdier than the dark core, but it does have an aluminium chassis so that's to be expected. The battery life is way longer the Dark Core too. In short this is a really good mouse, especially for FPS. ... MoreI'm not a claw grip mouser... but I'm learning to be. Feels great, precise to move and point. But within 3 months the Scroll Wheel was doing it's own thing and making using it nearly impossible. Ever had to scroll the wheel 50 times to get it where you wanted? After 4 months the dreaded double-click issue began with the left-click button. Roughly 10/100 clicks will register as a double-click. Compressed air into the button reduced it to 3/200 but that's still enough to make gaming incredibly frustrating.Would not recommend after this experience especially after now seeing so many issues posted on forums about this model. I cannot be bothered with the Youtube fixes that exist that require soldering and disassembly. It's going to the gallows with every one of the rest of the double-click-problem mice *cough cough Razer* ... MoreFeels great, precise to move and point. But within 3 months the Scroll Wheel was doing it's own thing and making using it nearly impossible. Great mouse especially using 2000hz in slip stream mode on my windows gaming machine. Using 170hz 1440p make the tracking feel oh so smoke. I would prefer the 8000hz which extra lighting zone for half the price but I’m trying to have a tidy desktop. Bluetooth I guess is good in a pinch but would never use it. Though I do notice the keyboard and mouse slipstream dongle do lock up here and then when takes a unplug replies TB4 cable to get it back. Having icue on both OS’s helps too. So I’d recommend this for anyway but get wired version if ain’t to fussed. Cheers
The software behind this mouse makes it pretty stellar. Every button (with the exception of the "left click") is not only reprogrammable, but you can have multiple profiles for different tasks. For example, I have three: one for gaming (obviously), one for media consumption (e.g. the three side buttons used for skip track, go to the previous track, and play/pause), and another for general navigation around the Windows desktop (e.g. buttons for switching tabs in the browser, a button to switch between programs that are running, and the two buttons on the top are used to navigate between multiple desktops). Another plus is that the thumb placement is very natural and all the buttons are easy to access. Another plus is that the thumb placement is very natural and all the buttons are easy to access. What I don't like is that my wrist rests pretty firmly on my desk while using this mouse. A bit uncomfortable, in comparison to my former mouse. If you use a wrist rest in conjunction with this device, this might not be an issue. This mouse also lacks a tiltable scroll wheel (which allows you to scroll sideways more easily on wide web pages and documents). The scroll wheel is also pretty stiff and is not super sensitive. This is bothersome to me, only because the scroll wheel click is reprogrammable. So, if this mouse had the tilt function along with adjustable sensitivity for its scrolling, I would definitely program that scroll wheel click for a different function. Shopping around, this was the least expensive mouse that I had my eye on. No clue if I would have liked any others more than this one. However, I can almost guarantee that this mouse is a better value than any that cost more than it does
I wanted a somewhat inexpensive, but not cheap hi-res mouse with sturdy buttons to replace a Corsair Harpoon, a cheaper model than this M65. I liked how smoothly the Harpoon worked and its easy to change resolution options, but the left button on it started malfunctioning after about 2 years of almost daily use with studio and art apps and some gaming. Its button switches were rated at 20 million clicks, which was twice as much as other mid-grade mice I've tried from Logitech. The 10 million click mouse's button wore out after about a year, so the 60 million click rating for this Corsair made me want to try it out. The buttons are the first thing to wear out in my decades of experience with mice, so button ratings are important, though I have to say an old Dell ... MoreI wanted a somewhat inexpensive, but not cheap hi-res mouse with sturdy buttons to replace a Corsair Harpoon, a cheaper model than this M65. The buttons are the first thing to wear out in my decades of experience with mice, so button ratings are important, though I have to say an old Dell mouse that came with a PC I bought about 15 years ago, had its buttons last many, many years with similar use patterns. I also like the Corsair iCue software that works with the mice as it lets me customize things to my needs, though some things are not very intuitive to set up. You don't have to install the iCue software to use the mouse however. The mouse itself works well and its laser tracking is smooth like the Harpoon. The RGB lighting is nice but not important to me. The buttons on the M65 seem to need a little more pressure than the Harpoon as I found sometimes a click didn't register. I don't know if that is a malfunction since the switches are different. Overall, I like how the mouse works. A complaint is that it doesn't feel as comfortable on the sides because the Harpoon had a more rubber texture on the sides while this one has an uncomfortable coarse plastic feel, though the top buttons feel better with a smooth, slightly rubber feel. This mouse has metal weights to customize how heavy it is, but I felt it was a light mouse even with all the weights installed, so the weights weren't much of a factor for me. Another thing about the M65 is that it looks odd and asymmetric, more organic looking, but that is an esthetic thing that doesn't matter so much. I had the M65 for over two months now and it was dropped a couple feet on a hard floor a few times and there does not seem to be any damage. If the click rating on this mouse holds, I shouldn't have to replace it for five or six years, so we'll see.
