I gotta say the Corsair RM750x power supply is pretty dope! First off, it's super efficient with an 80+ Gold rating, which means it won't be sucking up too much electricity and costing you a bunch of money. Plus, the fully modular design makes it easy to install and keep your cables organized.What's really cool is how quiet it is. The fan only kicks on when it needs to, so you won't have to deal with any loud, annoying sounds when you're trying to focus or create something. The build quality is top-notch too. I've had the PSU for about a week after upgrading from the RM750e (to accommodate a bigger graphics card). The zero fan seems to work fine, and I haven't had any discernible issues with power. The reason I don't give it 5 stars is the cables: they are sleeved, but not all the way to the end - at the ends (particularly the CPU cables) the wires look like tangled spaghetti. Also there is some glue/adhesive that shows at the ends of the sleeving that is white/clear and looks cheap. Another big con with the cables is that there is a very stiff section near the ends (again CPU cables) that won't flex - maybe there is an in-line capacitor or something there, but yeah not good. For PCI-e, I only needed 2 so that was fine, but the pig-tail ends on each cable are a hassle ... This PSU is a good value. It's 750 watts, fully modular, and gold certified. My only issue is that it makes the most annoying rattling noise periodically. I just filled out a thing with Corsairs support to see if there is a quick fix or something I missed. It's just sad because I have had this PSU for 2-3 weeks and it started after a couple of days. it is hard to recommend if there is an issue with it. If the noise does not come with any issues later on, its still labeled as a "low noise" psu, and it's far from that.
I like fully modular power supplies. Cables you don't need become replacement cables when or if the other cables fail. My 600 watt Thermaltake barely worked. You have to fiddle with it for more than 10 minutes to get my I7 8700K with GTX 1080 TI to power on. After swapping my PSW, this powered with no problem the first button press. It has powered every time on first press since installed. Overall, I like the product, didn't care about the product, but will buy again to replace my 650 watt EVGA in my other PC when it fails.
I had a noise issue with my previous psu. After two years of use, my psu fan would kick up and rattle like crazy when I would do anything moderately intensive on my pc. I tried to fix it by cleaning it out, but nothing I tried would solve the problem. It got to a point when I decided to replace it with this one. I’ve heard good things about Corsair power supplies, so I decided to pick this one up. The most obvious difference to me with this one is noise. It’s even quieter than the EVGA one I had even when it wasn’t rattling. After a month of use, my hope is that it continues to be durable. I’m quite happy so far, but time will tell if the price I paid was worth it.
The PSU had minimal coil whine and its fan wasn't noisy in the first half month of use. In order to even hear the whine, you had place one's ear near the PSU in the rear.Afterwards the whine got progressively louder at idle which could now be heard over an arm's length away from the case. This was exacerbated by slight load.Now when the PSU fan turns on, it's louder than all my other case and cpu cooler fans.Presently waiting on a support ticket from Corsair at the moment.

The power supply supplies power, and will hopefully do so reliably for years to come. That said, it is noisy. I thought I was crazy until I saw these reviews. Mine makes a grinding noise when I open a new browser tab or anything that requires any more power and ramps up with a loud grinding and whining.This would have been better if Corsair didn't give me the runaround on support with a ticket that lingered for a week before I gave up. I just resubmitted a ticket and will update on if they come through.
